The shower in the bathroom was clogged up with cigarettes that came floating out when we used it, we had to ask a cleaner to put bleach in it! The shower head holder was falling off, and the towel holder was snapped. One light in the room didn’t work, the plug sockets were failing the safety standards with some of them hanging off walls and others not working at all! Cupboard handles were pulled off, the walls need repainting and drawers have dangerous nails sticking out of them. Windowsills were duct taped and window handles were so broken that we thought they would fall off when opening and closing windows. Apart from this, the location is extremely far from the sea, unless you’re happy getting 3 busses. Do have a look at all the photos I’ve attached, because I definitely will not be returning to this place.…
Such a catchy name (Nice Rooms). It mostly fits -- I would go for Clean Rooms instead, since the rooms aren't particularly nice - but they are clean. Spacious and very strange layout. Not entirely sure it should be called a hotel, since the front desk was mostly closed.
We stayed for 4 nights in September and the hotel was perfectly fine. Nice Rooms is on the 210 bus route from the airport (direction Goscinna) and is opposite the stop Wagnera. Buses into town then are every 15 minutes or so and the reception have lists of the buses that pass the hotel too which was very handy. Our room was on the side street and the only problem we had was on one of the nights, when some neighbours were chatting and smoking outside about 3 in the morning. Once we'd shut the windows it was no longer a problem! We found it to be a cheap stay and with a supermarket 200 yards up the road ideal to stock up on food and drink too. We did have to ask for an extra towel for the bathroom floor as 2 big towels weren't quite enough. We would happily recommend Nice Rooms if you want a cheap stay in Gdansk.…
Budget place to stay, we lived there for 2 nights, everything is good. Clean bright room, possibility to move beds, tea in the kitchen, clean linen and towels, bus stop to city center right near the entrans, 2 markets near, very green and quiet place.
Stayed at Nice Rooms for two nights in August. The room was basic, but clean. The walls are paper thin so if you have a room that shares a wall you will hear everything, so could be an issue if you have some loud neighbours. The beds were comfortable however a second pillow would help, there is a tv however ours in room 4 did not work. We stayed when it was 27C during the day and the room stayed rather warm all night without aircon. Old town is a 40 minute walk, downhill in which is fine but the walk back can be long, there is a bus stop outside though. Overall this is a good value for money option if you don't mind being a bit further from the city.
nice rooms.... very clean en suite WiFi TV bus stops out side. market across the road reception staff very friendlyonly 10 mins from city center buses run every 10 mins. night time bus every half a hour
Our room was clean and spacious. Friendly staff. The bathroom (outside from the room) was very clean as well. The hotel is far from the city center but there is a bus station in front so you can go to Gdansk central railway station. A supermarket is very close. Very quiet neighboorhood.
Nice room = Bad room 👎👎 Don't take a night. Find another place too sleep. Dirty bathroom with bad smell. Too Long from centrum. Bus stops near bad room (Nice room) . And good Wi-Fi .find another place 😀😀
Simple rooms, dirty bathroom. Hot and moisty. Beds hard as Stone. No towelchange. The "airwent" in the bathroom was open, filled with spiderweb, also found a spider in the bathroom. Dirty showerhead, we had to desinfect it before showering. Ok, it's cheap, but still there could be some cleaning done. Only one positive thing, WiFi works great.
Pros: cheap, just in front the day and night bus stop to city centre, quite spacious room, clean bed, free parking. Cons: too basic room, totally unequipped bathroom, not working wi-fi, no room cleaning and towel change service, dirty floor, receptionists almost always absents.
