We arrived in Prague by taxi (which we would recommend) and couldn't believe how lucky we were with our choice of hotel, it was in an excellent location just below the castle. From our upgraded room, which was huge, we had the view of the castle, The Three Storks is a Boutique style hotel, the staff were so helpful, nothing... More

The bedroom has a good size, very clean and quieter. It is not luxurious, but a good price for what we get. The Concierge, Marie, was fantastic, she gave us some hints of where to go for lunch and dinner, and we loved!!! Excelent hints. Thanks to Marie.

A fantastic 3 nights in Prague, in what must be one of the best hotels in the city. The location was excellent, with Charles Bridge, John Lennon wall and a host of bars/restaurants all within a few minutes stroll. The room we were given was amazing and also received a courtesy bottle of wine and welcome glass of bubbles from... More

This hotel is perfectly located within easy walking distance of the Charles Bridge and the castle with several restaurants and shops nearby. Even with the central location, the neighborhood is quiet. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the property itself was modern with comfortable rooms and good services. We will stay there again.

The staff are friendly. We were able to walk to Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. The room was massive and airy. I loved the breakfast - as good as much more expensive hotels. The bar is reasonably priced. I enjoyed my white wine.

Didn't know anything about this hotel and had never been to Prague. Check in was great. Michaela was a wealth of information and beyond helpful. Place was very centrally located about 5 minutes walk from Charles Bridge and at the bottom of the hill for Prague castle. Room was 31 which was on the top floor. Lift only goes to... More

Hotel Three Storks has everything - amazing central yet very quiet location, lovely rooms, spotlessly clean, great air conditioning, and loads of charm and beauty. It is the ideal Prague experience and staying in Mala Strana is still central and better than Old Town.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Luxurious design hotel is located in the very heart of the historical centre of Prague near the Charles Bridge and the Old Town as well as all other monuments. It offers a fantastic view of the Prague Castle and the Wallenstein Palace. Enjoy the harmony of the preserved renaissance interior and progressive design by the best Czech architects. All hotel rooms are equipped with unique design furniture, futurist bathrooms, air conditioning with individual controls, LCD television, DVD players with a rich choice of DVDs, high-speed WiFi Internet connection, a desk and a safe deposit. In the renowned Wallenstein pub you can engage in an unforgettable culinary experience. You can also enjoy a cup of coffee or a drink in the cosy lobby bar or the hotel's glass patio. Breakfast is served in the form of a rich hot buffet. An air-conditioned fully equipped conference room for 30 persons is available for conferences, business negotiations and presentations. A limited number of parking places is available directly in front of the hotel. The first mentions of the house, sometimes also called Altmann House or House at the Kings Magi, date back to the 14th century when, in this locality, the Augustinian Order founded the first Monasterial Brewery of St.Thomas. The only reminder of this period preserved until today is a large Gothic cellar. In the first half of the 17th century, the house was reconstructed in the Renaissance style and given the name of House at the Three Storks and a house sign embossed with three storks. Today's appearance of the facade comes from the Classicist reconstruction in 1794 and 1820, when the connection with three neighbouring buildings resulted in the current aspect of the whole house. The facade with the house sign on a stone plaque and the main portal date precisely from this period. In the 1930s, the history of the renowned Wallenstein restaurant, named after famous Czech aristocratic family and frequented by number of well-known personalities, started evolving in this house. The name of the House at the Three Storks has its implication. The stork used to be a carrier of good news and blissful home. We strongly believe that every visit to this house will comply with the Latin saying originally placed under the house sign: "Frustra mundus invidet, quando Deus providet" - "The world envies in vain, when God takes care." ... more   less
