    A Decent Stay
The staff members are friendly and helpful. Local transportation tickets are available for purchase at the standard price. Lockers have no locks, but can be rented at the front desk. The facility is old and appears a bit on the rustic side. But overall everything is clean and functional.
Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your review. We are glad that our staff was friendly and helpfull. We wish you all the best and hopefully we can welcome you here again. Best regards, Ruzena and Sophie's Team

    Fantastic Stay
It was a lovely stay, a lovely room, and an amazing experience. Sophie's hostel is also situated in a great location. There are two things I would like to see improved for the next time we stay. Please do not publicly advertise that there is parking available. There was no parking on the street available when we arrived. We paid 550 czk per day for the paid parking at the hotel's underground parking across the street. Second, we hope there are more vegan options in their breakfast. Regardless, it was a wonderful experience.
Dear 542zachariahp, Thank you for taking the time to leave us this nice feedback. We appreciate your nice words about Sophie's Hostel and look forward to seeing you again in the future. Thank you also for the notes, we are happy to hear that you managed to find a spot in a nearby parking lot and please rest assured that we will do our best to improve our vegan options. With kindest regards, William & Sophie's team

    Overdue Review
Not only a great stay, but the hot, buffet breakfast is surely award-winning! Very clean, delicious and filling. I would recommend the scrambled eggs, but the sausages combined was unbelievable. Knowledgable staff and a friendly atmosphere completed my stay.
Dear Guest, Thank you very much for such a nice review about your stay and our breakfast. We are glad to hear that everything was alright and that you found your favorite breakfast place in Prague (hopefully). We hope to welcome you here again some other time. Best regards, Ruzena and Sophie's Team

The bathrooms were massive and always really clean (rooms super clean as well). Also, really easy to find and to get to from airport on public transport. My only cons were that they do no organised activities on the weekend. Also, the doors often got stuck and the keys cards would sometimes stop working. Overall though I would stay again.

Nice hostel, everything is clean and neat. Possible to cook and do laundry etc. They offer breakfast and have a cafe downstairs. Location is very good, about a 20 min walk to the city center. Only negative part is that they don’t organize social activities.

If you are looking for an affordable and well located accommodation, Sophie's hostel is the place. I had an amazing time at the hostel. The staff is very welcoming and made sure I had a pleasant stay. I stayed in the 5-beds female dorm. The space is clean, calm, recently renovated, beds are comfortable enough and the space is large with a nice bathroom and a kitchinette. It is close to IP Pavlova tram station and by tram you reach the center in about 15min. I definitely hope to come back! Thanks for the amazing atmosphere and service.

I spent a week in Prague with two friends. The room we rented from Sophie’s Hostel was spacious, our bathroom was very decent, and the beds were comfortable. The bar was very nice, and there was always a lot going on. The barmaiden, Neha, had the best tips on where to go and also made amazing drinks! She really made our vacation so much more fun! Another thing I liked was the language exchange activity on thursday where a lot of (international) locals get together to teach and learn. Lots of english, french, german, czech, spanish, and possibly even more! I would definitely recommend this hostel to other groups of friends!

Sophie's Hostel is probably the nicest hostel that I have ever stayed at. I stayed in a all-female dorm room. Having access to a kitchen and consistently clean bathroom was such a lovely amenity, and I consistently met kind people. The dorm was spacious so everyone had there own little area. I never felt like any of my stuff was going to be stolen. All in all, a wonderful and reasonably priced hostel to stay in while exploring Prague!

My friends and I did a 2 week Eurotrip and Sophie's was our favorite hostel. The beds were premade for us with clean, fluffy and comfortable bedding. The facility was quiet and the ensuite bathroom was amazing. We enjoyed the available breakfast and coffee. The only downside was the broken elevator, however it was fixed by our second day.

I stayed in a female dorm for 2 nights and it was perfect! The beds were really nice and the staff was lovely. Other than that, the room came with its own kitchen and bathroom. There was even a hairdryer we could use. I felt really at home there. I would definitely recommend staying here!!

I've been in this hostel for the first time in October/November '17 with my ex girlfriend and we took a whole apartment for us (well we werent aware that was SO BIG for us 😅). I knew prague and CZ because I used to live there for years. Then, after many years since the last stay I decided alone to come back again to this hostel and... Gosh. I traveled back in time with very nice nostalgia inside me, seems like was my home since then. The location is very particular and well placed towards Namesti Miru, but placed around IP Pavlova. With the right tram (10 or 22) you can go directly to Smichov or Karlovo Namesti. I appreciated the bar and the atmosphere. The staff are very gentle and available, even to my room request. The Sophie's bar is the very big deal here as it's a very very chozy and beautiful area where to chill and relax if you dont want to go out either. And... Also, brought me back in time 😊 Room rates are pretty much fair but during holidays is the norm to cost a bit high... Anyway will be my choice anyway if i want to go back to prague. I suggest it with my whole heart. Thanks for all of this.

I was kicked out of the hostel one night before leave with a small child. The communication was poor, unfriendly, the boss did not even have courage to talk to me. The stuff was nice, but knowing whats behind it, I´m really dissappointed.

Dear danielasD6869QR, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you had to go through all this trouble at our hostel. However, as you were informed by our staff, dorms are not the right place for little babies and since you refused the upgrade to a private room, we unfortunately had to follow the roles and make this decision. With kindest regards, William & Sophie's team
