Just had a weekend break at the Admiral hotel, the location is superb right in the centre of everything about a minute walk from the river and about 10 minutes walk from the railway station and shopping centre. The hotel rooms are modern, comfortable and spotless clean with a really good bathroom. The hotel staff are friendly, professional and efficient. The hotel breakfast has a good choice of items to suit most tastes. We got a taxi from the airport to the hotel which cost about £11. Overall this hotel offers great value for money and is worth considering if planning a trip to Gdańsk.
Good location. Breakfast good. Rooms spacious and clean. Public areas a bit grim - some background music and nice lighting would make the reception area so much nicer. The bar wasn't very inviting (especially as all the spare chairs were stored outside the bar area). The steam room and sauna was closed for maintenance when we went there, so couldn't comment on that. Overall, however, it was a good value hotel in a great location - I'd happily stay there again if I returned to Gdansk.
lovely break overshadowed by the assassination of the local mayor at the concert we were present at. however the hotel was clean and convenient situated.staff were pleasant but the only way to describe the breakfast is adequate and i am being kind.no toaster and hot food always in need of being replenished so only warm, cold food also in constant need of replenishment.you had to wait or ask for a lot of standard things, but it did not cost us a lot and it may be the case you get what you pay for.we stayed at the gdansk hilton last time and yes it cost more but it was a step up in class and is in the same location
We used the hotel for a weekend trip. The hotel is close to the river in the old town. It has a maritime style which we appreciated. The rooms were really fresh and kept fresh. We had a delicate breakfast. The service in the hotel was quick and friendly. To be honest - the bar was closed - but there were many others in short walking distance as well as fine restaurants.
This hotel was very comfortable. We had comfortable beds. It is within walking distance of the city’s main shopping and dining street. There is a carousel nearby close to this hotel, which is located a couple blocks away.
Great little hotel centrally located with easy access to Main Street and World War 2 museum no need to use public transport to get around. The hotel staff are all very helpful and they serve a good choice at breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel and Gdańsk for a long weekend.
We had to hunt for waittress in the hotel restaurant coz no service were given automatically. Our room was cleaned every day though we requested not to. We preordered taxi via hotel reception with specific agreed amount. Hotel reception charged extra fee from us while leaving without informed us in the moment of beforehand price negotiations. We never find out reason for this extra fee.
Super location at old town and end of street. ;)) Nice, helpful staff, even borrow umbrella if its rainy weather. Very taisty various breakfast and nice area. Bonus sauna and spa. Sleeping silence okey and big bathroom. Worth of value !!
Very comfortable nice hotel. Big room with big bathroom. The location near old town but at the bottom street so this is quiet. There is near to the most important places in the town. In the evening you can walk aroun the river. The breakfast is varius: fruits, different cakes, chesses, hams, vegetables, bread, jougurts something for warm meal. And hot chocolate! You will be satisfied staying there.
The hotel is well located for visiting Gdańsk easy walking to the old town ,Second World War museum,European Solidarity museum and most attractions. The room was good size clean ,breakfast was fine and all the staff where fine, I would use again
