Detailed Reviews
I stayed at the property for one night and was pleasantly surprised. It is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with good access to Gdansk. The property has plenty of free parking. The lobby isn't extremely inviting but it is clean and tidy. The rooms are larger than average with a comfortable bed, quality linen and towels, a ceiling fan, good cable TV selections, wifi, a mini frig with mini bar, ample closet space, nice sized bathroom with shower. Everything was very clean and orderly. Breakfast was included in the rate that I booked and it was excellent with a wide variety of options and some of the best coffee. I did notice that there did not appear to be any air conditioning in the room so the property could be uncomfortable in the summer heat. Furnishings and overall decor are a little dated, but in very good condition. Also, there was some noise from the hallways so its not very soundproof. However, all and all, its an excellent property with friendly professional staff and a good value.

If you are coming by train, there are numerous buses that depart from the central train station. The buses will take you within five minutes of the hotel.
Buses 130, 131, 184, 199 and 210 get off at the fourth bus stop Focha 02, as you leave the bus turn to the left, same direction bus is travelling. As you start to walk, look to the left and up and you will see the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet area, only a grocery store is available.
Check-in was fast and reception friendly. I had requested an upper floor and was placed on the top floor #3.
The room was nicely done, with all the amenities one could ask for. Comfortable bed, wifi, TV, mini bar, in room safe. The bathroom was immaculate very tidy and clean. Water pressure in the shower was very good.
The hotel has a very nice dining room, it is open for breakfast and dinner. The morning breakfast buffet was good. The evening menu was excellent with many choices all delicious, and dessert well, save room for it.
I recommend this hotel, a nice stay and the prices are reasonable.

I cannot praise this hotel enough. There were so many hidden features and facilities that I really started to appreciate them when other hotels lacked it. The rooms are nice with shower caps and a safe. There is a lovely leafy conservatory area, hot bath and even smoking room. The breakfast was great and varied and there was even Prosecco if that is your thing. The hotel is situated 3 bus ride from the city center but it is also walkable distance and the hotel offers free parking which is great. I really enjoyed staying there

Hotel was a bit out from the City Centre and needed a taxi to get there. Check-in no problem, room was a bit small and very dated but you only sleep there so so problem. Kettle provided and plenty of storage space. Breakfast was continental and had some unusual offerings. Staff all very friendly had helpful. Spa was cheap and good they don't provide massages etc, but it had steam rooms, loungers, cold water spray - unfortunately the jacuzzi was broken when I went. Taxis can be order from reception into town and didn't wait longer than 5 minutes - although we found out later that they had Uber and was a fraction of the cost of the local taxes. Day trip to Sopot, which has the longest pier, sandy beach. We took a boat back to Gdansk would recommend.

Located close to the Gdansk main train station. lady at the reception was friendly and helpful. My room was on the top floor, by the lift, so it was loudish. Bed was comfortable, only one small pillow provided - I was a solo traveller, but it was odd...

Staff were brilliant, the rooms very comfortable, hotel very clean, and an excellent breakfast. Hotel is about a mile from the centre, but an easy walk, or a regular bus service. Nothing to fault, great value, and highly recommended.

Hotel was nice, accessible - but not in the center of things, I think well spaced out rooms complemented the new feel of the place. We've had a great view of the sea in the far from our triple room on the third floor. Though the room could be a little wider, it was nice.
Staff was "Disney"-like professional. Many of the staff spoke English, actually quite well, and receptionists were very nice and patient. Short call to the reception would get things done quickly if you need some assistance. Lunch boxes for early departing guests was a nice touch.
Restaurant is quite small, but very nice, and food seems to be quite decent and very reasonably priced. Their breakfast buffet was very delicious and plentiful (included in price in our case.)
Word of warning ... this place gets hopping on weekends. Hotel Amber apparently rents out space for wedding receptions on weekends, and since Polish weddings tend to last whole night, you might have problem falling asleep through muffled thumps of the music. 3rd floor wasn't too much of the problem in the end, but some more soundproofing would be nice.
Overall nice stay, and if not for the loud music at night, it would be a 5.

Outside of Old Town Gdansk but still within a walkable distance, about 20 minutes. Quiet neighborhood. Supermarket across the street. Clean, quiet rooms, some with a balcony. Nice breakfast buffet with several Polish dishes including fish dishes and sweet items. Friendly staff. All in all a very good hotel for a tourist who does not want to spend a fortune on a room but wants to sleep and eat decently.

First of all i review hotels according to their stars, in this case it means that its way more then a 3 star hotel. The staff is very good. The rooms are really good size, beds ok zise but real god matrasses. Clean everywhere. Good amentitis, free coffe/tea/water and also a minibar Wifi ok. Nice common verandas. Close to public transport.
So to the things that make this hotel something extra.
Breakfast in 3-4 star hotels can be a great dissapointment, this hotel had hands down the best breakfast i have seen in eastern europe, the only small flaw was that they only had 2 juices, but overal way beyond expectations.
The jacuzzi area. Real nice jacuuzzi are which you pay 20 zloty to be in ( apx 5 euros/dollars) Relaxing beds steam bath jacuzzi etc.

So many hotels look just the same but here is one that is different with free-standing furniture in the bedroom. Well situated for (cheap) buses into town and on a direct route from the airport, though that can get crowded with cases. The buffet breakfast has an astonishing range of dishes on offer and these are constantly refreshed when necessary by the efficient, but not intrusive, staff. The choice of evening meals is of moderate size but the quality is good and interesting.

of course
There is a bus every few minutes. A 2-minute walk away.
If I am not mistaken the price of travel is 1.3 zloty.
An adult over 70 pays half the price
Hope I helped
