Met at Reception by friendly staff who were very helpful, Quickly checked in (Remember the tourist tax) And given clear directions to our room. They had given us a higher up room as I requested (And pretty sure it was an upgrade on the room we booked, Thank you) And was met by a little Happy Birthday note and a Complimentary Bottle of Red for my wife's birthday (Again Thank You !) The Location is Great and only a few minutes walk from everything you need inc transport links to other parts of the city (we didn't use these as we ended up walking everywhere, 35 miles worth !!!) Breakfast was plentiful and loads of choice (Could do with another toast machine?!) And the coffee machine was decent as well. All areas of the hotel are spotless and lovely and clean Would I recommend the hotel? Dead right I would, Would we stop here again? Hell yes ! We sure will on our next visit to Prague :-)…
Don't let the fact that it's not in the old city drive you off this one. Prague is really easy to go around by tram, once you get the hang of it. Super clean room and bathroom, airconditionimg available, beautiful soft beds, wonderful breakfast, very polite staff at a reasonable price.
What an amazing stay. We arrived for a 4 night stay and were greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff who were very good indeed. Our room was spacious and immaculate just as the rest of the hotel was. Comfy beds and nice and bright. The breakfast was lovely every day and staff could not do enough for you and always with a smile. It was my 50th birthday while we were there and a bottle of wine was waiting for me on the day and a little note and it was a really nice touch. The hotel is a 5 min walk away from Wenceslas Square and the trams to get around. Some lovely local restaurants near by too. I would happily recommend this hotel and stay there again! Thank you.
This was my 3th time staying here. And everything is just always perfect. The location, the staff, the hygiene. Everyday the cleaning lady comes by to clean your room, and everyone is very friendly and helpful. It was my mom’s birthday and they give her a bottle of wine for her birthday. I love Prague and this hotel. Definitely 10/10 would recommend.
The location was ideal for us; it only took 10 mins to walk onto the old town. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a full on banquet with very attentive staff. Our room was large with comfortable beds and a modern bathroom. Room service was excellent. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean. Last but not least was the hotel bar which was friendly and laid back. We enjoyed a drink there most evenings. We can thoroughly recommend the Majestic Plaza. Thank you for a great stay.
very welcoming at reception very profesional ,the hotel was nicely decorated in the art deco style , as u go in the main doors on the left is a wee bar where you can lounge and have a nice relaxing drink with friends or family , they have a spa and things never used them so can't comment on them ,nothing is a problem for the staff very polite and do speak some english . the room we were in was on the mezzanine deck as my partner has slight walking difficulties but there r lifts, the room was clean and spacious and they also had a cubed multiplug with usb charging points which was handy, but take an extra adaptor with u just for convienance if u like and the bed was comfy ma partner and I slept well as ma partner can be a bit choosy lol breakfast is from 06:30 -10:30 and the restraunt is out the accomodation door and turn left before reception and it on ur right. before entering u get offered a wee glass of wine or something which is a nice touch, the breakfast itself was something else, u can have a continental style or a cooked one or have all together, plenty of pastries and even anybody who has ceoliacs (gluten free) they can have a very good choice as well and also gluten free bread on request. (máte bezlepkový chléb) "do u have gluten free bread" I showed them this on Google translate and they understood. They stopped doing evening meals in October as was coming to near end of season but was no bother as plenty of places to eat around the hotel. Wenceslas Square is to ur left out of the hotel and a 5-minute walk not to the right as the map I was using was a bit confused lol. to cut off about 10 minutes of ur walk to old town turn left down V.Jame street then turn right and let maps take u the rest of the way . but overall, very nice hotel and will be booking it again when over next year.U do have to pay a city tax of 50czk per person per night as with all hotels in Prague accept all cards or cash…
Stayed here as part of a tour group. Nothing but high praise for the friendly, helpful service, comprehensive hot or cold breakfast and stylish, beautifully maintained room. The old world decor was delightful. Thoroughly recommended.
We had a lovely stay at the Majestic Plaza , we found the reception staff very friendly and helpful. I forgot to pack my travel adaptor for my husbands shaver and asked at reception and they very kindly lent us borrow one. We had breakfast included and this was most enjoyable and i asked for a cheese omelette and this was made fresh for me. Our room was quite spacious and they provided us with a rubber mat for inside the bath as i am afraid of slipping. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family as it is located very close to Wenceslas Square just a 2 minutes walk .
Everything was great - gladly again. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were well equipped and very clean. The location is close to the center, a lot can be reached quickly on foot.
Lovely hotel 5 mins walk from the square, shops and restaurants breakfast is great lots of choice with different varieties. Rooms were very clean and attended to daily ideal location as it was very quiet so not disturbed only problem with the room is they need better pillows very light so not very comfy although the beds were great they needed a firmer pillow. Hotel staff are very helpful booked us a tour and also sorted our transfer out. Would highly recommend this hotel.
