Nice small cozy boutique hotel with spacious quite rooms, polite staff, sauna and great location. Situated in romantic Lesser town (Mala Strana), it's just a few steps away from Prague castle with beautiful views from top or you can scroll over the Charles Bridge into the Old Town (app. 15 nice walk through historical part of town). Highly recommended :)
Very mixed feeling about the hotel, staff were polite, location was great - 10 min walk to the bridge 20 walk to old town. However our room (2) was at the top of the stairs i was kept awake every night by people coming in and out i felt like we were in a hostel it was incredibly noisy, the room was also very small not much like the pictures- I think we were just given the worst room!!! The bed was comfortable but pillows awful, breakfast was also very basic, meats/cheese/ and bread. But for the price the hotel did what we needed it too but wouldn't stay again.
The location was great. The castle/palace was just 10 minute walk up the hill. Down the hill was Charles bridge, which is a pedestrian bridge that connects to old and new Prague. The history of the hotel was great, but if you need space the room we were given won’t work. It was very cramped. Couldn’t stand up on one side of the room. No drawers to store lingerie. On the other hand The bathroom was wonderful. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Oh we had to hunt for plugs and no USB ports. We’d stay again but ask for a room like the picture🙂
Very nice small boutique hotel with perfect location in Lesser Town. Hotel staff was very friendly. Room was cozy and clean. I can recommend to everyone who is looking for a romantic weekend getaway in Prague 😊
Booked hotel through Voyage Privé. Fabulous deal and very well organised and administered. Hotel welcome very friendly and welcoming. Rooms very clean and comfortable and layout accommodating. Reception staff very helpful and keen to help. Amazing breakfast selection - as much as you want!! Very good location for all Prague sites and access. 10/10
Firstly I would like to thank all the hotel staff and especially Karolina Rikovska. My boyfriend and I really enjoy our short stay in your hotel. Breakfast was amazing. The room was spacious, the bed is so comfortable. And the thing I really like that there is L'Occitane cosmetics. Highly recomended this hotel to all Prague visitors. Thank you.
Just returned from a birthday weekend, had a wonderful time. The golden Key is a lovely hotel I had Birthday balloons and wine in my room on arrival which was much appreciated. Lovely selection for breakfast, lovely coffee and cake in the next door cafe. Hotel 5 minutes walk from the castle and situated right in the centre of Prague.
We are presently on our last night at hotel.Staff and Rooms are great cant fault it.Breakfast is nice l had different food items every morning..Hotel is in the old town on rd to Castle which is worth a visit. Some lovely buildings all around Prague food in restaurants has been lovely.Christmas Markets lm afraid not as good as Budapest..Would definately reccomend this hotel to people top class..Hopefully be back again sometime..
I came in rather late at night, but the hotel clerk was welcoming and friendly. I got settled in quickly and munched on the tray of delicious cookies left for me. Although there was a lot of street noise for a while, it died down when I was ready for sleep. My room was squeaky clean and well appointed, and a nice size for a European hotel room. Bed was comfy and cozy. Breakfast was quite nice, offering enough options for me, a vegetarian. The hotel is located just down the hill from Prague Castle, and a short walk from the Charles Bridge and St. Nicholas Cathedral. I walked almost everywhere, including over to the Old Town Market. I would stay there again.
The hotel is very well situated : little street on the way to the Prague castle, about 10min walk to get there and about 5min to get to the Charles Bridge, all by foot! The room was quite big, we had a direct access to the inner terrace and it was quiet. The staff was always very nice and full of attention. They even surprised us with some funny decoration in the room for my birthday. Thanks for everything! Only to be a bit peaky, we would have preferred having a double blanket than two singles put together. Other than that, all good!!
