Since the end of 16th century, the building of the Golden Key hotel – The house At the Golden Key Nr. 243 – has been a vital part of the architecture in Nerudova street. All important sights and institutions are within walking distance from our hotel. The Nerudova Street is perfect not only for its location, but it is one of the most romantic alleys in Europe. To watch its a bit sleepy morning awakening to a new day is an unforgettable experience. Explore Prague and its nooks with us, our motivated team will take care of you with love.

The hotel is centrally located with shops and convenience stores nearby. Close to Charles Bridge. Our spacious and clean room on ground floor had access to patio outside. The bed was comfortable and a fridge and coffee maker were available. We received a warm welcome from our receptionist and our room was available early. The friendly receptionist arranged packed breakfast due to early departure for the airport next day and provided us with a tea pot and tea bags given that we were tea drinkers. Highly recommended.

The Hotel is very clean and extremely comfortable. The beds are large with big, fluffy pillows, we probably had the best night’s sleep we’ve ever had in a hotel room. The staff go out of their way to be friendly and are great at suggesting things to do. The breakfast is typical European buffet style with lots of choices and plentiful. The hotel is on a lovely street which has many shops, bars and cafes on it. It’s a short walk to the Castle one way or a 5 minute walk to The Old town in the other direction. In fact our stay was perfect in every way.

Very mixed feeling about the hotel, staff were polite, location was great - 10 min walk to the bridge 20 walk to old town.
However our room (2) was at the top of the stairs i was kept awake every night by people coming in and out i felt like we were in a hostel it was incredibly noisy, the room was also very small not much like the pictures- I think we were just given the worst room!!! The bed was comfortable but pillows awful, breakfast was also very basic, meats/cheese/ and bread. But for the price the hotel did what we needed it too but wouldn't stay again.

Lovely hotel, nice rooms with great breakfast. Arrived at 1.00am & followed instructions hotel had emailed me & got into room nice & easy. Breakfast was very nice with a decent choice each morning. The room was spacious, comfortable & very quiet. The hotel is on the castle side of the river & up a bit of a hill, but in a great place if you use the hop on hop off bus as it stops about 200m away. There are plenty of places to eat & drink & watch the football within a short walking distance, as well as numerous small supermarkets. The staff in the hotel were helpful & really nice.
I will definitely return to this hotel on my next visit.

One of the most beautiful, most welcoming hotels we've ever stayed at. Everything about it was perfect: the location of the hotel, the room (so stunning and quiet!), the breakfast... I couldn't fault it. The staff really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and happy. A truly fantastic place.

A very nice hotel, with courteous, professional and helpful staff. The accommodation is very comfortable and food (I only had breakfast) very nice indeed. A great range of food options and again great service. Never having visited Prague before it was really helpful to have advice on places to go, directions to business venues and help with transport etc. Nothing was a problem - Michelle on Reception was particularly helpful to me on the day of check out. Highly recommended.

The location was great. The castle/palace was just 10 minute walk up the hill. Down the hill was Charles bridge, which is a pedestrian bridge that connects to old and new Prague. The history of the hotel was great, but if you need space the room we were given won’t work. It was very cramped. Couldn’t stand up on one side of the room. No drawers to store lingerie. On the other hand The bathroom was wonderful. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Oh we had to hunt for plugs and no USB ports. We’d stay again but ask for a room like the picture🙂

This place is beautiful, located just below the castle so really easy to reach that and the old town within 20 minutes walk. Had a room higher up with the preserved historical ceiling - really spacious, great decor, separate seating and table and chairs. Fab value for money, I thought
