I stayed here for four nights and thought it was a good choice. Well located in Mala Strana, just a couple of minutes from the Charles Bridge and right next door to St Nicholas church and the town square through which several trams passed often. The staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was adequate, just, especially the continental version, and my...

Excellent quality for the price. Perfect situation in the city, close to Charles Bridge and the Old City. Exceptional staff !!! Never had such a service. They even prepared a doggy bag with the breakfast because we'd to leave at 7am !!!

Avoid at all costs total rip off and would never stay here again. It's more of a B&B rather than a hotel. And I have stayed in better hostels Let's start with Breakfast unappetising and boring. If you are not down by 8 the bread is cold and stale. The scrambled eggs are watery and the selection I have seen...

I really liked this location on the Castle side of the river. Much calmer. The Old Town was just swarming with people on a hot summer day. Nice choice of restaurants all around the square. We had a 2 room suite with plenty of room to spread out. Corner room had an amazing view of the square. Tram line right...

My sister and I came in and all seemed fine. We got our food, it tasted fine. It wasn't until I saw a waiter blow hot air from his mouth onto a spoon to "clean" it before placing it on a coffee saucer to go serve it that I felt gross. Then we ended up paying more because when I...

Stayed in the family suite for two nights. Location was good, parking lot across the street about 40€ a day. Staff was readily available and friendly, room was relatively clean. Family suite consisted on one full bath and two large bedrooms, one with king sized bed, single bed and crib and second room with King size bed, futon that could...

Nice and clean little hotel with restaurant. Located walking distance to Charles Bridge. Nice continental breakfast. No need to look for dinners somewhere else. We had very good dinners in the hotel with great choice of typical Czech dishes

Traditional Czech resturant serving good quality food at a reasonable price. Service a bit slow but food worth waiting for. Would recommend. Beer good. Not far from Charles bridge and tram 22 stop. Extensive menu something for everybody.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
