I would give this hotel 5 stars for loveliness, cleanliness, location and service but have to give it a 3 or even a 2 for noise. The noise is not from the hotel but the sidewalk out front. There are bar/restaurants on the street and when we were there people (mostly young) gathered on the sidewalk and talked and laughed literally all night. We got very little sleep. After that night I realized why there were packages of ear plugs in the bathroom. Otherwise, hotel location is perfect---just around the corner from old town. The top floor rooms have one small dormer window and slanted ceilings, so if you are claustrophobic you probably don't want one of those.

Stayed here when my son started at the local university under the erazmas scheme. Room was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. Staff on reception were more than helpful. One young ladies working the evening shift on reception even booked our return train journey back the to Prague on her own laptop and we just gave her our card to pay. Great location and local bars serving their own beers nearby. Perfect stay in perfect hotel.

We have spent three pleasant days in this hotel. The rooms are big and clean, the staff is professional, and the hotel is located in a wonderful position, just 1 minute walking-distance to the main square of the city, and near all the main tourist sites and restaurants.
The breakfast could certainly be improved, but it’s not bad either.
I would go again to the same hotel next time I visit Olomouc!

The hotel is close to the old town but unfortunately the neighborhood is noisy, there are a lot of pubs and the street is busy. We didn't sleep well, it was noisy all night. The staff is nice. Room clean, only the sheets were crisp. Unfortunately, breakfast is very poor, there is no plant-based milk, no fruit; only two slices of watermelon for all guests? Olomouc is very nice but if I go back I will take another hotel.

Hotel Gemo is a completely renovated hotel and the location is very convenient at the border with the old city centre. The entire old city centre is on the corner at walking distance. There is also a tram stop in front of the hotel and trams run very frequently and hardly cost anything. The hotel is supposed to be the best one in town and it is cheap (about eur 75.00) for a 4-star hotel. Quite spacious room and well equipped modern bathroom. Staff at the desk were all speaking English. Good breakfast. Cheap internet connection in the lounge. All kinds of restaurants are in the neighbourhood and they are very cheap compared to Western-European prices. I really liked my stay.

We had one of the corner rooms (106) and it was wonderful: entry way with a window, luggage stand, closet, chair and door to bathroom then the room was HUGE 3 double windows (with sheers, blinds and curtains) with a queen bed, couch coffee table chairs, entertainment center, desk etc. There was free DSL internet connection in the room as well as 2 free access computers in the lobby.

The breakfast buffet looked like there was a lot of choice, hot and cold food (we arrived just after a large group left).

The staff were very helpful and everything was very clean.

I would certainly return.

Arrived at hotel hoping there’d be plenty of spaces to park car and there was, in front and to the side of the hotel.
Check-in was quick and was given clear directions to the room.
The room was large with twin beds a good size TV and a kettle with tea & coffee with the mini bar underneath it also had air conditioning which unfortunately didn’t work but you could open the windows but it was a bit noisy with the traffic & trams passing by ( I’m a light sleeper).
Breakfast was continental also had a small selection of cereals, fresh fruit juices, various teas and coffee.
The hotel is in an excellent location with 2 town squares just behind it with loads of cafes & restaurants to choose.
Would recommend this hotel and will go back when in Olomouc again.

My Fiancé and I are recently stayed at the Trinity hotel and had such an amazing time that I had to write a review. I have never bothered writing a review before but this hotel deserves a mention.
From the moment we entered the hotel to the time we left I couldn't fault anything. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We ate at the hotel and out in nearby restaraunts all was fantastic. I like my food so food is an important part of our holidays. The service was great and the food was amazing. The rooms were spacious, clean and actualy look like they do in the pictures. The old town is a lovely walk with plenty to do and see. We really enjoyed are stay and will be going back next year. Really fantastic hotel and staff.
