New year eve. I was literally shocked to see that most of the guests WERE NOT WEARING a mask. Wow. During the check in( long queue with all people standing next to each other , in the lift, walking in the hotel. I did not go to the restaurant and other commons area as I was literally scared. WOW. I have not see something like this anywere else I been travelling. Few others point. - Receptionist did not speak english - service room was until 16 ( as i did not want to go to restaurant in a situation such a the one described above). - gastronomia service did not speak english. - reception was not answering the phone. - toilet paper missing in the room. I understand it was a new year eve but I cannot understand the poor covid measures ( well no measures as what I have seen). I do not know the Polish law but were not even asked for the covid check. …
Very nice place, lot of space and everything for you, cinema, music, dancing, swimming pools, good restaurants and good variety of food, beach is just outside, lovely park with benches so you can relax in fresh air,
I rent a double room with my boyfriend it had a great view to the Baltic sea! For the price it was fair included breakfast and use to the spa area! Is really full with elderly people but nice people so it was fun! The best thing was the turning bar and yes turn 360°!! Buffet didn't fully what i thing good is that why one star less and one more cuz in the shower corner was some black mold coming out i don't that like that!! Besides i do recommend it :)
I booked a room during hot summer days and I was traveling with an infant. I called ahead of time to make sure that my room has working A/C. I was ensured that it is all fine. When I arrived the A/C was broken. I immediately reported the problem to staff and I was told it will be fixed within 30 min. No one came by to even look at it. I reported it again after two hours and receptionist (another person) told me that I need to wait. The problem was not fixed during my stay and I was not given an opportunity to move to different room. I asked to speak with a manager but they kept ignoring me. I was asked to come back tomorrow then eventually they asked me to write my complaint in writing and send it to management... Terrible customer service and I feel they knew about the broken A/C and lied to me over the phone anyways, but you cannot do anything because they will ignore you. I am never coming back.…
We've already been there three times and this must mean something, right? Not to mention the fact that we ended up elongating two of our stays just because we felt like we could use a day more. Maybe the rooms are nothing special, but the swimming pool, the spa, the sauna, the tennis court and the gym (poorly equiped, but better than in many other hotels) make up for it. Moreover, there is a great selection of food. Unfortunately, not many plan-based options are available and most of the dishes are colder than they should be. If you are looking for a family vacation spot, I highly recommend Arka.
The hotel is a good few years old. The spa needs attention from the management re customers' education - small kids running inside, people getting into saunas in swim suits and flip flops, etc. Close to the sea (front line). Virtually all guests are pensioners. Rather clean and tidy. Staff welcoming and knowledgable.
Very good facilities, in the hotel and the gardens, very close to the beach, good and safe parking. Town centre 15-20 minutes walk or 25zl taxi ride. Nice SPA, good service and food. Old part of hotel not so good and not recommended.
it was our seventh or eighth stay in Arka. really worst and worst, under any respect. maybe only because of high season, but it is no excuse. the big resort which allow to be with children without any fee - getting no any feedback for them - is terrible !! meals in children corner look terrible. food which is designated especially for children like pancakes - cold, permanently lack of milk on children table !! waiting for cornflakes which are missing after a while - 20 minutes !! you never met somebody responsible for kitchen service. my opinion is, they sold all rooms, maybe even a bit cheaper than competition, without any preparation for so many people. won't go there any time further. additionally, if you think that selecting the room many weeks before the season is a good idea, I have to disappointed you. it is cheaper - right, but as in my case, I have got first the small room at 6th floor - with 2 beds. when explained, that we are 4 total, so two adults + children 9 and 6 - the stuff at the desk said, that small children could sleep with parents, all together ! unbelievable ! OK, we can do that, if we want, but the reason to come for holiday is to sleep quite well, for at least one week, without children. for my claim, we have got normal room, on the ground floor, but with enough space.…
The hotel is close to the beach and offers great breakfast - that's about the only advantages. Staff are not friendly or helpful, just doing their job with minimum effort. The hotel is huge and crowded. Some older blocks of the hotel are old and poorly equipped. No toiletries in the bathroom. Reception only operates in certain hours so forget it if you need any help after 10pm. Would not recommend or go back.
We stayed at the Arka Medical Spa for 3 nights in July. First of all, this hotel looks excellent in the pictures, and the reviews were quite good. Some things about this place are in fact not bad, but for the most of the time our stay was a disappointment. The room: Old! Rooms are classic 70s. Service: What? Never heard that word. Stuff simply doesn´t work at this place. Room service was a big joke with like 5 alternatives, it was hard to even get hold of them. It took me an hour to reach them and when I got through, it was some crazy party in the background. Food: What a joke. Room service as well as breakfast and the half-board alternative, almost uneatable Hotel area: It has a very strange layout with nothing of interest, either in front or in the back. You need to walk distances to reach anything. The pool area is really not up to score for a 4-star hotel either. What is nice is the proximity to the beach, and the small garden in the back where you can get drinks and sun chairs. But that is not enough to stay here ever again.…
