Wellness hotel Villa Regenhart in Jesenik is well located hotel in the heart of a big Preissnitz spa park/garden on right bank of river Bělá near city center. Building itself has amazing atmosphere and beautiful Art Noveau style with various details and linked with its proper owner Mr. Regenhart (late 1800s and early 1900s). Nature in neighbourhood of Jesenik is very beautiful (Jeseniky mountains, Rejvíz, Praděd mtn., Preissnitz medical spa area, etc.) - well worthy of visit. Room was cozy and stylish, properly cleaned and disinfected before our stay. Bed was comfortable, barhroom had everything man can need, minibar in room had reasonable prices for snacks/refreshment. Only little disapointment was room service during our stay - room was not cleaned at all in 6 days we were there (at least they took out the garbage as it was full after four days). Restaurant is amazing, waitresses were nice and kind, they ask us if there is everething OK, recommended specialities of kitchen (special christmas menu), wines/drinks which are best for every ordered food, presented all our courses and much more. We have also a romantic 4-meal dinner which was too very delicate, as everything we ate there. Breakfasts were buffet styled with plenty of various cold/warm, sweet/sour, meat/vegetarian food. Everything was tasty and well prepared/presented. Nice atmosphere was in restaurant complemented with decent music and comfy coffee/tea tables and beautiful chess table. Wellness area, starting from girls on its reception, warm pool with relaxing whirlpool “beds”, three types of saunas (currently working only two, because of covid restrictions), cooling pool, outside jacuzzi, private whirlpool zone and chill zone, was amazing! Based on this I have to recommend this beautiful wellness hotel, with amazing restaurant to everyone who want to spend romantic week in beautifull surroundings of Jeseniky mountains.

Overall nice looking hotel within nice area. Staff is nice and really do try their best, but we felt like no one really had much experience in the hospitality which was disappointing for 4 star hotel. Room was nice and clean, bed was uncomfortable, very soft and uneven mattress surface which didn't make it easy to sleep through the whole night. Wi-fi very very poor, even not working very often. Good variety of TV channels. Wellness and pool Massage nice and done properly, but because of booking people sharp for 30 or 60 minute time slots, the massage didn't last the time we paid for. It is already expensive for Czech Republic and to cut down the time it's a bit cheeky.Pool is nice with nice view, the pool room is colder so you need to swim more to warm up. The massaging streams within a pool do run on cold water, so we didn't enjoy it as we were cold. Resting area and saunas are amazing with cold pool outside to cool down as well as there is a drinking water with some fresh fruit available after the sauna. We enjoyed outside jacuzzi with a bottle of sparkling wine, which was really nice. The staff at wellness was really nice, smiley and chatty. Restaurant First evening we had three course menu. We had no idea what was served, except the main course which we got asked about in advance. They expect you to come in, eat whatever you get and go. But what about people with special dietary requirements or simply people who don't like some sort of food? When we asked what was the starter, we got weird look and snappy answer, like why are you even asking? The atmosphere was nice both evenings. Second night, we had four course romantic dinner by the candles. Well it wasn't romantic as we shared the romantic moment with other couples having the same deal as well as with regular customers. There were artificial rose petals which was very cheap for 4 star hotel. Better without them. Starter was nice, easy but good flavours together. Soup was nice and good portion. Main course-my partner had a deer steak with potatoes which was good. For myself we asked the receptionist at the early afternoon for any vegetarian option, she really did try her best but the chef said no as we supposed to tell them in advance. I mean how difficult is to make anything vegetarian in this kind of kitchen? At the end I got potatoes with goats cheese but why all the hussle around it for the whole afternoon? It's the easiest you can make. Dessert was nicely flavoured, but creme brulee supposed to have the sugar crust melted or at least half melted or caramelised. We got crystals of hard sugar and a bit burnt. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, simple buffet style. Overall the staff was nice and really tried their best, I really think there was lack of experience needed for 4 star hotel, especially with those prices. With food, do local cuisine if you are not 100% confident with worldwide cuisines. Either do it for 100% or don't do it, because the result is not that impressive.

Villa Regenhart is a beautiful building refurbished in the nice style, preserving the original features. We booked Junior Suite, the room was cozy and quiet. My only reservation to the actual room was the fact that there wasn’t a proper shower (only hand held inside the bath without a shower curtain) and also the cleanliness of the room was poor. We had to ask for new bed sheet as the one provided was stained and also the room was so dusty, looked like noone cleaned there for a while (attaching a few pics). When it comes to the restaurant, the food was average and we were really disappointed with the service. By an example, when asked for a napkin, which wasn’t provided to our table, the waiter Tomas started explaining that guests who book Junior Suite with breakfast only are NOT entitled to cloth napkins in the restaurant, as those are only for half-board guests! When we returned a soufflé we ordered for dessert back to the chef (as it was barely a size of a golf ball and was completely dry inside), instead of just taking it back, waiter Tomas started to argue that on Masterchef they teach to make a soufflé dry....interesting! The wine list was also very confusing, white, red and rose wines mixed together and not described properly what is what. It’s basically the final touches that were missing here - better service, better atmosphere in the dining room (some music would be nice), and most of all the service and politeness towards the guests. There was a lovely receptionist there when we checked out - the restaurant staff should learn their manners from her!
