Delicious and varied breakfasts (from 07:00 to 11:00) are served in the Rękawiczka restaurant, which can be reached on the ground floor, opposite the reception - no need to go outside. In the evening it is convenient and tasty to drink good wine, I recommend Polish homemade - it exceeded our expectations.
Very nice staff, clean and warm rooms.
Honest *** +, i.e. more than three stars. Thanks to the staff, we will be back :)
However after a late night flight we arrived around 11pm. The first thing we noticed was the noise from the surrounding bars and clubs, we went in anyway thinking that the hotel must have sound proofing.
The check in process was fine and we were given the key to our room.
Again the room was ok, very basic, pillows very flat, bed covers small.
The noise continued, it was so Loud we could have been in the bar. The hotel had put ear plugs in the room by the bed, so are clearly aware of the issue.
I contacted the receptionist to ask if there was another 'quieter' room available, which they weren't. By this time it was nearly 1am we were both tired from travelling and desperate to enjoy our anniversary trip.
We decided at this point to move hotels as we didn't want to risk the noise and no sleep for 5 nights. We packed up, got dressed and moved across town at 1am.
The reception staff were unable to provide a refund at this point so we said we would return I the morning to speak to the manager.
We returned the next morning no manager or owner available and left to the poor receptionist to deal with.
We were offered a voucher! Are you actually kidding !!! Why would we want a voucher to return to this awful place? We were told you can give it to friend, oh wait a minute, we will put our friends through this too.
We said we were happy to pay for the night we had arrived and the next night but we were offered nothing.
The communication with the hotel has been awful and we haven't even received an apology.
On top of this they are now lying to booking.com staring they offered us another room, I can assure you they did not, that is why we left.
Just inside the entrance to old town so a great location for exploring the city. Close to bars, restaurants, the Forum shopping centre and close to transport links too.
The room was perfect for our needs, comfortable and clean. Good complimentary toiletries and bottled water. We had a room for 3 and it was kind of 2 rooms within a larger room (the bedrooms separated by the bathroom.
All the people on reception were friendly and very helpful. There’s a linked restaurant on the ground floor which is very good too and you get a discount voucher with your too .
Great hotel, fab location, reasonable price, we would definitely stay here again.
But the noise is something that is almost unbearable. I’ve travelled to many places where at some point there is a curfew. This does not seem to be the case here. The first night, it is 3:38 am, and there seems to be no site to the end if the loud music. It’s Saturday. So I’m awake and writing this review. My hope is that this excessive loud music is exceptional because it’s Saturday night. Crossing my fingers. Getting hungry so looking forward to breakfast! Good morning.
The town is lovely. Getting around is easy.
… heading to Sopot today.
The hotel is well decorated and reception staff were friendly enough and helpful. Check in was quick, our room was big enough for four of us, nice view of Old Town and had a large bathroom with shower. Small fridge in room and safety deposit box.
There was plenty to choose from at Breakfast and the pastries and cakes were delicious. One of the male staff at Breakfast wasn't very friendly or helpful but only a minor detail.
If we were to visit again we would definately stay here.
"Have cash for taxi they do ask if it’s card or cash but then seem to change their minds and say cash only and charge what they want!"Read full review
