I am a native of Ostrava, though living far from the city now. If I need to celebrate something in Ostrava, this is the best place I know of. The menu is excellent and the service very good. There is a special room, so-called Knight Room, which has good acoustics (if you intend to sing there :-)

After more then one Year I visited again this hotel. Hotel is for travelers, who do not want sleep in standard hotel. Hotel is a real castle, nothing for disabled person. There are no lifts, lot of steps, staircases etc. On the other hand, You will sleep in real castle. In hotel there is standard comfort as in normal hotel...

It is hard to believe that this romantic place is situated not the the most beautiful part of Ostrava but it is so worth visiting! We tried a wellness experience containing herbal bath for couples, bottle of delicious wine, small healthy snack and great relaxing massage. All was done in a beautiful stylish historic room. We have already tried many...

Beautifully refurbished chateau. Great for business dinners or tasting some beer specials made in its own brewery. Delicious food in a non-smoking beer house. At the reception desk you can get beer cosmetics (like shampoo, shower gel etc.).

For somebody it could be not comfortable, for sure is the hotel not suired for disabled persons. But it does not mean that there is missing something from standard hotel equipment. On top of that You are surrounded by...

We were on our way from Warsaw to Vienna, and Ostrava is the half way point. While not much to do in Ostrava itself, Zamecek was a cool place to spend the night. Good traditional Czech restaurant with its own home brew beer. I also love when they take derelict historical properties, renovate them and make them something more useful...

was here for one night during and it was extremely loud. but it seems to be quite popular though. there are some summer program available. but the house is acoustically generally poorly isolated. I was not able to sleep till 23:30, and was waken up by morning noise at 4:00. not really pleasant. But reception was nice and helpful, though.

I was there with my new team to get to know each other. I was amazed by the uniqueness of the place which I would not expect in Ostrava. Stylish building, own brewery, attractive menu with daily special, supplied by local farmers. Open air cinema in the backyard, that attracted so many people we haven't been able to get through...

Food is excellent. It is very good idea to enjoy wellness (beer spa) and then many types of beer. Cuisine is delicious. Especially fish. Nice and quiet place with enough parking spots. You can buy beer cosmetics as well.
