Had a wonderful two night stay here with our toddler. This resort is extremely family friendly with a great sauna area for adults.
When we checked in, we were given a little gift bag for our son and asked if we wanted a bed made up for him. When we said yes, we were given the option of a crib or a cot. The cot was made up quickly and we were given extra towels for our son and even kids shampoo. We were also able to get a kids robe for him to use.
There is a small play area next to the restaurant. The breakfast buffet included Prosecco, a barista who makes fresh coffee, and lots of food options.
The hotel has two pools: a shallow rooftop pool and a deeper indoor pool. You can order drinks at either of them. You can also rent bikes from reception.
We appreciated everything the resort offered. The only thing that the room was missing was a microwave (it had a small fridge). Not sure if the bigger family rooms include one or not. It was still a great stay!

We stayed at the Orea Resort Santon on a stop over during a trip across Europe, towing a very long glider trailer. Sadly, we only had one night staying there and we wished that it could have been more!
Parking a trailer that is nearly ten metres long always presents challenges but the reception staff were extremely helpful in solving that problem. Photo attached and there can be few places in the world where a car and trailer can be better set. We have no Czech but that was not a problem. All the staff spoke good English and several had worked in the UK before Brexit. What a monumental mistake Brexit is proving to be!!!
The hotel has an indoor pool and spa and time using these facilities is included in the room rate. Sadly we were unable to avail ourselves of these facilities. Before we took supper, we went for a short walk around the local area and it was gorgeous! Again, a reason to regret our all to brief sojourn.
Dinner was served in a rather cavernous room which was furnished like it had come from a 1960s comprehensive school. Despite this, service was excellent and the Czech cuisine meal was filling and nutritious.
Our room was not at all bad either. It had tea making facilities and had a balcony overlooking the front of the property. We both slept well.
Breakfast was served in the same cavernous area as the previous evening's supper. Being daylight we were able to enjoy the large balcony area with views across the local countryside and adjacent lake. Very pleasant indeed!
We were sad to have to check out the next morning but we still had a couple of hundred miles to reach our destination so we had to go.
Would I stay there again? You betcha but if you decide to stay, do make enough time to enjoy this hotel, its surroundings and its amenities!

We ennjoyed staying at this hotel for a week in July. It seems that the hotel was recently renovated to a high standard, lovely hotel room, restaurant and spa. Staff speak English and we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere.
The hotel is located at Lake Brno and the restaurant has a terrace with beautiful views over the lake which make it special when enjoying breakfast, lunch, dinner or an evening drink.
Breakfast was a feast, freshly squeezed orange juice, a barrista on call to make all sorts of coffee, breads. yoghurts, all that you expect when enjoying a tasty breakfast.
The hotel has a small outdoor paddling pool where you can sunbathe but there is also a spa with indoor pool and sauna. Since the hotel is located near a lake, you can also go to the lake where there is a dock from where you can enter the lake.
Rooms were clean and freshly decorated, comfy bed, supplementary bathrobes and toiletries.
We enjoyed the area, plenty to see and do. Both Prague, Bratislava and Vienna are also within reach of hotel and doable for a day trip. Since we booked breakfast only, we enjoyed nearby restaurants to have dinner, plenty to choose from.
We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

The working weekend demanded an overnight stay, we slept almost everywhere in Brno, so we changed resorts, modern living, no place to hang clothes, bathroom with toiletries. There is wellness in the hotel, but I didn't have time to use it. In the morning, breakfast is served, there is a lot to choose from, Möet & Chandos are poured, and they are happy to prepare Flath white and others.

Lovely stay, beautiful hotel with such a warm reception and all team is just so happy and helpful. Location is top class, right on the lake. Kids up to 6 yo stay free(they sleep with you on the bed, our son is 6.5yo) we slept great. Breakfast is very worldwide class, with Prosecco, detox juices, bubble waffles and brilling czech cake station. Constantly replenished and they make fab flat white-barister style. The outdoor pool is tiny! It’s a baby pool. We laughed as on the pics it looks like a proper roof pool, 2kids is too many.
Big pool is inside, plus two great saunas. I would definitely recommend it to others. Loved it.

Lovely place by the lake, recently modernised. Breakfast was excellent, good choice, on the second day there was an egg station for anything you want. Both days there is a barista providing proper coffee at breakfast which is included. They are an artist in coffee.
We ate lunches and dinner at the hotel on the lovely terrace overlooking the lake. Food was good if quite simple, staff were excellent.
We also booked a massage in the wellness centre, (2 hours a day general admission is included in your stay). The masseuse was amazing, professional and clearly trained.
They have a fridge in the room and you just buy what you wish from reception. Prices are very reasonable.
Around the hotel is a collection of little bars, restaurants and water sports places, it all feels very holiday like, probably because it is on the edge of the city of Brno. It was very busy round the lake on Sunday. Monday was quiet in the morning then things opened at lunchtime. We took an enjoyable trip around the lake on the regular boats that cross cross it and take you to different areas, took 2.5 hours in total.
We will stay here again if in the area.

A renovated old school hotel at the shore of Brněnská přehrada. Very nice view from the roof restaurant. Double bed rooms are small, but for one or two nights ok. The rooms has air condition and during the summer you'll need it. Bathroon is fine and clean. The hotel is with free wlan. Breakfast was tasty and fresh with cakes, fruites, vegetables and hot meals.

My wife and I stayed here over the weekend of the 22/23 Oct 22. We arrived in the dark and so couldn’t appreciate the exterior or the surrounds. The hotel itself is very clean and well kept. Diana and her team run a very tight ship. After checking in we discovered a maintenance issue with our room and was moved immediately. The room we moved to overlooked the lake (403) and very nice views were had. The spa facilities are superb and 2 hours of usage of these are in included within the price. The pool is nice and warm it’s long enough and deep enough to swim in. My wife had a 55 min Thai massage that she described as ‘divine’. Breakfast was included also and the restaurant is nice. Good quality of food also
The hotel is very close to the tram station that runs straight into the center of BRNO. There is a Penny supermarket approx 500m from hotel.
A very relaxing weekend with amazing views from one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

I stayed at the Orea Santon Hotel for a week. The hotel is quiet at night. Breakfast and dinner are good. Cleanliness is OK. The staff is friendly and speaks at least English. The tram and shops are nearby.
