Delightful small pension in an old building with walking distance to everywhere in Olomouc city centre. The room was lovely and service very friendly. Every day you get to choose your breakfast from a menu and it's freshly prepared for you.

Recommended. Historic building located a few minutes walk from St Wenceslas Cathedral and 10-15 minute walk to Town Squares. Neighborhood is not as vibrant as other areas but there are good restaurants nearby. Excellent staff. We stayed three nights in Room #3, a double room. A cozy fit for two travelers, stated size is 20m². Very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfy. The bathroom and shower is cozy but workable. Room is uniquely furnished with an antique wardrobe (with four hangers), some newer furnishings, mismatched bedside reading lights and the wall mural. The room has a small table with two chairs. Light infiltration through the curtains may bother some sleepers as may the rooms location next to the stairs. Breakfast starts the day or night before by selecting choices from a menu and is served at your table starting at 7:30 AM by the very attentive staff. Excellence service here. Good range of choices, eggs, bacon, sausage, cereals, cheeses, fruits, etc. Wi-Fi signal was good. A limited number of power outlets for charging devices. SDB. Mini-fridge. Lobby fridge is stocked with beverages for purchase. Paid street parking about a block away (free after 6 PM M-F and all day on weekends). Payment terms: Paid at check-in.

We were in Olomouc for a couple days and stayed at Pension Royal. The most important thing is that the room was immaculately clean, as was the whole facility. You have to reserve a time and choose your meal in advance for breakfast but they had some excellent choices on the menu. Given how small the place is, this is quite understandable. Breakfast is served on a terrace at the back of the property. On the downside, all rooms are at least one flight of stairs up, some more. If you are carrying luggage, a stroller or have bed knees, this could be a drawback. Also the rooms are not air conditioned and do NOT have fans, so summer evenings can be very hot until about 4 am. One night we had a drunk singing outside our window until the wee smalls. Despite these small problems, we would definitely stay here again but bring a fan.

This pension has a big potential - worth improvement! It’s situated in the heart of historic Olomouc, but not suitable for ageing people or for families with babies in strollers (too many wooden stairs to climb). For example, TV screen and bath tube would raise a rating. Also we had to wait for breakfast to be served on time (in the building next-door), quite inconvenient. Anyway, stylish rooms and nice views from the windows made our stay fine.

We booked a double room with a washing machine and breakfast for two nights. The web page suggested that we could also book dinner in advance. I sent an email asking for dinner for one of the nights. Thank room was very spacious, clean with quality bedding and towels. It is very convenient to the railway station, the tram and the town centre but tram noise starts about 5am and goes til late. However, not only was there no washing machine but breakfast was served in a café up the street.Unfortunately for us, the café didn't open until 9 am on Saturday when we had a train to catch so we had no breakfast. Needless to say, dinner was not offered. There is no one on site, except guests, over night and no one at the weekend.

The location is good, and can be reached from the train / bus station by tram easily. The old town square is within walking distance or can be reached by tram. The staff is kind. The room was big, clean and decorated in a classic style. It has the view of the church. Price was very reasonable. Needed to walk up the two floors of stairs to our room, a difficult task when you have heavy luggage.

Very good service, professional staff and convenient location. The room (downstairs) is very comfortable with a great bathroom and terrace. The staff is cooperative and helpful. The small hotel is located one station from the city-center (10 min. to walk).

I was looking for somewhere to stay while i was visiting a friend in Olomouc. Most of the pensions i was looking at seemed so plain and just ok. i found this place on booking.com I was shocked when i walked into my room not just to find a huge bedroom but a whole separate kitchen and a huge bathroom with a bath tub and heated floors! wow what a plus that was. it was always warm. This was not a usual pension room this was an entire apartment with a kitchen and a view of the famous church oh and it had a door leading to a backyard with grass and trees! The location is only a few walking blocks from the main square which was so so beautiful all festive with a Christmas tree all lit up and the gorgeous old building all lit up with all the booths serving their famous holiday punch. wow it has a real punch so don't over drink this! The owner of Angelus Pension is this wonderful friendly woman who was so so kind.. Oh i also forgot it includes a daily breakfast too that was a full variety of food. meats, cheeses, yogurt. fresh bread and rolls, jams, butter and muesli. I highly recommend this place to stay. its super clean and a great price! if i ever go back to Olomouc i would stay there in a heartbeat! It will not disappoint at all! one last thing, there is a great Irish bar right across the street. it such a cool and quirky place to have a drink. There is a nonsmoking section thank God unless i could have never gone it there! Also there is a great restaurant down the street called, "

We had one night here while visiting the Olomouc Christmas market - well worth going to. The Pension is small and friendly. Best things: A place to lock your car up a couple of hundred metres away near the cathedral Warm and beautifully decorated room Spotlessly clean Nice welcome and breakfast - limited choice as the place is so small but everything was fresh and tasty Location was good - a ten minute walk to the main squares but close to the cathedral district and very easy for driving to compared to some more central pensions. Why not a 5 star? The bathroom had a shower gel /shampoo bottle in the shower but no soap for the sink so you had to get a handful of gel from the shower to wash your hands. No mineral water in the room which would have been nice Some tram noise - not a problem in the winter with the windows shut but it may be in the summer.
