I have heard many complaints about noise and I wonder, if you do not want to have any noise around, I think it is better to find a place at Bialowesa Forest away from a port city like Gdansk, but if you direct your critical view to the amazing location this hotel offers, why don't we focus on the modern design of this hotel that combines past and present, why don't we pay attention about the fabulous service offered by the very efficient team. I am completely happy to have hosted at Liberum, and I am sure I will be back and totally recommend this place to any traveller. I am from the Tourism Industry and this will be always on my mind if I need to recommend a perfect stay in the city.
The hotel was located in the hot spot. Close to everything. The people in the reception was very friendly and serviceminded. The room was clean, and the only reason for not giving full score was that there was a scent of strong parfyme that stayed in the room. The breaksfast was good and had glutenfree alternatives. I would stay here again!
We travelled here with our 4year old For the Christmas market for 3 nights and it was the perfect location. We had a lovely spacious 2 bedroom room right in the middle of the market, in the gorgeous old town. Location could not have been better, the hotel was child friendly, very reasonable and the breakfast is definitely worth paying for, it was a great varied selection.
I REALLY want to say I love this hotel ! The location is absolutely fantastic esp for Xmas market & sightseeing in the old town, the cleanliness is outstanding & the staff at reception very helpful. Breakfast off the menu good, but coffee was lukewarm. We loved the decor of the hotel. However, if I was to be constructively critical I would add : 1. This hotel uses memory-foam mattresses, I slept only 1 night in 3, after someone told me to sleep in the gap, I found this better. 2. The bed, if travelling alone is equipped with 1 very small & I would say inadequate single duvet & 1 decent pillow , it gets cold at night. I was grateful for a fluffy throw (provided). 3. The hotel provided earplugs- I took my own & needed them! If you are unfortunate enough to have a room like mine, overlooking the alley, you will get woken very early by bin men & the laundry truck (5:30am) - if you go when the Xmas market opens, the music may disturb you, as will people walking around / shouting in the early hours. The former was not really an issue for me. 4. My room had no safe & no chair / sofa - my friend had both & we paid the same- she also had a lovely quiet room! I’d stay again, but I’d ask for a room in a different location. Good value for money & you couldn’t get closer to the market & golden gate!…
You couldn’t really get a better location in Gdańsk. The lady working in reception was welcoming and helpful. I love that the lift has see through glass as you go up - fantastic for those claustrophobic amongst us! The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. Great value, definitely recommend for your trip.
Such a nice place to stay for 5 days. Great location, pleasent and helpful people to deal with in the reception. Super bathroom and room, spacious and beautifully scented with cleanness. Very wide range of food in the menu at the hotel restaurant. We would come back again with no doubts.
Hi I spend one nite in Liberum Residence. Hotel offer simpel but clean and nice rooms. Breakfast was actually good and tasty. Hotel located on the beginning of Długa street which is a man street of Old town-perfect location. Big shopping mall is Located 5min away from Hotel also many small lokal stores u can fine in near by
The location is perfect. This is the beginning of the old town, the main street Dluga is just around the corner, but there are no crowds in front of the hotel. Downtown within walking distance, to the canal waterfront 10 minutes. Near many restaurants, many grocery stores of the inexpensive network Zabka (recommended). Also 10 minutes walk to the main train station, from where you can easily get to Malbork, Sopot, etc. Delicious and varied breakfasts (from 07:00 to 11:00) are served in the Rękawiczka restaurant, which can be reached on the ground floor, opposite the reception - no need to go outside. In the evening it is convenient and tasty to drink good wine, I recommend Polish homemade - it exceeded our expectations. Very nice staff, clean and warm rooms. Honest *** +, i.e. more than three stars. Thanks to the staff, we will be back :)…
We had a great stay at this lovely small historic hotel. It's in a fabulous old building that is basically a physical part of the beautiful city gate, and so is obviously extremely close to everything in the fascinating historic area. Our room was plenty nice and all the staff was friendly enough and helpful as well. We honestly expected more pedestrian noise than we actually got. Everything calmed down pretty early and we were able to sleep just fine. Overall, the Liberum was great considering their reasonable rates, especially when you factor in the traditionally bounteous Polish hotel breakfast they have.
Perfect location, nice old fashioned brick design mixed with modern. Clean hotel with great customer service. WiFi included in the price.Things like mini bar and air-conditioning instead of a small fan would be appreciated to get 5/5.
