I had not been in Olomouc for a while and was back a week ago. Everything in the hotel was superb and it is clearly well managed. The rooms are super and the food excellent. I know this sounds like a paid ad but it really is an excellent hotel and one of my favourites. What also attracts me is that it is right opposite the railway station entrance so no waiting for taxis or buses or trams. On cold winter days this is a huge advantage. Ask for a room overlooking the railway station.

I have to admit I am biased when it comes to this hotel as it is one of my favorites and I have stayed there every year since it opened almost twenty years ago which is tribute in itself. I visit the best local attraction the steam narrow gauge railway from Tremesna to Osoblaha and this hotels is ideal for getting there for the trip which is outstanding it being the last Czech Railways narrow gauge steam railway and wĂth steam at that!
The hotel is superbly managed with an extremely friendly staff! the breakfast is superb as is the food. The rooms have everything you could ask for. I highly recommend it.

It has been over two years since I had been in Olomouc due Covid but the Clarion Hotel has not changed, The food is superb, the staff friendly and the rooms everything you could want and particularly a huge deep bath which I love.
Their rates are extremely reasonable.
Olomouc is a delightful city and not far from the famous Tremesna Osoblaha narrow gauge Steam Railway which is fantastic and also worth a visit.
The Ceske Drahy steam depot in Olomouc is also worth a visit.

This is one of my favorite hotels. Its location opposite the railway station makes it very easy to get to. The staff are friendly and competent and will do anything to make ones stay better. The food is top class and you can have anything anytime of the day. Clearly a well managed hotel. I highly recommend it.

This hotel is without doubt the best value and the best hotel in Olomouc. The food is excellent, the rooms superb and the staff friendly and helpful. Being opposite the Railway station it is in an ideal location. I highly recommend it,. I also suggest you take a day on the Osoblaha steam railway from Tremesna v Slezsku.

Husband and I stopped here for 1 night on our way through to Krakow just to break up the trip and see another historic old town section of a different city.
The hotel is directly out the front of the hotel. Perfect for dropping off your bags and heading into town.
The room seems to be the exact same set up as the one we stayed at in Prague. Decent size room, double bed and large bathroom. Wi fi is fast enough for checking email and surfing the web. Also it is free.
Breakfast was a larger spread than the one in Prague even though it's in the same restaurant (Benada). For us it was included - though I don't think it's included for everyone at the hotel. Be sure to confirm that ahead of time. I don't know what they charge for it, but it's a good size. Several choices of juice, 3 different sausages, some beans, herring, potato salad, regular lettuce mix salad, sliced tomatoes, sliced cucumber, slices of different types of meat (4 types), 2 types of sliced cheese, 2 other "fancier" types of cheese, cottage cheese, 2 types of yogurt (fruit and plain) 4 types of cereals, a bunch of various breads and rolls, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, an omelet station (but nobody was manning it), bacon, pancakes, crepes, some jams/jellies for the bread and crepes, watermelon slices, mixed fruit, some dessert type things (bundt cake, some sort of other chocolate type of thing) a coffee dispenser, about 6 types of tea to make, hot chocolate from the machine....hmm there was more but that's all I can remember! I'm sure it switches some of the items, so don't hold them to my detailed list!
There's a good Chinese restaurant that's inexpensive on the walk toward Old Town, maybe a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. If you choose from the menu on the front of the building (ones starting with M then a number) there are a number of items equivalent to about $6 US or even less. You can also do takeaway for a little extra for the box (like 50 cents). They do not stay open late.
There's an Albert supermarket also 10 minutes or less walk from the hotel. Opened at 7 am and closed at 8 pm I believe were the hours.
The Old Town is 25 minutes to walk from the hotel. My husband and I walk quickly and did it in less. Most people will take 25 minutes to get to the first square in the Old Town. It's not 10 minutes, not 15, etc. Plan on a minimum of 20 if not longer. How to get there... #1 get a map at the front desk... #2 head out the front door and turn right. Follow that street for a long time until you see a raised walkway over the street (it goes to a shopping mall if you are interested). When you arrive at that street turn right and follow that street straight until you arrive in the first square. From there follow your map around!
As for the town - GREAT to see! Not at all touristy and was really empty and dead for the most part both during the day on a Saturday and up until 11 pm on a Saturday night. Lots of historic stuff and refreshing not to be overwhelmed by other tourists and souvenir shops galore! If you like that kind of thing, definitely go see it!

We arrived around 5 am - and were prepared to take a taxi - but there it was - right across the plaza! True story. We rung the bell in the hotel - and a clerk and the rest of staff were very helpful. We stayed there for a week. The room had everything, including a free Wi-Fi, and their continental breakfast had more than I ever saw before (5 types of coffee, several types of omelet with cooks on stand-by, nice selections of breads, meets, vegies, etc). We tried their restaurant twice - 1st time the food was perfect, the 2nd time the service was not that good, but the prices in Czech Republic are so low that even expensive dishes are affordable. i recommend their soup of forest mushrooms.

Checked in late after 9pm but the staff was quick and efficient. Pleasantly surprised to get a fruit basket in the room too and was truly appreciated. The hotel is directly across the train station but we took the flixbus from Krakow, then walked from the bus station about 15min leisurely stroll. Room was clean and the twin beds comfortable. Bathroom is large by the European standards. Got a couple of English channels too. As I'm a light sleeper the noise from the outside/train station was quite noticeable. But overall a nice stay for our quick trip to olomouc.

They definitely provide parking in the garage though I am not sure about its price. There is also a train station garage 100 metres from the hotel and its price is very cheap.
There are more places to choose from in the Olomouc area.
