Hotel is in a good location and walkable to most attractions. Service on the front desk was good and we were promptly checked in. Rooms a good size and has a mini fridge, tea coffee etc. The shower was good and powerful and plenty of hot water. Wifi worked very well. Can recommend "Prologue" restaurant which is two mins walk... Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is nice and modern, staff are friendly and courteous and the rooms are comfortable. The major issue is that the wifi is absolutely terrible/useless - so if you need to do business you'll need to use your phone.

We had a 3 night stay and thoroughly enjoyed this hotel- especially for the price with breakfast-excellent value! I requested a room with a balcony and that's exactly what we got! The room is not huge but modern and totally adequate. The bed is comfy and bathroom very nice with a powerful shower. The glass door was off putting as... More

The hotel is well situated. Out of the busy section but within 5 mins walk of everything. The area is being redeveloped with the building of a new museum about World War ll. It looks like an interesting building, due to open next year I believe. We had a lovely large room on the 3rd floor, quiet location as we... More

We got a great deal on the Grand Cru and were not disappointed. The room was of a good size, very clean with a comfy bed. The door to the shower room is frosted glass so may not be ideal for all but was a bit quirky and looked good. The hotel is just a few minutes walk away from... More

The Grand Cru is a charming conversion of an old warehouse building on the riverfront. It is quite attractive and in a good location. There is some heavy construction in process all around the hotel but that's not unusual in a thriving historic location. The hotel is a stylish, bargain hotel on the higher-end of 'bargain'. Our room on the... More

I spent a pleasant the nights with my partner but have to say I was underwhelmed. It may be because if expectation or comparing the hotels to others at lower prices but nonetheless I wouldn't rush back. The hotel is beautifully clean and staff were never less than fantastically helpful. However, the fabric of the hotel itself would equate more... More

As had already been said this is a very good standard hotel in a good location for the old town. Has a small gym and sauna but we didn't use these. Downstairs is a bar/restaurant and we found the drinks to be very reasonably priced. The room was modern with frosted glass sliding doors separating the bedroom and bathroom. Only... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Cru. The rooms have a very modern feel with a fantastic bathroom. the location is really convenient with the historic centre only 10 minutes walk along the river bank. the breakfast had plenty of choice and you can request freshly cooked omelette/scrambled eggs.
