Sadova is always my first choice for accommodation in Gdańsk , I’ve been there many times and they never failed. Nothing is too much trouble and all members of staff are always happy to help. Special rewards for customer service to front office team especially Benia, Karolina & Eryk.
We tjekkede out after over night Even we payed for 4 nights. Not in the center of the city. At all! Strange atmosfære. Vera small beds! Me and My son coudnt be in one. Very loud and Strange music in the dining area. Only cold water in the showers in the dressing room by the pool. So you couldnt wash off and wash your hsir after swimming Only one menu card for both lunch and dinner. No meet, sold out. The bar closed at 22 Even if it says 24 .... Cold air in hairdryer. Not a four star hotel at all.
We stayed here for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in beautiful Gdańsk. The Hotel Sadova is smart and centrally located, just a few minutes walk from the heart of the old town. The reception area is very attractive and modern; the staff were helpful and efficient. Initially we felt our superior grade room was rather underwhelming - a bit plain and lacking, somehow. Saying that, it was spacious and comfortable. On the last morning there was no hot water - we think that may have been due to a big influx of guests and that we got up later than usual. This shouldn’t really have happened. We used the pool and sauna - very good and relaxing. We had a drink of cider in the hotel’s Cider Garden Restaurant. It’s an attractive place and although we didn’t eat there, the menu looked appetising and reasonably priced. We loved the breakfasts at the hotel - very fresh and generous. The breakfast room is attractive and comfortable, although the Muzak each morning got a bit annoying. We had a great time in Gdańsk and could have quite happily stayed a few days longer. Overall we can recommend the Sadova Hotel.…
3 friends from London booked a week at the Sadova in Gdansk last week. It was a wonderful holiday. The hotel is a 5 minute easy stroll from Dlugi Targ- the centre of Gdansk. It was spotlessly clean, with a superb breakfast. The rooms were clean and roomy with comfortable beds. 50 tv channels. The area is very quiet. There is adequate secure parking . They have bikes for hire, and provide umbrellas in the rooms, fluffy robes and slippers. There is a really delightful warm pool, and a well equipped gymn. The young staff are efficient, intelligent, and good at solving problems- they sorted out a car hire problems for us effortlessly. This is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed at in Poland, and we have been coming for the last 15 years all over the country.
In the last month I was a guest of the hotel twice - each time my stay was fantastic - I highly recommend. Great localisation, modern decor , swimming pool is great bonus and absolutely amazing breakfast! Hotel staff very nice and helpful, in particular thanks to the reception team : Karolina, Benia & Ania - nothing was too much trouble for them. Will definitely come back in near future.
Whenever I spend my time in Gdańsk, Sadova is my number one. The men and women at the front desk were very accommodating and also adhered to all precautions related to COVID-19 restrictions. They were very professional and helpful in answering any questions I had. Thanks again to everyone for being great hosts! Maybe the prices could be adjusted as breakfast was limited and the spa is closed. Aside from this little suggestion, Sadova is still my number one.
We booked this Hotel during a roadtrip because we wanted to stay in town and still have some recreation-time. The rooms and the breakfast are ok, no less or more. But the pool is tiny and was full of families with small kids, loud an crowded, inmidst Covid-19... no personell, no restrictions. The „Sauna“ is in this room, absolutely loud an not a sauna, but an infrared-cabin. We still tried using it, but it was broken. So was the shower.... we asked the reception for help, but they didn’t work out anything than telling us to use the remaining heat (40 degrees Celsius“).... no manager, no technitian, no one knowing how the thing is even switched on and off... I announced that I would like to officially complain and was asked to return the next morning, when the manager would be in the house. So we stayed an hour longer than we planned to. No one had informed him about our problem and when we asked to speak to hi. We were told, he was in an meeting. That would have been no problem, if ANYONE in the hotel would have been able t reply to our complaint, but every lady told us, only the manager could help. In the end we got a boat with a bottle of Italian wine an some German cheap chocolate. We are from Germany, not much of a help for a very annoying evening instead of a nice one in a spa....…
The bed is rather small for a couple, next time we would ask for twin beds but the rest is fine ! A good point is the presence of a parking behind the hotel. A good point is also the size of the rooms.
Stayed here for 5 days. Friendly helpful welcome from reception. Modern comfy bar area with drinks reasonably priced. Rooms good size, clean with everything you would need. (Including bathrobe & umbrella!).Never seen a buffet breakfast like this before. What a selection! Cereals, yoghurts, smoothies, continental meats, sausages, bacon, eggs, any drink you desire-including hot lemonade. Selection of bread, rolls, croissants & cakes & a chocolate fountain with fruit. 🍇 🍈 🍉. Clean swimming pool with small sauna, which is nice to relax in after a day of walking around town. Definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.
Visually a very nice hotel in a good location to the centre of town and attractions. Very nice pool and bar area. The rooms itself are nice and modern and appear to have what you need. There’s some negatives though. We had a problem with the shower head not staying up when we arrived. It was fixed relatively quick but it did take two attempts to someone to come sort it. The shower itself was powerful which was good until mid shower it decided to change its temperature without touching it. Sometimes it would scald you, sometimes freeze you. Not great if you’ve a child for instance. The bed itself was ok. Not as bad as other people have stated. One dreadfully thin pillow each with no spares tucked away anywhere though. There was bath robes for going to the pool which doubled up as nicely as a pillow. Got to improvise. Oh and the room was roasting. Outside temperature between 0-5 degrees and 2 windows open permanently making little difference. It’s a 4* hotel, swimming pool itself and general decor make it 4*. Little touches like a mini bar and free water daily are good to have available and again help it get its 4*. Too many little things that I’ve mentioned just let it down.…
