There is this "great" mechanism in doors that starts beeping when someone does not close the door. One morning it was on for about half an hour making it really hard to sleep as walls and doors are paper thin. In my two nights stay I didn't have enough luck to have at least one night of decent sleep. The good side is a location.

Rooms are not big but well organized and with everything needed and clean. Good position, good breakfast. The staff is very friendly and always present. The only minus of the room is that there isn't power socket next to the bed.

I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights while having major dental treatment at a nearby clinic. I was on my own for the first three nights before my partner could join me. Throughout my stay all staff were absolutely superb. I have to give a special mention to the young men and women at reception, they dealt with all of my queries with enormous warmth and generosity of spirit. I couldn't access the internet with my mobile, they sorted it out. I couldn't set the alarm on my phone, they sorted it out. They even took time to wish me well when I set off for my dental surgery. What a wonderful bunch they are. Whatever they are being paid it is not enough. They are a credit to Smart Hotel. The hotel itself is fairly small which is a good thing as far as I'm concerned because the atmosphere is more friendly and the service more personal than in larger hotels where guests can become just a number. The rooms are sparkling clean and the beds are very comfortable. The housekeeping staff are always happy to help as are the restaurant staff. I would highly recommend the breakfast at Smart Hotel too. There is a range of hot and cold foods, fresh fruit, yoghurts, juices, coffee/tea and even cake. Absolutely fabulous and a great start to the day. It is ideally situated with a beautiful shopping mall and train station nearby. The bus to the airport stops just yards from the hotel too. This is a wonderful hotel and was ideal for my needs. I will be in Gdansk again and I will definitely be staying here. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Thanks to all at the Smart Hotel for your kindness and professionalism. I appreciate it enormously.

I come to Gdansk about once every year and stay here. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the linen is super fresh and well presented. Staff during the day and night are super helpful and courteous. The room rate off-season is insanely low ~€25 night, so it's ideal for the budget conscious. The area is about 15 minutes by tram to downtown, 30 minutes by bus to the airport, 10 minutes to Sopot by train, so the location is well connected and also has the Galeria Bałtycka which is still one of the best shopping centres in Gdansk. If you're staying here, ask for a quiet room as sometimes the traffic noise can seem quite loud. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay.

The Hotel is based in a good location beside a big shopping mall, bus stops and train station. The hotel doesn’t have any air conditioning , there also no way to open the balcony as the noise from the roads is sooo loud I guarantee you won’t fall asleep. Then of course people slamming doors at 3 at night with no respect to others. Basically me and my partner haven’t slept the whole time in Gdansk. All staff were very nice apart from one man at the reception that had zero empathy towards the situation we were in.

Stayed with my son for 5 nights. Located near shopping center where you can find a nice places to have your lunch or dinner. Breakfast highly recommended in the hotel. Good choices of cold and hot dishes together with a coffee, tea and juices. Room is small but very cozy and clean. Just perfect for 2 people. Modern style which I really love it. My son wanted to add it that the bed was so comfortable....😱😉👍 All staff (reception, housekeeping and restaurant) are credit to the hotel. Special mention to Marcin from the Reception (I think that was his name: tall with beard and glasses, dark hair), very proffesional and friendly who will go an extra mile to meet your request however as I have mentioned before all the staff are very good. If we visit Gdansk again we will definetely stay there again!👍 I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!

We travel to rest in Gdansk 4 nights and everything was fine. Not so close to the center but there are a lot of transport just to 3 min, and you can move for the city very well. The room was clean, very important in this global situation and the staff was kind and helpful. I totally would recommend to my friends. Thanks!!

Stayed at this hotel for one night only in January, arrived in the middle of the night and reception staff very polite although it was 2am.. Shower room small but adequate. My partner stayed for four nights as he needed to be at appointments close by, same again arrived 2am in the morning, polite reception staff. Room similar to the one before, small but clean and adequate shower room. He ate at the restaurant a couple of time and said the food was very good and inexpensive. Hotel not in centre of Gdansk but railway station only a few minutes walk away and very frequent trains to Gdansk centre and also to the seaside town of Sopot. Would I stay at this hotel, yes definitely. Thank you to the reception staff for printing out his boarding cards and arranging taxis etc.

Ideally placed for our visit, clean and straight-forward service which met all our needs. The main road location is convenient for travel but a touch noisey if the room windows are open, but nothing we couldn't cope with. Overall a good value break.

This very smartly designed and run budget hotel. I think for 100 zlotys signle stay (breakfast additional 30 zlotys) it is one of the best hotel in terms of value to price ratio that I have ever stayed. Surely don't expect luxury. Rooms are small and walls are thin. But they use tight room space very well. In my room small bathroom sink built into was in the shower cabin. I like wallpaper imitating bookcase - it made feel room being bigger than in actually was. Location is not in the center of Gdansk but close to many shopping malls. Breakfast was lot better than I expected. Overall I had great short stay.
