Right in the middle of downtown. Bad thing that the reception is not in the same building as most of the rooms. We were welcomed by a security guard being the only employee on shift, he spoke Czech language only and gave us the wrong room first what we had to change later. Heating did not work in the room while it was 5 degrees outside. Breakfast was in a fancy cafe but they refused to give more then one cup of coffee and served less then a mililiter orange juice. They were charging for more coffee. That is a pity. The room itself was well equipped (except the wifi did not work), big enough and very clean. The hotel was flexible on late check-out without charging extra cost. Altogether it is good value for the price and has the best location, some improvement would make it a perfect accomodation.

This hotel has a few surprises, compared to other hotels. Most of them are positive. It is situated in the city centre, walking distance from Stodolní street, the place every partygoer MUST visit. The first surprise comes when you check in the reception, The entrance to the living area is on the other side of the building, When you enter, you find yourself in a house with a pretty big gallery. The rooms are another surprise - they are really big, I think about 60 square meters. There is a separate kitchen available, so it is more like apartments. The equipment is average, but everything is clean. The last surprise you can experience is the breakfast. It is served in the public restaurant, that is entered from the street. The food is tasty, but it is served. So you choose the "style" of your breakfast and you simply get it. Bacon is available, so i tried. It was one of the better ones I had, so I am awarding the breakfast with four of five points on my Baconindex.

Lovely accomodation in Ostrava at reasonable price. It is a Hotel but it does not have rooms, it has different sized apartements,The apartments are very comfortable and very clean. The entrance to the apartments is different feom the entrance to the reception and this ensure a good degree of privacy. Very clean and with a kitchen well equipped. Location is just in centre near the (in) famous Stodolni street -(see my review) All in all an ideal place to spend a week end or a work trip

I stayed in one of the apartments for four nights for the Colours Festival. It was perfect with a metro stop outside and less than five minutes away from Stodolni for bars and nightlife. The apartments are large and would be very comfortable for two people. Breakfast in the restaurant next door was fine with a number of options to choose from which meant that I had something different every day. It is the second time I have stayed here and means that you can enjoy Stodolni street but still retreat to your hotel for a quiet sleep.
