    wonderful staff
The hotel was in a really excellent location, about a 3 minute walk to the main square and right next to a park. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean. The bedroom was large and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious as well. So, everything was perfect, but actually the best thing about this hotel were its staff. I found them to be absolutely lovely - extremely friendly and ready to help whenever they could. I hope to return to Olomouc, and if I do, I will definitely stay here.

Very nice Place almost in the Center of the Old Town
Located close to old, restored town of Olomouc, Czech Republic, this is a Good Place to spend a few days in Olomouc. All important locations are Narbe, breakfast is Good, too.

    Pleasant surprise.
We booked our room at the Alley after a cursory search on the web while driving, and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The hotel is designed for business travelers and as such is rather sterile, but the staff is extremely friendly, competent, and helpful, and the location is quite good. Our room was large, comfortable, and modern and there was secure on-site parking. The receptionist referred us to a restaurant, Moravski, in the town center, and it was an excellent dining experience. Although Olomouc was not a scheduled stop in our itinerary, we're very glad we opted to spend a night there.

Pleasantly surprised with the changes at this hotel. Rooms very comfortable, breakfast was good and service excellent. Location is perfect if you have business at the university, but also close enough to the centre of town for site seeing. Bar has good selection of drinks including of course Czech pivo!

This is a four star hotel in a quiet but central location. Its only a short walk to all the sights and is close to the park where you can go for a nice walk by the river. It took me 20 minutes to walk to the train station from the hotel. The room was spacious, clean and quiet so i slept well. In the morning i enjoyed a good buffet breakfast. The only disappointment was when i checked in. I arrived about 2 hours before the check in time of 2pm and was told that the room was ready but i would have to pay extra because i was early. In my experience most hotels usually allow you to check in slightly early without paying extra. I found this attitude to be mean and not guest friendly. Based on my experience i would not return to this hotel.

Besides the fact that Olomouc itself is a very nice place to be, this hotel will make your stay even better. The location is great: right next to the park and in the same building with the police department which double-guarantees the quietness of the area around. At the same time, it's three-to-five minutes walk to the city center. Breakfast was nice, and here I should mention stewed (or baked) vegetables, that I appreciated a lot. Room was fine, the only problem was a shower mixer head which had some problems with water flow.

It's nice and easy hotel. Room The hotel claims it's a business hotel, however it doesn't have one single power supply socket. Nor at the bed to charge smart phone nor at the desk to work on computer. Bathroom Pressure of water is a bit high and shower is like a torture. Otherwise nice, clean, well maintained Bar, restaurant Very beautiful small bar with decent selection of drinks. However food is better to have outside. Hotel is located five minutes from city center, five minutes from shopping mall. At city center are plenty of very good restaurants In general very nice place to stay for decent price. Once these small issues are resolved it will be perfect.

The Alley calls itself a Business Hotel, and that's exactly what it is. It's new, comfortable, clean, quiet, in a great location, with no pretensions to having much of an atmosphere. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast, which was included, was standard hotel fare. My only problem was with the shower, which was in the bath, with a shower curtain (ugh...) instead of a glass panel.

We stayed four nights at this hotel on the edge of the historic centre of town, so just a short walk from Olomouc's picturesque squares, cobbled treeets and fountains. Hotel was very comfortable and staff friendly and helpful, in spite of the language barrier. Great, it you like contemporary boutique design, with mirrors and floor-level lighting. The buffet breakfasts had a wide range of options, in the chic dining room. Evening meal we had one evening was served in the bar, since we were the only diners. But it was fine. It just needs more guests!! Highly recommended.

Great hotel in a great location! The breakfast was great. The people nice. We even had a whirl pool in our room. We paid 128 euros and had a huge bedroom a gigantic living room outdoor patio which was 5 m by 5 m with a table 4 chairs and a large umbrella a real bargain

Great location: right next to a green area, and only about 350 m from the Lower Square (Dolní náměstí) in the city center. Breakfast was good, with bread, rolls and toast, ham and sausages, cheeses, yoghurt, honey, jam, fried and scrambled eggs, hot sausages, several kinds of cereals. Wifi worked well. Air-conditioning worked well, too, but it was somewhat noisy. There was a tv with some 20 channels, mostly Czech, some of them English, German, Polish. The small refrigerator was filled with soft drinks and snacks (chips, nuts), but was not turned on, and I did not manage to turn it on. I found my room rather small, and the only shelves were underneath the place were I could hang jackets and pants, so I had to bend down every time I wanted to retrieve socks or underpants. No soap shelf in the shower, and the soap dispenser in the shower dispensed soap only in minute amounts.

Outstanding location for a business or leisure trip to Olomouc. We were there for a weekend to visit friends. The location is within east walking distance of central Olomouc. The hotel is adjacent to a nice walking park. It also serves as a great starting point for jogging/running around the town through its various parks. Rooms are comfortable - ours had a door that opened on a half-balcony to get some fresh air. Staff are friendly, accommodating and generally helpful. Included breakfast is very good. The hotel has just been remodeled (reopened in April 2017, I think). Completely redesigned lobby. Spacious lounge and restaurant. If you arrive by car, there is gated private parking, adjacent to the police station, in front of the hotel.

What a gem. The hotel has large rooms, very clean and quiet. The beds a typical thin mattress on a wooden frame but comfortable. The wardrobe is large enough to hold 7-10 hanging clothes and there are 2 shelves for other items. The bathroom is large with a large sink and counter. The staff is really friendly, told me where the restaurants were and provided a map. The breakfast is a small buffet style but actually with enough variety to meet most people's needs. As many people have already said, the location is fine - right near the historic town square- 5 minute walk and also 5 minutes away from a mall also with some nice restaurants. It is right on a walking path around the inner city so you can reach everywhere pretty quickly. My only minor gripe is that it is next to the city police station and although it only happened twice on the first night, but not again, there are police sirens late at night. Although it did not matter to me, there is a very small parking area and I believe you have to pay extra for it, so make sure they save you a spot.
