This is one of places you can always count on. Not overloaded with fancy-pancy stuff, simple, but all needed is in place. Quiet area with no traffic, close to shore, easy access to restaurants and beautiful walking area. Nice for staying with family as well. Good breakfasts. Big parking and easy access to transport. Everything you need to enjoy staying in Gdansk.
The location is right next to the sea, midway between Gdansk and Sopot, There is no vehicle traffic around it and this helps having a silent area. It has own parking, great and fresh food in the restaurant. Breakfast is included in the room rate. It has a very nice garden in front, where you can have barbecue or just leave your kids play. Beach chairs are for free and the entry to the beach is just across the pedestrian way. Better yet, you can rent bicycles and have a ride either way, to Sopot or Gdansk. Rooms are large enough, fridge and tea making available.
I had a great 4 nights stay at this wonderful hotel. I was impressed a lot with its service & hospitality. Interiors of the entire building the rooms, the lobby, and the reception were great. Property is very clean and nicely maintained. No complaints about the room, it was just superb. Everything needed was present. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of hot and cold items. I would love to visit this place again.
You should expect Lido to be rather a hostel than a hotel, but the location is more than good because of near the Gdansk's pier and beach. Unfortunately, the restaurant is not as good as it wants to be. Several shops nearby will let you spend the evening at low cost.
