Baltic Plaza Hotel Medi Spa **** is a unique place, created from love for space and nature, and respect for prestige and innovation. Attractiveness and appeal of Baltic Plaza Hotel Medi Spa **** is highlighted by its unique location - in the spa resort, surrounded by fauna of the Nature 2000 park, away from residential and commercial infrastructure, with direct access to a broad, almost empty beach and open (clean) sea.
The room - though spacious and well equipped (nice bathroom, a living room, huge safe locker) it does not give an impression of 4* hotel - lots of various defects, e.g. lack of basic toiletries, beds not made by the maid. The restaurant - breakfast is fine, the dinner - maybe a 2* standard (would not recommend it), the whole interior of the restaurant room - 2* Swimming pool + hot tub + saunas - nice tubs and saunas, small swimming pool; no towels offered SPA - a really nice massage (the interior of the SPA - a little poor, compared to other 4* places I visited) MIND: dogs are accepted at the hotel, so it might be noisy

Just spent a weekend at the Baltic Plaza with my partner. We thought this was going to be a luxury hotel but we soon found this hotel is starting fall into disrepair and is in urgent need of some maintenance work. On first impressions we thought it looked nice but then realised our room had stained carpets, bubbling and flaking plaster on the lounge and bedroom walls (also in the main reception), a fridge that did not chill anything, a TV that was dying and the double bed was two beds pushed together and one was higher than the other, also the one of the bathroom lights had blown. The pool area is also starting to need work and the steam room was out of order, the restaurant had a lack of seating and lights that are starting to fall from the celling. On the plus side the beach is quite close and is beautiful and the hotel is quirt but the area is very run down.…

I have stayed twice this year; at New Year's (Sylvester), and again in March. Large, clean rooms. Great location! The buffet is great, particularly breakfast; the ala carte restaurant is good too. Can't wait to visit again to sit on the patio during warm weather. Reception is very helpful at things like bike rentals, calling taxis, advice on what to see; they speak English, German, and Polish.

This hotel il located about 5 km from the center of the city, and about 400 m from the beach. It is quite new, comfortable and offers 3 kinds of sauna (steam, finnish and herbal), pool, jacuzzi. You can rent a bike in the reception. My apartment was rather big, with two rooms (one bed-room and living-room), internet works very good. Meal was also very tasty, in the evening it's possible to drink some fine drinks in the bar. I recommend this place, it's a good hotel for someone who wants to soend some moments by the sea ;)

The location is great, and closed parking is available for a reasonable price. We were lucky, and booked the hotel for a price that was 70% cheaper than the normal price; and we thought only that if we would have to pay the normal price, it wouldn't be worth it... Do not expect a great breakfast. When we came to eat 30 minutes before closing-time; there was no food left - nothing good for a hotel like this.

great hotel with great location. excelent rooms and highly clean. fair gym and a cool swiming pool. staff really nice and everything was great. the problem is that whem we went for breakfast, the salad cream was bad,and no one realised, and the pancakes, and the eggs where old, after breakfast we finished with a big belly pain and upset stomach that lasted more than 24 hrs. its a real shame that a good hotel as baltic plaza ends up that cheap by having bad food on the table !! be carefull please !!

The hotel is comfortable, and apparently many rooms are apartments. Nice staff. Fine breakfast. Located just at 5 minutes from the beach (walking area). Why not 4 or 5 as a mark? Take care: the beach is not forbidden to dogs, so it can be quite dirty. The hotel is outside the city, with no public transport access and no taxi rank. My room was lacking maintenance (for instance it was impossible to close the entry door) No wifi access, whatever the localisation in the hotel (room or restaurant).

We were in the Hotel Baltic Plaza for one week in the first week of July 2013. We enjoyed the trip, espacially with our 5 and 2 years old children. When the weather was bad, we were inside (appartment, pool, childrens playground inside). When the weather was well, we were at the Baltic sea or cycling with rented bcycles. The breakfast was good, the dinner at the buffet-bar was very good. The Hotel is new, wich you felt. But now the minus Points: 1. You have a balcony, but no chair o table there. If you have children, how should it work to be inside and using the balcony? They should put there furniture! 2. You are at the Baltic sea at the beach. But you haven´t any possibility to dry the wet clothes in your room or on your balcony after a beach day.Solution: Clothes horse. 3. Well, you are in Poland, but the staff should better be able to speak english. somtimes it was difficult to communicate with the staff in the Restaurant. At least missing some little, but not unimportant Points. All in all we were satisfied.…

We've been in Baltic Plaza for romantic weekend stay. Unfortunately, that is not the place... As for upsides: - hotel is new (2 years) - the apartments are large and spacious, well finished, with comfortable bathrooms, but you can see already signs of usage (dirty spots on the carpet, damaged furniture) - a'la carte food in restaurant is very good - location on the outskirts of Kołobrzeg give quiet and is very close to the beach - massages in spa are very good Unfortunately there are more things that ruin the place: - breakfasts have very limited choice of food - hotel mainly used by families with small kids so be prepared for constant cries, running down the corridors (I've nothing against - I've small kid myself but this way hotels is not good for romantic getaway) - service in the bar and restaurant is painfully slow - it takes 5 to 15 minutes to take the order, and another 30-45 to bring it - live music in the bar on the evenings is just HORRIBLE - loud and of very low quality. You just want to run as far as you can to not hear the noise - you can see people just put their head in the door and withdraw. - many small things don't work properly that just drives you mad: my first door card didn't work, after visit to reception I've got two of which only one worked; the wifi in the room didn't work and at reception they suggested that there is problem with my computer (although wifi in lobby worked); to park your car on the closed car park each time you have to take remote from the reception - price is just robbery compared with much better hotels in town - just compare 5* Aquarius Overall max 3* hotel, overpriced with poor service…

Just back from our peak-season family holiday at the Baltic Plaza – and it was perfect! The hotel has only advantages, with the size of the apartments being in the first place: two spacious rooms with a kitchenette, all conveniently and modern equipped for a comfortable living. Bathroom is also excellent and modern; we were also given bathrobes on the first day. We were provided with a clean and comfortable baby cot, too. The rooms are quiet. Location is another advantage: close to the beach, yet distant from noisy attractions and crowds, absolutely ideal. The reception desk staff is very competent, friendly and they have always reacted quickly to any of our requests, truly an asset for the hotel! The same I must say about the restaurant & bar staff: polite, quick, patient and professional in every way what is not easy with all the kids during meals ;-) Speak of the kids - the hotel is perfect for them: they say a child is a VIP and we could really feel that; we hardly ever saw our son who was busy either at the splendid ship-shaped playground, in the computer zone or downstairs in the play room (new tables for board games, darts, snooker and many more) while our little daughter found something for her in the kids club (a patient young lady sets up creative tasks for older kids, too). Great idea to have kids lunch! Swimming pool area was fine, maybe water in the pool a bit too cold, but kids seemed not to be bothered too much ;-) Clean and new fitness & gym. The food: extensive fresh buffet breakfast, really a delicious start to a day. Dinners also meet the 4* standard, maybe the chef was sometimes too generous with the black pepper in the soups and the fish was not from the Baltic but deep-frozen, but well, it happens. Another great thing is a possibility to extend your stay for an extra charge until late afternoon. The only problem was the staff at the spa reception desk: endless chaos and disorganization. Adding bike rental to their tasks was definitely beyond their capacity, unfortunately. Will definitely return and strongly recommend to anyone looking for perfect family vacations.…
