Stayed in the hotel Bonum for 3 nights. Lovely hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast and great location. Near the square where WW11 started. Near the WW11 museum and near the beautiful river walk. The hotel has 24 hour reception. Would defiantly stay there again.
Stayed here for almost 2 weeks in total. Extended my stay as a result of the cleanliness, good friendly staff & reasonable prices. Only thing I can say negatively is that there is no SPA or pool of any sort.
Our three room party were received with a warm welcome in spite of our late eveningt arrival. We had no worries on this account as the arrivals desk is open 24hrs. The breakfast was of a high standard with attentive staff and the rooms were comfy with a high standard of cleanliness.
First impressions of the hotel were ok checked in fine and looked clean and tidy , downside we asked for some suggestions on where to go for a drink but the receptionist seemed unsure and just gave us a map and one suggestion of which she didn’t write down so by the time we’d dumped our bags in the room and gone out we had forgotten !! Room was clean and tidy and beds were really comfy and crispy clean sheets and towels. Room was a good size for two people and a decent sized shower that again was clean and had plenty of running hot water. We don’t watch much tv on holiday but there usually is the world service on or something but no English channels at all which didn’t worry us so much . The hotel is situated close to the river we and only a short walk from main promenade which was great. Downside the hotel is a little noisy which is beyond the staffs control really walls are thin and you can hear other guests in their rooms . I am a light sleeper so struggled with this a little but didn’t complain as it is not something they can do anything about. Hotel is situated in a housing estate and there was issues with noisy members of the public which again is beyond the hotels control . Overall a nice hotel and we didn’t have any major issues . …
The hotel is a little bit away from the main sights but still close enough to walk back from the city center and get some rest if needed. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood, no bars etc nearby, which was great for a quiet night of sleep. The room was clean and quite spacious. The breakfast was tasty and varied slightly every day. The best part was that you could get fresh eggs (e.g. omelette) and pancaked free of charge. Free parking is offered but the private parking lot is quite small. Overall a great hotel to use as a base for sightseeing trips around the city.
We really enjoyed our stay, was central location. Clean and tidy. Lovely modern rooms and shower. Was close to bakery, so we had pastry with Tea/Coffee for breakfast. Lots of restaurants and café near by. Would recommend and would return.
Stayed in this small hotel for 4 nites. Hotel lovely and very clean, staff friendly and helpful. As situated beside the old town close to all the restaurants , shops and places of interest. We enjoyed the post office museum which was just across the road and as we were leaving mid afternoon spent the morning there before going to the old town for lunch. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Great boutique hotel near the bay area and main tourist attractions. They have free onsite parking and and it is walking distance from restaurants and cafes. Rooms are basic with limited facilities. They have heating but no air conditioning. TV didn’t have any international/English channels. Friendly staff with good customer service. Overall ok for short stay.
Stayed for 2 nights in March. Modern comfortable hotel and rooms, within walking distance of the main square and the river. Reception staff all very friendly and helpful, could not fault this hotel at all. We had an issue with the in-room safe which was very quickly sorted out. Spacious room and bathroom with large walk in shower. Would not hesitate to visit again.
The hotel is just 300 metres away from the river and old town with lots of restaurants, museums and pubs. The hotel itself is a boutique hotel and it is in fantastic condition. Lovely rooms with tv, safe and a fridge. The hotel does not have a bar, however that is not a negative because there are so many pubs, vodka bars and restaurants close by at the river and in the old town to choose from. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful especially Angeli tov (i hope I've spelt it correctly) and Marta. My wife left her phone in a pub and we were due to return home before it opened again. The hotel staff were able to make some phone calls and make arrangements for us to get it back which was fantastic. This was out first time in Poland. Gdansk is a beautiful city with an amazing old town, it has warm friendly people and theres plenty to see and do. I would recommend the Bonum hotel to anyone visiting Gsansk…
