Easy, quick check in. Good hotel - don't expect modern decor like the UK but has everything you'd expect from a 4* hotel. Big room and bath room. Great location we walked to everything. Tesco 2 mins walk. Didn't go to breakfast so can't comment. The only think I would say is the two single duvets were annoying for a...

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. Our room was very spacious with a big bathroom. The only complaint we have is regarding the bed.Our room came with d of twin beds instead of a double bed.The bathroom could do with a shower curtain or screen. The breakfast buffet was quite good there is plenty of choice. The location of the hotel is...

We stayed here whilst on a quick visit to the city. One can't argue that the location is not excellent. Prague old town and lots of other sites are within easy walking distance as well as transport nearby. The room was clean but dated and the sheets although washed looked as if there were old stains on. The staff were...

Check in started on the wrong side with a very rude and unsympathetic check in clerk. When I arrived he was alone at the reception desk and occupied looking at his computer screen, when I finally got his attention he angrily looked at me and just shouted "Yes?!!!" The room was simple and fair size with a bathroom that looks...

Visited here for my Birthday and Silver Wedding Anniversary. Checked in without any problems, room was large with a very large bed, shame about the two single duvets, which to be honest were a nuisance, spent half the time moving them back into place. The bathroom was good size, my only problem was the shower which is set above the...

We stayed here for a few days with friends. The location was amazing! Less than 10 minute walk to old town, a little bit further to the river (and bridge towards the castle), and right next to a shopping area. It is also close to this famous brewery restaurant. All in all there is lots of shopping, restaurant and bar...

Hotel beseda is really nice and the staff is very kind and friendly too. Our room was big and very nice except for the bed which was very uncofortable to me. Breakfast was great and the hotel is basically near all the most important places to visit in prague!

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
