Artus Hotel is located in the heart of Gdansk, nearby the biggest tourist attractions the city has to offer. Just outside the hotel is the Dluga street, where you can see a magnificent Neptune fountain, the city hall, Artus manor and St. Mary`s Basilica, which is considered the biggest sanctuary made fully out of brick in the world. It is guaranteed that we try our best to make the guests feel like home. Stylish interior design of the hotel provides comfort and coziness. The perfect location, which is definitely something to be jealous of, is an undeniable advantage of the hotel. Staying in Hotel Artus you get to visit the greatest sights of Gdańsk on foot. It is also the reason why we are often chosen as a perfect place to organize training courses, conferences and other events organized by companies from all over Europe. Highly not recommend! Didn’t sleep all night because of the loud church bell that rang all night long within 1 hour interval (their clock or so). Windows don’t have any noise isolation so you literally hear everything from streets. I don’t understand how people can be so stupid ringing bells during the night time.

Loved this hotel - the location and the room. Stayed for 5 days after initially booking for 3 and the sfaff were very accomodating.. The location was superb opposite the cathedral and the bells only added to the ambiance.

Fantastically located in the beautiful city, throughly enjoyed our stay here back in January, would highly recommend to anyone who asks. Just bare in mind, the church bells ring loudly every hour and the church which was right across from our bedroom often woke us at early hours. Not a criticism as such, and if you ask for a quieter room maybe you won’t get the wonderful views that we did. None the less though, prepare for those bells and bring some earphones with you!

I stayed here for a few nights whilst on business. The staff are helpful, polite and professional. The hotel itself is reasonably modern and very central, located right next to the cathedral. I stayed in a ground floor room with single glazed windows which meant that I got no sleep due to the bars and drinkers nearby, which in hindsight was to be expected. For a tourist the hotel would tick a lot of boxes with a reasonable price and great location. But for someone on a business trip, there are better hotels for the same/less money. For example, the breakfast buffet starts at 07:30 which is very late imho. Most hotels start breakfast at 06:30 which gives business travellers a chance to have some breakfast before leaving for the day. The quality of the buffet was fantastic but I didn't have the time to enjoy it because I only had 5-10 minutes for breakfast. So if you're visiting Gdańsk for fun and don't need much sleep, Artus is perfect. If you're on business or like sleep - choose somewhere else. If management read this, I'd suggest starting breakfast on weekdays from 06:30 to accommodate business guests otherwise you are writing off 50% of potential customers.

Booked Hotel Artus after a visit to Gdansk earlier in the year. We visited Mon Balzac cafe bar which is attached to the hotel and thought I would book the hotel when I returned later in the year. Hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I’ve read reviews regarding the church bells but they didn’t bother us at all. Food is good at the Mon Balzac cafe bar attached to the hotel. Hotel Artus is very well located in the old town. The main square is just round the corner, literally a minutes walk. The river is just at the end of the street with bars and restaurants.

This hotel has a top location, downtown old Gdansk. But need to get get aircondition. Keeping the windows open to get some air, you got all the partysound until 03. o clock. On top of that the church plaey every half hour. We had a comfort doubble room. But there was no sitting group as expected from the net confirm. Beds was ok if you kept your self in the middle of each bed. Otherwice you would fall out. Dark ligthned bathroom. Nothing in minibar. But the had a very nice restaurant in a sidedoor. Who served top breakfast and food. The hotel got to be renivated a bit. And the staff in reception has to look up a bit behind the desk.

Our stay got I big suprise when we heard church bells for the first time. The sounds was so loud thatI had to check if the windows were open. I was wrong.. So if you want to sleep pick a different hotel. Beds were also little bit akward. Two good things were the breakfast and the room inside decor.

This hotel was kind of what you would expect from the price of it. It's a cheap hotel with a very good location and some lesser good things too. It's located between two kind of loud churches so if that is something that might disturb you while trying to sleep I wouldn't recommend it. There was no air condition in my room but the room itself was quite spacious (and there was a fan and possibility to open windows). I would recommend it if you're not bothered by the church bells, and don't expect to be at Hilton. It's a good deal if you just want somewhere to stay without being disappointed.
