Nice, spacious room and good location. Many good restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. Very kind staff. But no WiFi in the room during the five days we spent at these hotel. They tried to fix it, but without luck.
Very nice stay, warm and welcoming rooms nice and functional lovely hot showers. Weather was awful cold and wet so a nice place to go back too. Breakfast was quite nice but one slow toaster was inadequate for so many people, things could have been replenished sooner but coffee was good. Reception staff friendly and helpful but limited English. Overall a good stay
Stayed here with a friend for our first visit to Gdansk. The staff are all very courteous. Rooms are clean and furnished well. Bathrooms are clean. Our only complaint was that the pillows were lumpy. In defence to the hotel we did not complain whilst we were there, if we had this comment could have been rectified. So we should not complain I thought I would just make the comment. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice, fresh ingredients.
We spent three nights at this hotel and were impressed with the friendly, helpful staff, large airy room we were allocated and the array of food at the breakfast buffet. The hotel was perfectly located for exploring Gdanske and we would certainly stay at The Admiral if visiting this Polish city again.
Excellent hotel just 2 minutes stroll to the river and it's plethoria of bars, restaurants, amber shops and all the sites of this beautiful city. Hote very comfortable serving excellent food especially the breakfasts
This hotel has perfect location and excellent service. Sorry for waking up the staff in the middle of the night, but how they delivered beer and wine is just a buty. Nice rooms and good breakfast. We will come back !
This is a fantastic value, modern hotel situated right in the heart of the old town. It has a real quality feel to all aspects of the building. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with lovely modern bathrooms. Our room was very quiet with barely a sound from neighboring rooms. The breakfast has a really good choice of all the usual categories of food and drinks. Finally the staff were so helpful, giving us directions to nearby attractions and looking after our luggage the following day whilst we went for lunch. Highly recommended.
The hotel is close to the river front and close to the old town, it is in a quiet neighbourhood. the rooms were very clean and very comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities. the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with lots of variety, the bar is down stairs (lift access) and cozy, we found it quiet but it is in the middle of winter. There is a restuarant in the hotel but we didnt try it.
This is a great hotel on the edge of the old town in Gdansk and within easy walking distance of lots of restaurants and most of Gdansk's attractions. The hotel is on a quiet street, so no problems with noise. Glowny railway station, where the airport shuttle bus stops, is about a 20 minute walk away. Our room was very spacious and, like the rest of the hotel, very clean. The breakfast was included and there was a good range of hot and cold items to choose from. The bar is downstairs but was very quiet when we were there (mid week late January). Would definitely stay at the Admiral again when in Gdansk.
A wonderful hotel, situated just on the edge of the Old Town. An ideal place to stay... We stayed there for a week recently and were delighted with our room, the ever-helpful staff on reception, and the whole ambience of the hotel. It was early February and snowing outside, but the welcome was warm and friendly. Great breakfast too, included in a very reasonable rate for a 4 star hotel. This is the place to stay in lovely Gdansk - convenient, helpful, luxurious and stylish. Thanks, Hotel Admiral - we will be back!
