Celestin Residence is a unique place for those seeking comfortable accommodation in a convenient location, in a place where history intertwines with the present. The building was structured in 1577. In this old building, we offer innovative solutions with a high standard in a comfortable way to move visitors into the world of the past. Celestin Residence is located in the picturesque center of the Old Town - just 150 meters from the river Motlawa with numerous attractions to explore. Nice rooms, perfect location & a great breakfast with plenty to choose from. The only downside I’d say is it’s a little bit over priced, I’d definitely stay again however if the pricing was amended slightly.

We arrived past midnight and were greeted by a friendly receptionist. She was, however, the exception, not the norm at this hotel. The rest of the staff were typical of Polish hospitality - just okay. Our room on the ground floor was small but clean. The double bed was pushed against the wall which may prove problematic when 2 people share the bed. Since we were on the ground floor we could hear conversations out on the sidewalk, however, it is in a quiet neighborhood so at night this wasn't a problem. The 2 best things about this hotel are the location and the breakfast. It is an easy walk to Dluga Street through some charming side streets. The breakfast selection was excellent featuring a buffet with a wide variety of cold cuts, cheeses, fresh breads and Polish specialties.
