We decided to spend a longer weekend at the Sopot hotel. A big advantage of the hotel is its location, away from the center of Sopot, allowing for a peaceful stay surrounded by a beautiful park with a very nice view from the hotel rooms.
Another advantage is the comfortable and quiet lobby where you can relax, rest, drink good wine and work quietly. A plus for the interesting decor, modern but cozy.
Very nice service was another positive surprise during our stay.
The only downside for us were the ladies who came to the room at 9 a.m. asking if we wanted cleaning done. We think this time could be later.
From the hotel you can easily go to the beach and the walking route to the center of Sopot.
We recommend Hotel Sopot for a weekend or short trip.

Amazing property but mostly staff. Very accommodating and helpful when needed. Beds are comfortable but you can’t separate them for two people unless you need them for kids. Grab studio bed instead which is lovely. Breakfast is delicious together with espresso coffee machine and access to oat milk or almond milk which you can froth and add to your coffee (I consider myself a Coffee connoisseur hence the info :) also I traveled a lot staying mostly in 4 & 5 star hotels across the world having come from USA so I’d consider this hotel very comparable alongside S Africa hotels. Close to the beach and restaurants alongside it. I walked everywhere. Overall, very pleasant 5 night stay and I’d def go back. Thank you to all making my stay so enjoyable.

Very nice establishment not far from the large and beautiful beach of Sopot. Beautiful bedroom and bathroom with Italian shower. The breakfast is varied and satisfies all desires. The staff is very nice. The restaurant offers a very pretty green and pleasant terrace. The menu is not endless but offers really good dishes and very attentive service. Indoor swimming pool and spa are available. The hotel bar is great with a very nice menu. Recommended for a relaxing and pleasant visit to the Sopot region. Thanks to the whole team. See you soon.

I want to start of by saying that this review is based on expectation and experience. The stay it self was average.
Based on the logo and pictures/text on the webpage I expected 4 star service. This was far from the truth. Service level was OK, 3 star, nobody said hello once the 20 times I passed the reception during our stay. We had a don’t disturb sign on the room door, but maid still entered. We were told in recetion there was towes at the beach, when we got to the beach, we were told it was in the recetion. Hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the beach and 20 minutes from downtown. Its a bit to walk if you want anything to drink or eat as there is not much around the hotel its self. There was no light or music in the spa, and the temperature in sauna was colder than normal. I usually get maxpulse during 15 min, this time it was 120 max. Hotel is clean and modern, so much potential!

I arrived and had some difficulty with lifts. There is only two lifts and no stairs and you need your key card to access the floors (because there's security concerns???). I finally reached my room which was tiny, nearly couldn't find the wardrobe because it was so small. They have a big wall sized window into the bathroom to make the room seem bigger (or maybe people like to see their partner take a poo). The rest of my group arrived a bit late, at 9:30pm and they were hungry. The hotel could not have been less accommodating. Despite what I was told and what was written on the menus, the restaurant stopped serving at 9:30 and the night menu started at 11pm. The bar is staffed by one very over worked person so waiting for a drink can take a long time. Also he makes the worst Mojito I have ever had the misfortune to taste. On the positive side, the tiny rooms were clean. The buffet breakfast was good but there was usually a big queue to get a table. It seems very dog friendly and the many dogs seemed happy. Maybe it's a hotel for dogs and the people are an inconvenience, that's how most of the staff act anyway.

At two o'clock in the morning, there was still a party going on in the bar on the first floor of the hotel.
Even if I live on the third floor, I can hear the music and I can't rest at all.
Very disappointing experience
It's unimaginable that something like this would happen
Completely disrespectful to guests

Great buffet breakfast, next time we may visit just to have breakfast! The hotel is quite new, nicely decorated, windows can be opened. Good location in a quiet part of Sopot, short walk to the beach. Welcoming staff. What I did not like about the hotel : the housekeeping team uses air freshener and the smell is quite strong. Had to open the window to get rid of the smell and it went away only the next day. We had two single beds and they were quite small. The biggest issue was the noise at night. There was a corporate party on the ground floor and the guests were very loud until 1-2 am. I think the hotel staff should make sure that all their guests have a pleasant stay.

A great hotel nicely located close to the beach. Staff is really friendly and the rooms are nice.I can recommend this hotel. The buffet is just ok at least for families with small kids... It is nice to take the breakfast outside (no toast nor orage juice).

My children and I had a nice stay at Hotel Spot. I would love to take my family to this hotel again. But…. We had an early flight back home, in a hurry I lost one of my earplugs (AirPods). I sent an email to the Hotel as soon as I found out and I also made a call. I asked them if they could send med the ear plug by letter, but they said that they only could send me the earplug if I arranged a courier. Which would cost me more than a new earplug. I’m sad to say that this made a sad end of a nice vacation..

So sad to say that HS is more than a 3 star place but with a room to improve easily. First, managers and staff, have to understand the difference — 4* is NOT better 3* — it's almost 5*. Huge difference in approach.
Here is the thing. Hotel itself is new (1y old I believe). Their price target is a guy with some money (over average in PL) or average €-land Tourist. With rates around 150€ in peak season on weekends is not the cheapest one (just for the contrast — room rate equals 20% of avg. salary in PL). It IS cheaper than other 4* thou but not much.
So... Like everybody else I expect that 4* hotel provides me a well, quiet sleep, a fully equipped room, tasty food, good service and some hidden gems (nice to have). Of course every country in the world sets own star standards (maybe you didn't know) but still I think I do have some eye on this kind of places.
Unfortunately hotel DOES NOT meet the criteria for Polish 4 stars rating. Here is my stress test.
Location — out of the main, noisy (during season) places in Sopot but with walking distance from them. BUT a little bit noisy - surrounded by roads from 3 sides. Precisely 480m from the beach. No direct entrance or path to get to sand (despite management promise to have one when season starts). Use sidewalks. Beaware that photos of the hotel suggest that it lies on the beach — it's not.
Room — rather small comparing to others nearby. A/C, even when turned off, still works but makes temp. too low, and flow is irritating and generating headaches. Noisy — paper walls, doors and WINDOWS! Yes, you will hear all sports car, ambulances etc.
Room equipment — nice furnished but the rest is budget and basic, just to meet lowest criteria for 4 stars. Looks like someone cut expenses, really. No welcome book, no info about the hotel, restaurant/bar, numbers, no notepad (only small, useless pencil), nothing. Empty fridge, no minibar (and no option to fill it). Kettle + 2 Althaus teas or powder coffee. Bathroom — really basic walk-in shower with one gel dispenser on the wall (like in 2* venues for kids), same dispenser for hands soap near sink. Plastic mugs. No amenities = no expenses. Who uses them anyway, right? Closet has 6 hangers and laundry bag + safe box. That's it.
Food — superb breakfast (I guess this is the point where hotel actually improved something based on guests' comments), wide and wild selection of local food. Fresh juices, coffee, plenty of food. Haven't tested restaurant food due to bad comments.
Room service — here is my story (Saturday evening). At 10:15PM walked down to the lobby to ask about some food. Restaurant is already closed (till 10pm), bar is open, has some sandwiches in the menu but... if restaurant is closed they can't order anything. So I asked staff about room service — open 7-23 (their own statement in printed policy rules) - they say it's closed too. So, just to sum it up — Sopot, Saturday, 10:15pm; restaurant is close, room service is closed, bar doesn't have even peanuts, minibar doesn't exist and I am standing in front of well designed lobby with cortens detials, surrounded by Jachts albums and Time covers of self-called 4* hotel. W-T-F.
Sleeping — ordered "queen size bed" — got two twin linked together with huge gap between them. Didn't even bother to complain because I know they don't have that big mattress at all. Budget. Snap in the face to be honest.
Service — kind and helpful front desk. The rest of the staff is not well trained if at all.
Leisure or activities — the best picture is a few guests, sitting sad at the lobby and watching TV, doing nothing. They can't because nothing is there. Reminder: peak season, Saturday night, Sopot. Why you even bothered to buy a piano if there is no-one to play on?
So... dear owner/manager — hotel is not a fancy restaurant with beds. It's a journey. A story to tell. Mobile home for all of us. I want to feel welcomed and well cared. I have not. So, please, stop focusing on pool, saunas and marketing, communicating the same words over and over and start improving your basic product which is not there !!! (not to mention that doesn't even qualify for 4*).
My advise: when season comes — pack your hotel to the roof with all amenities, food, services, minibars and so on, because this is how you make money. All guests will appreciate it.
