Luxurious design hotel is located in the very heart of the historical centre of Prague near the Charles Bridge and the Old Town as well as all other monuments. It offers a fantastic view of the Prague Castle and the Wallenstein Palace. Enjoy the harmony of the preserved renaissance interior and progressive design by the best Czech architects. All hotel rooms are equipped with unique design furniture, futurist bathrooms, air conditioning with individual controls, LCD television, DVD players with a rich choice of DVDs, high-speed WiFi Internet connection, a desk and a safe deposit. In the renowned Wallenstein pub you can engage in an unforgettable culinary experience. You can also enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink in the cosy lobby bar or the hotel's glass patio. Breakfast is served in the form of a rich hot buffet. An air-conditioned fully equipped conference room for 30 persons is available for conferences, business negotiations and presentations. A limited number of parking places is available directly in front of the hotel. The first mentions of the house, sometimes also called Altmann House or House at the Kings Magi, date back to the 14th century when, in this locality, the Augustinian Order founded the first Monasterial Brewery of St.Thomas. The only reminder of this period preserved until today is a large Gothic cellar. In the first half of the 17th century, the house was reconstructed in the Renaissance style and given the name of House at the Three Storks and a house sign embossed with three storks. Today's appearance of the facade comes from the Classicist reconstruction in 1794 and 1820, when the connection with three neighbouring buildings resulted in the current aspect of the whole house. The facade with the house sign on a stone plaque and the main portal date precisely from this period. In the 1930s, the history of the renowned Wallenstein restaurant, named after famous Czech aristocratic family and frequented by number of well-known personalities, started evolving in this house. The name of the House at the Three Storks has its implication. The stork used to be a carrier of good news and blissful home. We strongly believe that every visit to this house will comply with the Latin saying originally placed under the house sign: "Frustra mundus invidet, quando Deus providet" - "The world envies in vain, when God takes care."

    The perfect anniversary break
We spent a wonderful anniversary break here in Hotel Three Storks and have nothing but praise for the whole experience. From start to finish, it was all perfect. We arranged transportation with the hotel (private taxi) and this was a pleasant and smooth process. On arrival at the hotel, Michaela was so accommodating. She gave us recommendations for places to visit and had picked out a lovely room for us (complete with chocolates on the bed and a gift of red wine). For our anniversary meal, we visited Restaurant Mylnec (as recommended by Michaela) which was situated across the Charles Bridge. We had a glorious table overlooking the river and ate a superb 5 course tasting menu (well worth every penny). The restaurant even surprised us with an anniversary cake too. We took Michaela's recommendation for the Hop On, Hop Off tour the following day and enjoyed a leisurely river cruise as part of the ticket price too. This tour (on a small minibus all to ourselves) gave us a great overview of Prague and meant we walked everywhere afterwards as we felt we then knew the area well. We ate in the hotel restaurant on the second evening and were well looked after by the waiter. Great food here too. The hotel is steeped in history and it's so quiet and peaceful. Everyone is super friendly too. We loved the location of the hotel - a short and lovely stroll to Charles Bridge and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We were blessed with beautiful sunshine too. Thanks everyone, especially Michaela xxx

    Excellent Hotel and friendly staff
From the moment we checked in until the moment we left our impression of the hotel and staff was that the Three Storks oozed class and friendliness. The receptionists could not have been more helpful, advising us about Prague and where and what time to visit particular places, restaurants to eat in and trips to consider. Our rooms were large and beautifully furnished with great wardrobe and bathroom space. The breakfast was self service and had hot and cold dishes, cereals, breads and fruit. All delicious. The location was ideal, easy to cross into town or wander around the old town centre and up to the Castle. Convenient to the trams and metro station. I know that the next time we visit Prague we would not even consider staying anywhere else.

Very welcoming and friendly staff, Clean and lovely rooms. Would definatly stay again.
The location of this Hotel was perfect for my first solo adventure. You are in the heart of Prague, yet it is a very peaceful and relaxed part, where the Hotel is situated. As soon as I arrived they offered me a complementary beer which was well received. The staff are ever so welcoming and really do care about your stay. There English is very good so they easy understood what every your my needs may be. I spent one evening having a lovely chat with Petr (Peter in English). A very kind man. Everyone of the staff was so nice. Even while I was waiting to leave via taxi (which I booked thouht them) they really were concerned I was happy and asked if there was anything they could get for me. The rooms were very clean and met my expectations. It was also very quite (although I always where earplugs at night when away) I stayed in room 31 on the third floor. If you struggle with stairs then book a room on a floor below as there is no lift to the third floor which was not a problem for me. It was a lovely size room. Huge bed, Good size en-suit. Good free WiFi. I connect up my tablet to the there TV so I could watch Netflix to relax to before I slept. FYI, the wall socket adaptor needed is type E/F, not the standard 2 pin without earth hole, as they wont fit. The breakfast was enjoyable with a selection of hot food, cold meats and cheeses plus verious breads, juices, coffee etc. Over all, Hotel Three Storks made my visit a happy one and made Prauge that bit more special 😊

I booked this hotel based on the reviews and location. When booking through a 3rd party it can be hit or miss. Well this hotel was a hit and a score. I cannot find fault at all with our stay. From the beds, spacious rooms, wonderful breakfast, shower (water pressure - cleanliness - quality), and service - this hotel had it all. When you exit the castle, take the steps to the left and you are a few blocks from the hotel. Less than a km from the the bridge. The staff is so helpful and polite. I WOULD STAY AGAIN AND AGAIN! :-)

I am not sure where to start, but the minute you walk in the door you are greeted by Helena who is very nice and takes great care of you. You are asked to sit down, and David will get you a beer, roll, coffee or whatever you want while you relax and check in. They carry your bags to the room, and take fantastic care of you. Clean beautiful room. Breakfast was awesome beyond belief. What a great included perk. Every person that worked there we encountered really made our stay special. You truly felt like the cared and wanted you to be happy.

Absolutely Beautiful hotel, only wish we could have stayed longer. Very modern and extremely spacious rooms whilst retaining some amazing character and heritage. We arrived early and struggled to find parking, the staff insisted it was no problem and set about finding us a room early. A gentleman came out to help me move my car into their parking area and then insisted we both partake in welcome drinks. Due to availability our room was upgraded, lovely shower and hand painted ceilings. Nespresso style coffee machine and walk in wardrobe. The location in perfect, close to the castle, river and many tourist attractions. The staff recommended a fantastic restaurant for the evening. Will definitely be returning, thank you 😊

The price for the hotel was totally amazing so much so our expectations were low. The trip from the Airport is 15 minutes or so and the location is fantastic, right in the old town with the Castle above. Beautiful buildings surround the hotel and the hotel itself is old but with a modern twist. Location is second to none. Turn left and you are walking towards the Charles Bridge and a beautiful square with bars and shops. Turn right towards the Castle, Metro and more beautiful buildings. For the cost per night, we could not believe the superb location. Check-in was great, they give you a complimentary drink or coffee which is nice. Reception did try to sell us lots of tours and concerts but the welcome was wonderful. The hotel is old but has a very modern twist. The covered seating area is very cleaver as is the lift to our room. The room was modern with exposed beams reflecting the age of the hotel. Spacious and comfortable, it was superb in every way, clean and well-equipped. The bed was large and very comfy. The noise was very low so we were content. Breakfast was also superb, worthy of the 5-star score alone. Massive choice of hot and cold buffet and great coffee too. The best bit for me was that all breakfast items were marked with clear allergy information. The vast majority of food available to me was gluten free and gluten free bread was available too. I travel a lot and stay in lots of hotels - multinational chains and independents - and this was the best Gluten Free experience for me. Overall, a real Gem of a hotel. I hope lots of people read this review and visit, although I hope that doesn't mean I can't stop here on my next visit to Prague. In summary, a top-class hotel at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Great location in a quiet part of town, yet in the centre of the historic city. All sights can be reached by foot. Friendly staff and we had a huge room under the roof, nicely furnished with all you need. Would always stay again when I am back in Prague.

Perfectly located for a first visit to Prague. A peaceful location but well placed for the castle, riverside attractions & the old town. Staff were very attentive & saw to it that our every need was catered for. Rooms were well appointed and enjoyed super views up to the castle & cathedral. When we return to Prague, we will definitely stay at the Three Storks again!

As a base for exploring Prague, it would be hard to find a better hotel. It is quite small, and because of that its staff are able to offer a friendly and personal service. The accommodation we found to be excellent - a very well equipped and quiet room on the third floor. Breakfast was very good - ample choice of fresh produce - far superior to the inevitable tired buffet breakfast in larger chain hotels. The location is excellent - in a somewhat out of the way location below Prague Castle in the embassy and parliament area so well protected and safe. Access to old Prague across the river was an easy walk, and access to the Metro and buses and trams also good. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the Three Storks for 3 nights in January and had a wonderful trip. The hotel staff are really friendly and made us feel very welcome offering sightseeing advice. The hotel is situated in the centre of Prague and is around a 10 min walk to the Charles Bridge and Old Town. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast is served 7-10am and was self service buffet style with a good choice. There is a small bar area in reception which serves limited drinks. I would definitely recommend this hotel if visiting Prague.

Location 5 stars! Helena @ the Front Desk was both friendly and helpful, and Petr behind the bar made my birthday celebration one to remember with a token bottle of Pilsner. A lovely gesture that will be remembered. The hotel was a quiet retreat from the still busy winter crowds, a short stroll away from the busier parts of Mala Strana. The accommodation was comfortable and as expected. Just what we had hoped for on our first trip to Prague. Disliked · Personally, breakfast was a real disappointment. I always look at travellers' feedback about breakfasts and I read some great reviews about this hotel, however, it was mostly a continental buffet, as the hot selection was not just minimal but unfortunately stone cold with relevant catering staff mostly in hiding. Cold sausage, cold eggs, cold scrambled egg, no bacon, and with green beans??? This was my only criticism. Sadly, there was nothing 'hot' on offer.
