Stayed 7 nights with a large group, 34 in total. Rooms clean & the hostel is slowly in the process of being upgraded. This time the WiFi reach was greater & the new curtains met in the middle! The catering has also improved, had 4 evening meals there. There is a tram stop round the back, 20 minutes to Gdansk & about the same to the airport. The station is also round the back. Staff helpful & spoke English. We have stayed there 4 times & will definitely stay there on our next visit.
Floor in the room was dirty, when you walk in the hall only in sandals without socks you feel dirt on your feet. The light in toilette stops in e few seconds, and you have to stand up nad wave hands to turn in on. Staff is rude, ask to fix the it, answers multiply problems than help. Absurdal extra fee for being in the room in time beetween 10-15. Kitchen hoorify - there is only mickrowave on the floor, no stove, no cutlery like spoon to eat a soup, no fork, no pot to cook anything, kitchen is big and nothing in it! Problem with breakfest - they take monay, but forgot to order a meal, and have no breakfast.
Really enjoyed our stay here. One of the cleanest hostels I've seen in a long time. Not to mention I don't remember the last time such a cheap stay included breakfast! Our 2 person room with bathroom even included a TV! They have special student rates. It's a bit out of the way from the city excitement but one tram or bus takes you there in no time. By the way, you may be interested to know there's a huge field next to the hostel in case you need some running room.
