The hotel was very nice. We went during November ,but if it were sunny, we could have opened the sun roof !! We enjoyed our stay! I'd recommend this hotel. The receptionist was very amicable and helped us arrange for a few daily things we forgot to bring in.
This is a great value hotel, and feels like it should be higher up the scale than what you pay. The location is amazing 10 mins to Wenceslas Square and 20 mins from Old town and Charles Bridge. If you want public transport, the tram is right outside and 2 mins gets you to the underground The Hotel itself, breakfast is great, all you can eat, with hot (warm really) and cold buffet style with good hours from 0630-1000 The room's let it down a bit in my view, we were on the 3rd floor overlooking the small busy square. Secondary glazing makes it quite, but no ventilation, apart from air con which is not ideal. The let down (for me) a soft bed and soggy pillows, even if you ask for an extra one ,they just mangle up under your head. If you judge your bed by what you get in a premier inn then this falls below. Great bathroom with free liquid shower gel and moisturiser Kettle and cups with tea and coffee, only has powdered creamer but we acquired extra milk sachets from the various eateries we visited!! The room cleaning was good Lifts up and down great And the mainly young front desk staff could not have been better, giving advice on travel, and anything else you might want to know. So the beds for me make it overall four tripadvisor green dots. We booked through easy jet holidays, flying from Bristol, total price including breakfast for 3 nights (also included a hold bag each which we did not use was £160 each. A warning, if you have shakey knees or ankles, the pavements are tidy and clean but largely small flat cobbles, and then the road crossings are larger cobbles, which will affect anyone with any level of arthritis in the lower joints. Not withstanding that there are lots of public transport options. Overall a great hotel and lots to see in Prague, but as a post script, Prague is shutting down a lot of it's museums and galleries and classical music events due to the dreaded Koruna Virus…
Friendly, clean, very near the metro stop with lots of shops nearby. Breakfast very good with gluten free options; can go until 10am. Staff very helpful and entire place very clean. Would come back. Beds very comfy and bathroom great - good sizes.
Just got back from a 3 night stay in Prague with my boyfriend and this hotel was lovely. The most impressive thing about the hotel is the front of house staff on reception, very welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. We had a superior double room, bed was large and comfortable and bathroom was also a decent size with a great shower. Breakfast is ok, what you would expect, mix of continental and hot food, does the job. Hotel is a 5/10 min walk to top of Wenceslas square but a good 20/25min to the Old Square (nice walk though) however tram and metro right outside hotel if you would rather catch a ride ! Would recommend this hotel and we really enjoyed our stay!
The excellent Clarion hotel was set in a good area with plenty of places to eat around location the hotel rooms very clean and spacious hotel staff very friendly and helpfull especially at reception. Breakfast had an ideal choice of hot and cold food. The location ideal for catching trams (which were easy to use and brilliant) to various locations around city. The city itself was brilliant 10 out of 10 for christmas overload fantastic. We will visit Prague again in the future and highly recommend this hotel.
