Bad luck visit. They just had a cooling system failure and there was no draft beer, only from PET bottles. Even so, the beer was drinkable. The food matched the beer. Pleasant service, they kept apologizing. Even in the summer heat, pleasant sitting under the glass terrace. There were water mist sprayers.
Very nice and clean location . Free parking . Very nice stuff , acceptable English . Room was nice and clean . Good air-conditioning system . Fabulous restaurant with their own beer , with 12 procent alcohol , I had never heard this before . And the food was delicious and incredible taste .
I and some of my family spent two nights at the Hotel Na Rychte, in Usti nad Labem. We arrived by train, and it is only about a two-block walk from the train station to the hotel. The rooms were clean and reasonably comfortable. However, on hot summer days you may want to request one of the air-conditioned rooms. Only some of the rooms have air conditioning, and those without it can get pretty hot in the summer. Noise was not a problem with the double windows closed, but when it’s hot you want to keep them open until fairly late in the evening to cool the room. The bathroom was clean, but was lacking space to put down toiletries near the sink, and the shower had absolutely no place to hold a bar of soap or shampoo. A large shopping center/mall is located very close to the hotel. The on-site restaurant has very good food at reasonable prices. Na Rychte has its own brewery, so beer is a featured item here.…
Service was a disaster even for Central Europe (I come from Slovakia and have been living in Czechia the last 10yrs so I know what I'm talking about and don't compare it with the West), the restaurant has prices comparable to those in Prague but with a much worse food and service quality, for sure don't go for salads, our waiter Vaclav didn't speak any word of German/English but it was fine cause I can speak Czech so I translated for my bf who didn't, when ordering the drinks we asked for tea and our waiter complained and told us that he doesn't know what kinds they have because he is a beer specialist and not a soft drinks specialist, he messed up the drink order and then blamed us for it. I don't require staff to smile all the time but being mean is a completely different thing. The salads we ordered almost for 180czk each were already premade (all ingredients were freezing cold), mine had lots of water in and seasoning was also very bad. Hopefully the traditional cousine will be better but in any case the service is terrible. AVOID IF YOU CAN!…
A really nice hotel/pivovar. Great choice of beer and food looked nice too. Staff were great and there is also a covered outer spot I guess for smokers. But it has a really nice feel and even though my Czech is basic they were lovely. Didn't feel as though I shouldn't be there.
Once again back in Usti nad Labem and again lunch at our favourite czech micro brewery/ restaurant / hotel. There is always a good selection on the lunch time menu and the quality is excellent. This is definitely the place to eat to get the flavour of good quality czech food and beer brewed on the premises.
Stayed four nights here the end of August 2018. This was a great value choice. The house brewed beer was pretty good and the food was traditional and hearty. We had two of our main evening meals here, beer and food very reasonably priced, and both good. The room was just fine. We opted for the large double with a/c. The room was large and comfortable. The a/c was great and with the remote control you are fully in charge of the temperature in the room (unlike some hotels on this trip that claim to have a/c but then the hotel decides just how cool you ought to be...if the a/c works at all). The wi-fi was great in our room, good enough for streaming and video Skyping. One morning it just crapped out, but I went down to the front desk and the nice young lady promptly reset the router and it was working just fine again. Pretty good housekeeping, although the first day the lady didn't make up the room but just appeared at the door with fresh towels and soap, but she did make up the room our last two days. They could stand to invest in some new bath towels, although she did give us a hand towel also one day and two hand towels another day. No wash cloths though. I didn't find a single English channel on the T.V., but then I didn't have to hear any fake news either. The included breakfast was adequate, but nothing to write home about, no toaster, but always a loaf of good bread to slice. They had scrambled eggs two mornings and fried eggs two mornings, the warm meat was basically weenies. Now my co-pilot said she really liked the cheeses and cold cuts they set out. I really liked the coffee from their machine, it tasted great and made a good start to my day. The hotel is right around the corner from the Usti main train station and worked out real well for our two forays into the Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland National Parks and our day-trip to Dresden. So with the large comfortable room, great working elevator, great air conditioning, very friendly and courteous staff, good location, nice covered beer garden for smoking, fast wi-fi, and real good overall value for the price, I would recommend this hotel to other folks traveling up Usti way.…
This is based on my visit to the restaurant. It opened at 10am, so I had to come back later. A lot of Germans were near the bar, more seating was in the back however I chose a salad from the set menu and ordered the Cherry porter which was advertised outside near the entrance. The beer was not, you could not taste the flavor of the cherry, perhaps I will try again as the hotel is near the train station and across from the shopping center.
3rd time back and have to say it is great and central stay while in usti,3 mins walk up from train station and rooms clean and basic.the beer and food are great also. great bonus on the free beer for when you have stayed before, bar staff friendly, reception staff very helpful and helped me out on printing my boarding pass for flight and on the morning of check out held my luggage while i waited for the next train to prauge, will be again to usti and will always stay here.
This hotel is situated right in the centre of Usti Nad Labem, literally only three minutes’ walk from the main train station. There is a new shopping mall and plenty of restaurants nearby so you are very well catered for. I was able to walk to Usti Nad Labem Zoo from here in just twenty minutes. The room was fairly basic but very reasonably priced, and had all the essentials such as a hairdryer, television and breakfast included. I absolutely definitely would stay here again.
