We came on a very crowded weekend, and this hotel did not live up to the promises. We stayed in the actual hotel section of the property not an apartment. The mattress and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. They put us next to the children's playroom which opens about 8 am- even on a Saturday and Sunday. There was ZERO sound insulation so we were woken at 7 am by vacuuming in the hallways and then kept awake by banging and screaming of children- we could not even nap as the playroom was crowded and open all day. We were not a last-minute booking but they still gave us this room as the hotel was obviously oversold. One positive is that it was clean. There is no lobby space as the lobby is converted to a restaurant and children's play area with video games. It may be a kid-friendly hotel but it is not a rest-friendly hotel. You can save your money and book a less fancy-looking accommodation and just spend it at a real spa instead, especially as you will need to book a slot in the spa area if they have any open.

The swimming pool was a big plus for me along with sauna and steam room. I used it twice a day was later was told guests can only it once! The food at breakfast and dinner (included in rate) was good albeit the dinner menu was limited to four starters and one main course (plus cake of the day for dessert). It is not made clear that inclusive dinners have to be taken by 20.00 - the restaurant is open to 10.00 pm - although I was served on two occasions later than this but the manager intially refused me service when I came late on my final night. However he kindly relented and offered a no-choice starter and main course! All -in-all, good value for money albeit the location is a little away from the old town.

Rooms are clean. Bed creaky for children. Air conditioning not working. Dinner was a mockery. Few meals from a dinner. For dinner you have to pay to order tea or coffee. Swimming pool was located in the building next to the hotel, which is also not comfortable.

The staff was very kind and helpful. They really made my stay pleasant. This is more important than the physical conditions. We can always improve them, change the old parts, replace etc.Human touch and connection is the most important thing.
