For five nights in June we stayed in a non-attic studio 15a which was more than large enough for the two of us but as it faced the street we had to keep the windows closed to not hear the tram bells all night. With the windows closed, the noise was no problem but only the attic studios had aircon and it was hot enough that we wished we could open the windows. The restaurant noise below was not a problem because there were two doors to the courtyard. We stayed in another non-attic studio at the end of our trip for our pre-flight night, number 16, and even though it didn't face the busy street, it had windows directly on the walkway which meant it didn't have as much privacy. Prefer 15a over 16.
The room itself had a clean bed, handy cooking area, fridge, tv, and a spotless bathroom with the typical European shower stall (no tub). No wifi in the room but you can get access to the free wifi from the restaurant below out on the inner walkway. There is also free access to a laundry room at their other apartments around the corner. Reception is only open limited hours but their phone number is answered all the time. We ran out of hot water the first night but when we told reception we had no problem after.
Access from the airport is a 26ck ticket for bus 100 to station then metro b line to andel and walk across the street. There are at least two exits and the wrong one dumps you out around the block.
As for food in Prague, the andel restaurant downstairs was very good. Full of locals. The strahov monastery serves fantastic cask beer and a very good salad with chunky tuna. You can buy non-FDA-approved Spanish jamon serrano at the Billa in the main train station. Surprisingly the pizzeria right up the street served better prosciutto pizza than we had in Italy! And drinking a dark beer in the main square in the afternoon is sublime.

Travel from the airport took about 30 mins, buy a ticket for about £1 from the airport info desk, get number 100 bus to Ziclin, then metro to Andel - the appartments are directly opposite the metro.
We shopped in the Tesco each day and cooked our own meals in the appartment, but there are also a selection of restaurants very close by as well as a food court in the shopping centre by Tesco.
24 hour transport passes cost about £3.80, and we enjoyed the trip up Petrin Hill on the funicular railway (great views of Prague from the top especially in thick snow).
I would 100% recommend these appartments, and when we return to Prague we will definately be using them again

Room: very spacious (not usual in Europe), with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, big and good lighting toilet, good ventilation in bathroom (when u switch on the bathtube light, the ventilation will be turned on automatically), etc.
Price: real good deal! only euro 59/night (peak season euro 69/night). I booked early, so the price was only euro 59/night even in June! yeah! :P Though no breakfast included, it's still a good deal!
Service: be honest, it's just so so. The staff would not be there 24 hours. After their office hour, u can only contact them by calling their cell phone.
Check-in and -out: Also because of the above reason, u have to tell them ur check-in time when u book the room, or u have to wait downstair with ur luggage.... The reception is on the 2nd floor. I have to ask the restaurant staff to locate me, I have to ring the bell to open the door, and take my luggage up to the 2nd floor for check in... And, if u check-out before or after their office hour, u can simply leave the key card on the table in ur room. But, as my case, my flight would be at night, I cannot leave my luggage in their reception, but take it to luggage safe box in Hlavni nadrazi train station. (the staff told me that Smichovske nadrazi station also have this service, but actually not)
Others 1: there is a large tram rail construction in front of the hotel, the noise starts at 6:30am everyday..... i don't know when the construction will end.....
Others 2: As other people suggested to book a room facing the street for more privacy, I got the room #13A on 3rd floor facing the street. But then.... there is noise of people from Andel restaurant/bar downstair till 2am, esp. Fri & Sat night.... So, it's a dilemma! :)
Others 3: no cleaning service within my stay. If u need extra shower gel etc., u have to take them at reception directly
Having stayed at one of the Andel apartments owned and operated by Resca's Unobase company as Residence Thunovska, I can only say that a great location and great employees don't make for a great experience if the company's proprietors try to cheat you out of your security deposit, taking advantage of you being on a different continent when the re-payment is due. Retaining a lawyer should not be part of ending a stay in a rental.
Manager Dean and maintenance lady Iryna were both wonderful to work with, no complaint there!
Otherwise, we like to eat in when we can so the built in kitchen was great. The apartments are clean and have plenty of storage albiet meek furnishings otherwise. The location is great, supermarket right around the corner and as mentioned in other reviews across the street from the Andel metrostation and close to other tram stops. My 4-1/2 stars has to be reduced to three because of the sleepless nights. I would other wise recommend the hotel but if there is another choice at the same price nearby you may not want to risk the issue we faced during our visit.
- At least in our room, very limited amount of furniture items; for example, absolutely nothing to put things on in the entry area and in the bathroom.
- Hot water was probably preheated somewhere, and though its amount was enough to take a shower, it was ending sometimes earlier than we'd like it to.
- Our room (15A) was facing the street and was looking on a tram stop. You cannot sleep with windows open unless using ear-plugs (which helps); try to avoid the street-looking rooms.
- Internet is ONLY cable, so bring your laptop. My PDA was useless. A cable is available from the reception I believe.
- The rooms are cleaned only once per week and before your arrival. Ours was very clean when we arrived.
A special note: In general, the location of the hotel is amazingly good, with direct cheap and fast public transport connection to everything in Prague (within 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel), next to a nice shopping area with many cafes and restaurants and the biggest Tesco supermarket I've seen in my life (very helpful, since there was a convenient kitchenette in the room).

Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. I also recommend the restaurant downstairs, the food is amazing.
The location is very near the subway and trams and close to the Charles Bridge.
