Location and Hotel Right at the marina in Gdansk with the view over parts of the old city and the marina you will find the Marina Club Hotel. The Hotel has a Greek restaurant in which they also serve the breakfast and a spa where you can chose from different kind of relaxing treatments. It is noteworthy that the hotel will offer you a discount, coupon given at check-in, if you spend more than a certain amount. If that is always the case I do not know. The Room The room(74) was nice and airy and quite modern with a great view over the marina and part of the old city. It was furnished with a nice and hard double bed, a desk with chair, a large wardrobe, an armchair, a suitcase stand, a safe, tea and coffee making facilities and a standard size fridge. The bed was nice and hard, just as I like it, and invites for a good nights sleep. The bathroom was of good size. Apart from preinstalled shower gel and hand-wash gel you will however look in vain for other amenities. Well, that's apart from two plastic cups. The lack of amenities didn't bother me as I tend to bring what I need on my travels. Check-in and check-out procedures were swift and informative. The front desk agent, a young man, was very friendly indeed and very service minded. Verdict We stayed here only for one night but it was all very good. Very friendly staff and a really good room for the price paid, and all in walking distance to about every place in the Old Town. Absolutely recommended.…
Modern functional hotel on the fringes of the centre, clean, spacious and pleasant. No real complaints - the place was a bit devoid of character, but couldn't be bettered in terms of practicality, comfort and location. Lovely views from the 7th floor, a shame only to stay the one night.
I visited the hotel with my family and we enjoyed our stay a lot. Location is great, just in the centre of Gdansk marina. You have easy access to all the museums, shops, restaurants and cruises. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. Staff is helpful. Breakfast is very tasty with variety of products: eggs, bacon, cheese, sausage, fruit, vegetables, but also cakes. Rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel also cares about COVID-19 restrictions so you can feel safe there. The only thing I didn’t like was shower- too small and not very handy.
Stayed here over Christmas, staff were very helpful. Fantastic location, upper floor so had a fantastic view. Please just make sure you ask for an apartment if you are expecting self catering facilities, and by the way the facilities were very good. Everything lovely and clean, room restocked and cleaned every day. Our friend stayed in a room next to us and that room had a lovely big fridge with ice box. Would definitely return.
Stayed here recently for a short weekend break. Fabulous hotel in a great position by the canal. 5 minute walk into the old town. We stayed on a room only basis. There’s plenty places nearby for breakfast. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Tea, coffee and bottled water replenished daily. Nice quality toiletries in bathroom. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Gdańsk
Poor check in help, so poor guidance, missing third person assessories (booked room for three but got two beds made only, missing blanket, towel and pillow, etc. After complaining we received a small pack of things in a bag to take It to the room, make our bed, and be happy with it) toilettries still missing
Second visit to this hotel, and we had the same positive experience as last time. Room is actually more a small apartment and well equipped,. If you are lucky as we have been now twice, to get a room with a view to the city center, it is spectacular. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean, and the walking distance is minimal to the center. Will definetly book this hotel also next time.
We stayed here for 3 nites, while in Gdansk. We booked the ApartHotel room that came with a small kitchen. The hotel is about 3 minute walk to the old town. The room had a view of the water, the kitchen included a oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The shower and bathroom was more than big enough. The accommodation cleaned the room everyday to a high standard. There is cheaper accommodation in the old town, but this place is quieter and away from the late night noise of old town and was worth paying that bit extra. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Lovely modern clean hotel in a fantastic location. Great showers and comfy beds. Breakfast choices limited but enough. Tip...chef does great omlettes when asked. Amazingly friendly staff. I would defo reccomend. Enjoy
Cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay at Club Marina in Gdansk was! It was by a long shot the best value for money we have ever experienced as far as hotel stays go. The family suite was massive, spotlessly clean (the whole hotel gave the impression of being brand new, but was apparently put up 4 years ago), dead quiet and super comfortable in every way. High quality and standard throughout, from the bedlinen and bathtowels in the rooms to the cutlery in the restaurant. Our family suite was equipped with a pleasant pantry that even boasted a washing machine. The reception and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly. We didn't see them, but clearly housekeeping are worldclass as you could have eaten off the floors! Breakfast was also really good. Hats off for freshly baked bread! Next time we stay - no doubt in my mind there will be a next time - we may however avoid ordering room service as it comes with a surcharge of 25 Zolty no mattet how small the order (my beer was 12 Zolty...) That said, I cannot but give TOP MARKS to Club Marina Hotel in Gdansk! An affordable, lovely and luxurious hotel!…
