Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The only thing I have really enjoyed there is the food. It was honestly very good and well worth the extra cost. The waitresses are very friendly and helpful and simply a delight to deal with, especially Victoria. Employees like her make costumers return.
The reason why I only rate this place 3 out of 5 is that appart from the restaurant there isn't much to look forward to. When I visit a hotel I expect to get a good night sleep I literally had to sleep on the floor to fox my back I'm not sure who took the decision to put mattresses like the ones you have but maybe that person should sleep on them a few night to see that it is a very bad choice. The walls and furniture in the rooms are dirty . Good job to the kitchen and dining room staff but the rest was horrible .

Perfect stay for a family with children - many things are suitable for them here. It was raining outside, so the playing room and a spa zone (swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and kids pool) was very useful! Very good breakfast. The sea is really near. Everything, what you see in the hotel photos, is the same in reality. :)

We've really enjoyed this stay. Everything was perfect, starting from the Staff members, though the food, to the room. The distance to the beach is like 2 minutes of walk which we loved. If no weather there is a swimming pool and fitness centre as well.

I would highly recommend avoiding the place. The room we were checked into had unidentified bugs running through, as well as, some dead ones in the lamp shades and under the carpet. Notifing the stuff resulted in nothing, simmilarly to the hotel manager, who was clearly unfazed despite the real- life and photo evidence.
For the price, way better hotels can be found in Gdańsk, so spare yourself a cozy night with insects.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and we loved. Very spacious apartment on two levels. Very friendly staff. Especially Katerina (lady from SPA) one of the best massages we ever got. Really recommend her. She's also very friendly. The food was ok although we were quite limited as we are vegans. But they made sure we had soya milk for our brekafast. It would have been nice to have a little bit more vegan options. Pool, jacuzzi and saunas very good. Can get busy though and the pool is not very big. Only thing that we really though could be improved is air-conditioning in the apartments as the rooms get extremely hot.

From start to finish this place was fantastic. The room was spacious with two bedrooms. A large living and kitchenette. The breakfast and evening meal was tasty with plenty of choice. The children enjoyed the indoor play room, swimming pool and the outdoor park. We highly recommend and will be visiting again.

The hotel has spacious room that are impeccably clean. The staff is nice and helpful. Unfortunately the price is unreasonably high. In all hotels of the same standard I have ever been to bathrobe, sleepers and essential cosmetics are available in the room. In Golden tulip there is no body lotion or hair conditioner. The pool are is very poor and has an overall feel of a school or public pool. Water in jacuzzi was quite cold too. Breakfast was plentiful with variety of food but not quite great. Especially egg salad was really strange - tasting mostly of mustard. The hotel is 15 min walk from the tram station and then 30 min by tram from the centre. Beach is 150 meters from the hotel so it may be better location in summer.

Hotel is right by the beach and a walkable distance to Sopot but not rally close to Gdansk. I taxi is really required to get into Gdansk.
Room size is amazing with kitchen and dining area for self catering experience.
Only minor snag is the construction works occurring on the site next to the hotel

I use to have something bad to write about in my reviews, but I think this hotel got it all. Me and my wife didn´t miss anything and the facilities were just outstanding. We booked their biggest room type (I guess) - some kind of suite and the room was just excellent.
It´s a short walk to the beach. I guess it must be very crowded there in the summer months but our stay were in May so it was almost empty and very relaxing.
There´s a bus stop at the end of the street from where you can travel to the city centre in Gdansk or Sopot, depending on which way you choose. There´s also a short walk from the hotel to the tram stop "Jelitkowo".
They have a spa centre (included in the price) and it´s also really nice.
Just go there if you want to take it easy with your partner or your family.
You should know it´s much closer to Sopot city centre even if you think you´ve booked a hotel in Gdansk.
