I would give this hotel 5 stars for loveliness, cleanliness, location and service but have to give it a 3 or even a 2 for noise. The noise is not from the hotel but the sidewalk out front. There are bar/restaurants on the street and when we were there people (mostly young) gathered on the sidewalk and talked and laughed literally all night. We got very little sleep. After that night I realized why there were packages of ear plugs in the bathroom. Otherwise, hotel location is perfect---just around the corner from old town. The top floor rooms have one small dormer window and slanted ceilings, so if you are claustrophobic you probably don't want one of those.
Stayed here when my son started at the local university under the erazmas scheme. Room was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. Staff on reception were more than helpful. One young ladies working the evening shift on reception even booked our return train journey back the to Prague on her own laptop and we just gave her our card to pay. Great location and local bars serving their own beers nearby. Perfect stay in perfect hotel.
The Trinity Hotel was a wonderful place to spend a week in Olomouc while visiting Palacky University. The room was large and clean. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly the housekeeping staff came and cleaned the room each day. The location of the hotel is at a stop of the city's tram service. The Old Town Square was less than 50 feet from the hotel. I was lucky enough to arrive while the Christmas Market had opened and what a wonderful experience. The staff was kind and very helpful. I loved the morning breakfast buffet with its wide variety of food. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you find yourself in Olomouc.
Fantastic location. The best for a participant at a conference. Good choice! I could keep the room little longer as they heard that my taxi’ ld arrive early in the afternoon. Near the historic city center. Very good and kind service.
Great location a few minutes walk to the squares. Parking (paid) right outside is great. Hotel is immaculate and clean and our room was nicely decorated. Shower in bathroom was very small but worse was that it changed at random from cold to viciously hot when in use. Breakfast was very basic and not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel. A bit noisy with cobble street on one side and trams on the other. It didn't bother us, but if you are a light sleeper, beware.
This Hotel is nice and the location is, as said, perfect at the edge of the old town. Comfortable and quite large rooms with clean bathroom. We stayed two nights and can recommend this hotel if you ever want to visit Olomouc.
Arrived at hotel hoping there’d be plenty of spaces to park car and there was, in front and to the side of the hotel. Check-in was quick and was given clear directions to the room. The room was large with twin beds a good size TV and a kettle with tea & coffee with the mini bar underneath it also had air conditioning which unfortunately didn’t work but you could open the windows but it was a bit noisy with the traffic & trams passing by ( I’m a light sleeper). Breakfast was continental also had a small selection of cereals, fresh fruit juices, various teas and coffee. The hotel is in an excellent location with 2 town squares just behind it with loads of cafes & restaurants to choose. Would recommend this hotel and will go back when in Olomouc again.
It is really a shame that the hotel serves such a poor breakfast. Otherwise they would get 5 stars! Fantastic room with a view. No noise from outside despite traffic etc. Comfy beds, spotless bathroom and effective air-con. Provides great value for the money, so if you can skip the breakfast you would still have a great stay
Beautiful hotel websites, but the reality is worse in overall comparsion. Pros: Clean rooms, friendly staff, location of the hotel near the city center Cons: Old room equipment, very small shower room, morning noise from the ground floor, a small breakfast selection, diluted juices, Overall, the low price-performance ratio.
Close to the squares of the city center, the hotel sends through its strong flashbacks to the 70-80s of the last century. The rooms vary in size, two of them being on the top floor with no lift. Breakfasts are adequate, but nothing more.
