I have used the Sheraton Sopot hotel for the last 6 years, staying in the range of 10-20 times per year for my business in the Gdansk/"Tri-City" area. I have layely ecperienced problems with various features at the hotel, being broken doors, damaged furniture’s, not functional curtains, stuck doors to bathroom, temperature issues with heating or air conditioner/fan, worn out flooring, fluctuating temperature on water temperature in the sink and especially in the shower (to the extent that it is almost «dangerous» or at least very uncomfortable to shower when the water is shifting from very cold to very hot) - and all of this in different rooms over a period of time. In many of the rooms I have stayed in, it is also impossible to adjust temperature on the water battery in sinks and showers, and I have had a meeting even with the technical department (earlier) at the hotel about this. About temperature in the rooms - on my latest stay starting 15. January 2024 it was impossible to get the temperature in the room above 20 degrees (it was winter with outside temperature from minus 5 to 10), and in the bathroom I could not get the temperature above 17-18 degrees without taking serious actions. I had to make use of the hairdryer (in which actually worked in this room…) on full speed/temp with closed door to the bathroom for 20-30 minutes to get a temperature up to a level where I could actually feel some comfort taking shower or using the bathroom. I started it, went for breakfast and when coming back it was kind of acceptable temperature in the bathroom. I also think the general standard at the hotel is starting to get worn out and I also experience a shift in the service-level and general quality at the hotel lately. I feel it is going downhill with this hotel now - not living up to the 5-star rating anymore, rather a 4-star, even less. I am seriously considering taking my business elsewhere!

We chose to have breakfast at Sheraton Hotel Sopot on Sunday, but it proved to be a regrettable decision. Priced at 132 zł, it was clearly overpriced, and the limited food options left us disappointed. My daughter struggled to find something to eat, but fortunately, she managed to make a selection. The lady serving hot food seemed unhappy, and there was a lack of information about the available options. When we asked for bacon, it was overcooked, dry, and hard. The overall impression was that the lady serving hot food seemed to be there reluctantly, providing no suggestions or ideas for a more enjoyable breakfast experience.

Sheraton offers a delightful experience for guests. We stayed for the fourth time in the Executive Room having a nice water view, and a warm atmosphere. Situated directly in front of the pier, the location of the hotel provides a great view of the water, the pier and the square. The staff is always very friendly, ensuring a warm welcome and attentive service throughout our stay. The club lounge adds an extra touch of luxury, offering complimentary amenities. The pool and spa are good, adding a perfect way to relax any time a day. Overall, Sheraton, Sopot combines modern style with top-notch amenities, making it a memorable destination for our family during the holidays. We will be back.

Excellent ! Likely one of the best Sheratons I ever stayed. Efficient at check in and check out, very nice rooms (I had room 119 which is a spacious corner room) and top class service. The location is just in front of the longest pier in Europe which is very nice for an early morning walk. I enjoyed every minute of my 2 nights stay there.

The hotel is situated on the beach within a short walking distance from the main street. Lots of cafes and restaurants everywhere. The hotel staff was welcoming and polite. The room for a family of three is too small. The pullout sofabed is uncomfortable and way too short for a 13 year old. Some carpets on floor (unhygienic and outdated). The bathroom is spacious and clean. Soap dispenders on wall. The king size bed is excellent - so are the pillows. The bar on the ground floor is excellent, they make delicious drinks. The cleaning is spotless. Closed pool area due to renovation should have been compensated in some way (for instance with complimentary late check-out on request).

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst attending a conference. Rooms are beautifully appointed and huge. Bed was very comfortable and I was upgraded and had a side sea view. Breakfast choice was extensive but I wasn’t aware that the chef would cook to order as I’ve just spotted in recent posts. Great location. Took a walk on the world’s second longest wooden pier. Weather was glorious and they offer excellent government rates. My first visit to Poland and I was very impressed.

The hotel is on the beachfront with nice views of the sea and pier. We stayed in room 254, which was very well laid out. The bedding was very comfortable and room clean and tidy. The breakfast was superb with a lot of variety of food choices. It was great being able to ask the chef for eggs benedict and freshly cooked bacon. The reception and wave restaurant staff were very attentive and friendly. It is a great central location when visiting Sopot.

This is with no doubt a good hotel. However, the devil’s in the detail. Sheraton is a class lower than the neighboring Grand, and while it’s also cheaper, it doesn’t fully live up to the 5 star standard. While the rooms are very elegantly furnished, the lobby and the bars/restaurants leave you with a somewhat cheap and generic impression of a conference facility. We are three people, which is a less usual setup; however, I don’t really get it why instead of a proper bed, our child got something like a sofa bed. Yet, the charge was for three adults (since he is 14). In my eyes, you either can accommodate three people properly or just don’t sell ‘tripple’ rooms. Another issue was in the bathroom, which had just a shower with a…plastic curtain. Brown from dirt on the bottom. Really? That there are no vanity kits in the bathrooms is quite a shock in a hotel of this class - should I run to Rossmann for a pack of cotton pads? I stayed in a Novotel in Cracow recently, which has 4 stars, and they did have vanity kits! The toiletries are also something of a mid-range, while 5 star hotels usually choose to have high-end stuff. The towels on the beach look chintzy. The houskeeping service is never in touch with the reception desk, so your requests don’t matter. We got a late checkout - nope, the houskeeper was sitting on our backs already at 1 pm. And there are many more details of this kind. The parking situation is a joke. The hotel doesn’t have their own parking - fine. But to add insult to injury, they even don’t have any collaboration with the neighboring parking garage, which not only is an utter ripoff (no preferential prices for the guests). Nut just try leaving the lot - it’ll be impossible to get in again, as it’s always full. Further, the spa. A tiny pool (admittedly quite warm water) and a pleasurable jacuzzi. Beware, however, in case you travel with kids. Even, like myself, with a kid who pays the adult price for the room. In the spa, however, he’s no longer an adult and can’t enter, as it is from 18 years. Well, I understand that some adults don’t feel like relaxing in children’s company, but why can’t teenagers be allowed there under the parents’ supervision? Ridiculous. Not to mention that nobody actually cares, so I saw kids between 5-8 running in and out of there using their parents’ keys. Finally, the iron. Chap supermarket irons in the rooms, which do not do the job. Disaster. Anyway, the good thing is the breakfast - really nice selection of foods; however, the à la carte choices are not only limited but also quite mediocre. Apart from their eggs benedict, which are not mediocre. They are officially the WORST interpretation of this dish you’re ever gonna get to taste.

Dear martaaD1186YG, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience while staying with us. Providing the highest level of hospitality is our number one priority and I sincerely apologize for failing to meet your expectations. We are working to reduce our environmental impacts that is why vanity kits and much more are only one call away to our guest service center or very easily accessed through Marriott Bonvoy app. We do take additional charge for and extra bed and breakfast for children above 12 years of age. I am very sorry for your experience with a late check out I have shared your feedback with housekeeping leadership team to ensure the necessary guidelines are in place and reviewed. We have used it as a teachable moment to prevent it from occurring in the future. Unfortunately we do not own many parking spaces apart from those in front of the hotel, but we are always more than happy to help with finding space in the parking's nearby, as we know that due to our location in the city center, right next to the Sopot’s pier, it is not easy to park in the summer. I also took a liberty to notify our Spa management team to check your reported lack of control between areas. Thank you very much for pointing that out. I hope you choose to stay with us again when your travels bring you back to the area and we will have a chance to change your opinion about us. In case of any questions I remain at your disposal. Sincerely, Radosław Kacprzak Rooms Division Manager Sheraton Sopot Hotel
