The breakfast was very good and the room comfortable. The location is fine, although on a busy road - there is a nice walk to the city through a park. Free wi-fi. Firstly, one of the reasons that we booked the hotel was to have access to the pool. We found once we arrived that it was out-of-order. We should have been notified about this in advance. We had no hot water for the first 24 hours - this was fixed after a couple of hours, but how did House Keeping not know? The shower hose was also exposed from its metal casing and broke during a shower - this was again fixed quickly, but how did House Keeping not see it? There is no shower curtain which means you cannot shower without soaking the floor. The AC does not work - it only blows air. There was a lot noise in the evenings from youths drinking (illegally) outside the entrance to the hotel. Poor choice of TV channels.

Our company organised a 2-day meeting at the Cosmopolitan Brno Hotel. Accommodation with breakdast, coffee vreaks, half board, evening cocktails, neeting rooms, all perfect. Also very professional and attentive staff. Above all I really liked the style of the hotel!

A nice looking hotel. Three restaurants available. Amazing breakfast, pretty helpful staff, spacious room, great quality bed linen and comfy beds.. Only the heating system we haven't quite figured out. Otherwise definitely a pleasant stay.

The room was very spacious, 2 beds, 2 bathrooms, a living area and large wraparound balcony. The breakfast was great, large selection to choose from and unlimited tea, coffee, juice. Staff at check in and check out were great and food in the restaurant was delicious! Having a fridge was very helpful as we were staying whilst my partner had surgery, so I (non Czech speaking) was able to stock up on food before he went into hospital. Beds were large and very comfortable and there were tvs in both rooms. You could also close a divider to seperate the rooms a little. Staff in the restaurant happily gave me a teapot of hot water so I could make 2 cups of tea in the room but I have to go up and down 9 floors with this! Beautiful large balcony, it was lovely to watch people ice skating at night here. All in all, I would return, if the room was the same price, purely because of the size of the room (it was perfect for me to relax in and read books/watch tv shows whilst I waited for my boyfriend to be discharged from the clinic) I didnt feel trapped or cooped up like I might have done in a standard hotel room. When we entered the room we had both bathrooms available. We went out for food and upon our return one of the bathrooms had been locked. We used the shower in the second bathroom but it was leaking and leaving a puddle on the bathroom floor. The next day we reported it and by the afternoon it was fixed and the second bathroom also unlocked. The room is advertised as having a bath, it does not. I was a little disappointed but not too much. There is a hob but no pans, no tea making facilities and the windows can be quite difficult to open. This room was very very warm, even in February I had to open a lot of windows to stay cool. We also had to ask the technicians to come and fix the lights as there were no working lights in one of the rooms. My partner attempted to visit the gym the day before his surgery but he gave up because it was so busy and he didn't feel it was covid safe. Although the restaurant food was delicious the menu was very small which meant that most days I went across the hall to the grill instead.
