Nice outdoor seating, good menu so we decided to have our dinner here. Got an English speaking waiter.Perfekt....or...he just talked and talked, didn’t get the order straight. Came back three times to sourt out the order (4dishes)Came out with red wine instead of white. People that came after us got there food.....and we waited....people paid and left.....one and a half hour later, the food came to the table but....just to 3 of us (we were 4). After waiting 20 more minutes I had to eat my friends leftovers. 😬 (the waiter talking away with other tables) We were so disappointed in how the waiter handle the situation, trying to explain the situations over out head not listening to us. No compensation offered. TERRIBLE
We booked a couple of nights to have a day by the sea. The hotel itself was lovely - very elegantly styled and decorated. We booked the suite on the top floor comprising a spacious double room, a living room that turned into our kids' room - they slept on a double sofa bed - a little salon in the tower and a small bathroom (shower). The situation was somewhat marred by the existence of a sort of shanty town of an amusement arcade, food stalls and tat stalls on the opposite side of the road to the hotel. We'd imagined it completely differently! From the pictures we thought the hotel would be on a road just opposite the sea front. It is indeed a very short walk to the beach, but through the shanty town. The town of Miezyzdroje itself was absolutely heaving. Whilst we expected some crowds as the seaside always attracts them, we weren't quite expecting Oxford St. levels. It rained during our stay so everyone was shuffling up and down the main drag rather than sitting on the beach. The hotel was actually a welcome retreat of calm and decorum. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Having clocked some reviews saying it wasn't topped up, we didn't leave it to late to go down for breakfast and we had a feast!…
My wife and I stayed here together with our son, daughter-in-law and grandson. Both parties had good, well-appointed rooms, with views towards the sea. Good baby-bed was provided, breakfast was really good, staff was very friendly. Pleasant hotel is at a good location, set apart from the touristic hustle and bustle but within easy walking distance of the center along the main 'boulevard'. In itself the immediate vicinity of the hotel is nothing special, but in fact the entire town is not the most attractive seaside town.
Great location, beautiful room and very friendly staff. Located on the main promenade but really good noise isolation. Really clean and well looked after property. The breakfast really good but must get down early as later on the food is not always toped up. Few hiccups, when booking deposit paid but during check out I was presented with a full bill + the car park charge and we did not have a car. Secondary we mentioned that it was our second anniversary and it was my present to my fiancé but no even a small mention of our special occasion. Additionally t is really difficult to get someone at the reception. The front door is shut majority of the day and you have to search for people to assist you plus no one has offered to help us with the luggage. Lastly the signs in the room and the restaurant are translated into English and German language but with the use of Google translator. As a person who can speak both of those languages some of the signs made no sense. Generally great place with a great potential and location. Better attention to details and there will be no issue. Great short break , thank you everyone.…
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at the inn. The food was very good and staff were very pleasant. It was an added bonus to have use of the swimming pool at a nearby hotel. A disappointment was the view from our room of a dilapidated building. The pull out couch was quite uncomfortable for the week's stay.
We arrived at this small 'castle' as my vife prefer to call it, on sunday 8/6-2014. We lived in room 305, that includes a small balcony, with sea (partly) and promenade view. The room was spacious, clean and well furnished. The included breakfast, that we had in the garden is plentiful - and what You don't see - You can ask for. Staff is quick and always smiling. The menu for lunch and dinner offers a few well selected dishes at a fair price. The promenade offers a lot of life, shops, bars, restaurants and experiences with a low price tag. What a great place for a few days of relaxation.
The accomodation is a beautifully refurbished old house very efficiently run by Ewa Schwarze and her attentive staff. The standard of furnishing and service is excellent with large, well furnished rooms and good wi-fi connection apart from some minor glitches. The restaurant is mainly Polish style with some interesting variations and some of the best soups I have had in Poland which is saying something! They also do pizzas and some Italian dishes. There is a sandy beach over the road, 2 minutes walk away, there are lovely walks and cycles from the doorstep in the beech and pine woods of the Wolin National Park and excellent canoeing and bird-watching from Karsibor nearby. We saw 4 sea eagles on our second day of canoeing as well as numerous herons and cormorants. Bicycle and canoe hire is very cheap. Ewa knows the area very well and will be able to advise you whatever you want to do Międzyzdroje is basically an old fashioned style family seaside resort so there are lots of activities for children of the more old-fashioned sort and generally the town has a very nice feel. The two minor downsides are that the arcade over the road does have music in the evening to about 10pm though this is easily controlled by shutting the windows, and, like many Polish hotels there are no tea and coffee facilities in the room.…
Very nice place, rooms are beautifully refurbished. Sandy beach just 5 mins. away, so is the center of Miedzyzdroje. Excellent food at the restaurant. Re the prices - not too expensive, parking is included, so is wifi.
