Hotel staff friendly enough. Room floor was dirty on arrival but I think that might be because it hadn't been used for a while and it wasn't cleaned pre-arrival. After that it was cleaned well every day. Only one small rather flat pillow provided but extra available on request. Air conditioning a little loud but beds were comfy, we were... More

A nice place with good location only a few minutes to a metro station. Very good breakfast but no vegetables available. Very nice and helpful staff. We heard no noice outside but through the doors inside some at night. We were very happy.

Spent 3 nights here and enjoyed our stay. Prague is wonderful to visit and being 300 metres from the subway was a boon. Breakfast was wholesome and the ambience of the brick cellar added to it. Wifi worked well. Staff were friendly.Rooms were clean. No complaints.

I was worried about the proximity of the main road when booking, but my room (211) looked out over a quiet alley and I had no problem sleeping even with the window ajar. The room was a good size and clean, as was the bathroom. The only problems I encountered were a squeaky floorboard and the shower not staying where... More

I booked the hotel online and was a bit apprehensive as it was as cheap as some of the hostels. However when we got there I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was lovely and really close to the metro, although slightly out of the city centre (we were on foot but the transport system is brilliant) . The room itself... More

The House is located near a pretty noisy Street (passing cars and ambulances). The air conditioning in our room was out of service. We had to sleep every night the window open due to a central heating system unable to modulate the temperature. Impossible to sleep by 40 degrees inside and 10 degrees outside. At the reception, students explain to... More

I have just been there with my friend. For 4* hotel, it was real failure. Staff was ok, smiling, kind, however the hotel and equipment was standard 3*. We came to room, floor was dirty, shower was not holding position, bath was leaking so you couldn't actually take bath cause there won't be any water in few minutes. Also no... More

The Assenzio is a nice hotel with very polite and helpful staff! Unfortunately the water in the shower wasn't hot though and the breakfast didn't seem worthy of a four star hotel... It's in a great location, not too far and not too close to the old city and if you get a deal it's well worth a stay!

Our room was a bit shabby. There was dust on the floor and watermarks on the ceiling. Oddly beds had wheels (with no stoppers on them!) instead of legs, which made sleeping a bit unsteady. Service was nice and breakfast was good, standard hotel breakfast.

This is excellent hotel, Free wifi, mini bar and safe in the room ! People were little bit louder sometimes and windows were into the main street, so you could hear a lot of cars... However if you think of the position of the hotel which is like 10 - 13 minutes walk into the town centre, this is not... More

These are the origins of Assenzio Hotel in Prague: the careful restoration of this XIX-century palace was carried out by expert architects who were able to retain the original outer structure realized according to Prague’s traditional architectural style. Some inner patterns – such as the travertine staircase, the stuccoes which embellish both the hall and the ground floor and the brick cellar – are the most representative landmarks of this outstanding combination of ancient and modern architectural elements.Utmost passion and professionalism contributed to turn this Neoclassical building into a wonderful four-star hotel. ... more   less
