Clean, modern hostel. Excellent location, and 5 mins walk to Hucisko bus stop where one can take the night bus N3 to the airport. Clear instructions were given by email before arrival, and everything worked out well. Just note that the hostel is located on the 2nd and 3rd floor and the building has no lift.

One of the best hostels/hotels I ever been! Perfect location: 2 min from the centre, 5 min from train station ( 30 min on train to the airport for not even a pound!!!). Modern, big room, veery comfortable mattress ( not from the cheap, thick range), room extremely clean! Common room and kitchen fully equipped, very cozy and decorated so nicely with lots of freebie - coffee, selection of teas, sweets, cornflakes.... Staff very friendly, we were allowed to leave our luggage earlier before check in, later we found our suitcases in our room. Also we got lots of maps and information about free guided walk in english. Very highly recommended place....I would rate that much higher then Travelloxxe and Premier Xxx! Well done!

The hostel is very clean and comfortable, and the staff is very helpful. There was a hole on the pillow case, but it doesn't matter. BTW, there are some people packaged their backpacks and chatted at 2am on the second day, just outside of my door, very annoying.

It’s a nice place. Good location, nice views, beds are comfortable enough.
But don’t be fooled by the pretty pictures. For one thing, a lot of little things aren’t being taken care of: electrical outlets don’t work, the security lockers don’t lock (and the ones that do: guess what – they have keys for them), the soap dispenser is empty, the doors are difficult to open.
It's a hostel, and there are pictures of a nice common room. You would assume that by booking a room, you're getting access to the common room. You would be wrong, unless you're paying top dollar. Read the extremely fine print.
And don't expect any help from the rude, demeaning, and unhelpful owner.
Do not recommend.

Do not deal with this hostel. They are rude and lie to you. The manager Joanna agreed to refund me TWICE over the phone but yet in the end said she changed her mind and directed all my enquiries to Booking.com customer service. She was rude on the phone to me and said "why would you want a refund; You cannot buy a coke with 100pln!!" word for word. Appalling people to deal with. Lie to customers. Avoid them. There are so many nice bnbs in Gdansk. And with much better treatment if guests.

This hostel is a fairly new hostel! It is bright and airy with some incredibly dreamy beds. The whole place is clean, crisp and comfortable. The bathrooms include a large mirror, hairdryers and music that plays as soon as the lights turn on!! This hostel has been the better by far out of all the hostels I have stayed at on my trips around Poland. It is also very central, being only a 5 minute walk to Old Town and 10 minutes to the train station.

Clean and eccentrically contemporary inside you have to make your way up three flights of shiny steps to get to the room and cross a communal breakfast / lounge area to get to your room. Its located fairly centrally, though old Gdansk isnt huge. There are no ensuites so you'll encounter other residents on the way to shower and bathroom; we didnt take breakfast. Our triple room was arranged like a train sleeping compartment ( single beds only) up in the steep gable of an old reconstructed Hanseatic house with two tiny windows so got a little stuffy at night - though this was a very hot and sweaty August. The owners clearly have a sense of humour in their choice of industrial - retro fittings and it's quite cool in its uniquely Polish way. The dormitory bunk beds downstairs have a rather alarming window directly off the shower room also visible from reception - surely disconcerting for the unlucky ones sleeping there..!?

This hostel doesn't have any staff. I arrived at the property ringed the bell, called the number on the box outside and there was no answer where I had to find another hostel. The next day I went back around lunch time where I ringed the bell again, no answer. Later in the day, I went to another hostel across the street called Midtown Hostel who were very nice and offered to call 5 Point where they got no answer. All this and I still got charged for the stay! I would warn anyone to find another hostel, the inconvenience is not worth it. I've never had an experience like this in my years of travel.

I waited outside upon arrival, in the dark and cold alone ringing the bell, emailing and calling the property continuously but no one answered. I had even let them know 8 hours in advance of my exact arrival time. Unbelievably upsetting experience.
