We had a great stay at this lovely small historic hotel. It's in a fabulous old building that is basically a physical part of the beautiful city gate, and so is obviously extremely close to everything in the fascinating historic area. Our room was plenty nice and all the staff was friendly enough and helpful as well. We honestly expected more pedestrian noise than we actually got. Everything calmed down pretty early and we were able to sleep just fine. Overall, the Liberum was great considering their reasonable rates, especially when you factor in the traditionally bounteous Polish hotel breakfast they have.
Perfect location, nice old fashioned brick design mixed with modern. Clean hotel with great customer service. WiFi included in the price.Things like mini bar and air-conditioning instead of a small fan would be appreciated to get 5/5.
Excellent value for money and excellent location. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We booked a room with air conditioning and there was a mix up when we arrived but was all sorted really quickly. Comfy bed and plentiful hot water. We will be back.
Lovely hotel, room was good, and water and fridge provided was welcome, and also tea/coffee provided as well. Staff were all helpful, Breakfast was good, lots of choice, We ate at the restaurant , food , wine cocktails lovely. We also booked a taxi with them from airport, and all went to plan, waiting in arrivals for us, so we also booked a taxi to take us back, so this is a good service, and good price.we were in a room that had a courtyard, and the heating ducts, you could hear, but not that you couldnt sleep, and we had window open, so although as mentioned in other posts, yes there is earplugs provided, but you dont need them. At least they provide them, as not many hotels do not., so take that lightly. It is a city, and a wonderful one at that.So if you are going to Gdansk, this hotel is well worth booking, .Perfect.…
This wonderful hotel was perfect for our recent trip to Gdansk. I had to work every day at my client's office, and could step outside the hotel and get my Uber every morning 30 seconds away. My wife explored the whole city center on foot during the days and had a great time. In the evenings we could stroll through the charming and immaculately clean city center and choose from what seemed like a hundred restaurants. The breakfast was pretty good for myself (an English breakfast fanatic) and both of the WiFi hookups worked perfectly. There were a few bumps, but these were easily overcome. The street below was loud with revelers late into the night, but closing the window blocked most of the noise. I never got around to needing the earplugs provided for more sensitive folks. The heater was a bit over-active at first, but the fellow at the desk came up and fixed that, and the bed was somewhat softer than I usually like but by the second night I was accustomed to it and slept quite well. In general I liked the room better than those in some of the five-star places we've stayed. The reception desk personnel were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and even arranged for a 5AM box lunch on the morning of our departure. All in all we really liked this hotel and will not even look at other possibilities for our next trip to Gdansk in a few months.…
