We booked this hotel several months ago in preparation of a 50th birthday celebration to be held there in July 2012. Although I have been to Prague many times I have never stayed here before but the group of 28 of us who travelled from all over the world were extremely pleased with everything. We were warmly met at the...

We went in end of February (I highly recommend going during off season, weather was crisp and no crowds, you feel part of the city and everything is 40% cheaper. Our first day and time on the Charles Bridge it snowed for 5 mins, truly magical and the weather was sunny and crisp for the remaining) I got a deal...

Perla Hotel is a boutique type hotel with Asian-Oriental flavoured design. Was given a 3rd floor with Juliet-balcony room facing the building / shops. The room had all the necessities except tea / coffee making facility, you have to pay for it separately, don't know why. Overall this was a good hotel, located in the Old Town was perfect for long...

We booked this hotel after much searching, thinking that it would be worth spending a little extra for a 4 star hotel. Arriving at night, we went to our room which was clean but very basic and rather than worry about it too much at this stage we decided to head off to the hotel cafe bar to grab a...

The hotel is clean & modern. The location is wakable to every where worth going to. The breakfast buffett was way beyond what we expected. The desk staff speaks English and we had no problem getting directions or taxis. The one bad thing was the tub/shower is a potential slip and fall hazzard, but we found the same issue in...

The Perla hotel was everything I could hope for. Clean, comfortable room with a hip vibe. The bathroom was small but modern and the shower plenty hot and powerful. Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
