This hotel is so appealing to me that I felt like spending all my time in the room instead of exploring the city. Centrally located, with good parking, lobby is big, staff friendly and efficient. My room was on the 4th floor; extremely quiet, just amazing. Big room, though the beds were too narrow, odd. Bathroom very nice. Big tv, but no fridge. However, an iron. Breakfast is wonderful; I felt like eating more than I should. Room has nice decor, and wifi works very well. I guess it might be the best place in town.
Hotel is 4 Stars. My evaluation was between average and poor. Reasons were 2 points, the first was not right cleaning on toilet!! The second was broken mirror at shower room. Breakfast, parking and rest of equipment was ok. Hotel hasn’t any gym, or spa.
The front desk agent assigned me a room on the 3rd floor. When I woke up I found the marks in my skin. I did not pay attention. When I returned from my trip I brought the bedbugs home and I have the certainty I caught them at the hotel because the marks in my skin started there. It might be the best hotel, but the bedbugs raise doubts
I stayed at this hotel for business for 4 days. The first day, I went out to work and I came back and my room wasn't made, they just slightly cleaned the bathroom and left a cleaning spray on my desk, the bed wasn't even touched. The second day, I realised we had to put a card on the door asking for the room to be made up, which this time I used, they came into the room, didn't clean the bathroom, only removed my room service plates from the night before and folded the duvets! Third day, I left the card out for my room to be cleaned and the same happened, the bathroom floor was not cleaned ( it was full of hair as I brushed my hair in the morning, the cup that I used to rinse my mouth after brushing my teeth was not touched) the bed again they only folded the duvet and didn't even touch my pillows and left them as they were. Now room service, the first day I ordered with no problem, the gentleman was efficient and helpful, the second day, I called again expecting the same service, but of course not, the person that answered the phone first said he spoke English then I ordered my food and he continued to speak to me in Czech and then closed the phone in my face, I waited for 10 minutes to see if someone else that spoke English would call back, but no! so I called reception and informed them of what happened, they were helpful and placed the order for me, I had to call back to check where my food was, then a lady arrived at the door and handed me my starter and my dessert without my main! then after 5 minutes my main arrived, the handed everything in my hand, she didn't enter the room and didn't bring a tray or cutleries, I ended up eating my entire food with a small dessert fork! I tried to add the photos to show how they used to make my bed, but I am unable to upload it. Customer service is very minimal at this place.…
Location: The hotel is right in the centre of usti and very much accessible to auto routes. Rooms: Rooms are quite large and spacious. Cleanliness and hygiene was good Breakfast was good and was covered in my room price Parking - there are plenty of free parking available outside opposite the hotel
Hotel seems to be new and is straight in the city centre. A little difficult to find, because there are no road signs at all, so better use a GPS. Large rooms, well equipped and clean. I stayed there for three nights for a company conference and enjoyed the stay. Good breakfast.
Got a room on the 5th floor. A nice, clean, spacious room with everything one would expect to get in a 4* hotel. The bathroom, toilet and bathtub were clean, found no dust in the whole room. The receptionist was friendly and my check in was fast and easy. I was a little bit surprised by the final amount my bank charged. My room went for 150€ but my bank charged more (exchange rate). But I think, if the hotel charged me in EUR instead of CZK, I would have paid what I was expecting and that was the sum I was told by the receptionist (when I asked how much I’m about to pay in EUR). Good location, easy to find. One negative point: my room (whole floor?) has no WiFi. To me it’s not that important but for someone not from the EU, it might be quite important. WiFi is advertised as available.…
Very large rooms at good value price. The free WiFi was a bit weak and disconnected often. Very good breakfast with also some local specialties; I especially liked the coumin dotted bread rolls. Check-out was maybe a bit slow but everything was done in a very friendly and welcoming way.
Our son was playing in a hockey tournament in Bilina, the tour company arranged for us to stay in Hotel Clarion during the tournament. As part of our arrangements we were treated to a 3 course meal for supper. The meal was terrific, starting with soup, then schnitzel, to strudel. Good variety for breakfast.Although they made accommodations with the meal for some of the more picky eaters, my son was quite happy to find a tea kettle in the room so he could have his oatmeal. Rooms were spacious, clean. However, whenever you took a shower, you'd end up with a flooded bathroom. The shower door only covered about a 3rd of the tub and the seal did not work. There was no fan in the bathroom and our heat control didn't work. The room was large enough to fit in two double beds, but they only had singles so our family of 4 was split into two rooms. I know that is common in Europe, however, they put us on different floors. It made coordinating our day a little difficutl…
The positives: In good position - near the shops and public transport Large rooms, very pleasant accommodation Good breakfast Helpful staff The negatives: The wifi kicks you out every 15 minutes. Reading things on the internet or chatting to friends through Skype is a nightmare because you will lose connections several times during the chat! The shower has quite a weak power. If you are a female washing your hair, it is quite hard to get the shampoo out of your hair because there is not much water getting out of the shower. (Ecological water saving feature on the shower head. Good for the water saving, not good for you trying to wash yourself.) I love this hotel, I would give it 4-5 stars but not having enough water in the shower, and not having a proper internet connection, those are quite basic things in the 21st century, so I deducted some starts.…
