We were family of 3 on a short tour to Prague . Our check in was fast. The room was clean and well kept. Morning breakfast was good and we had good vegetarian options like pasta , sauted vegetables .the entire team was courteous and friendly. The hotel is so well located, close to tram and metro Good eating joints nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Clean and comfortable - really appreciated the Air condition. Easy access to city centre - around 30 mins walk, few minutes on tram (stop 50 meters away) or BOLT cars. Very eco friendly hotel - very impressed with signs highlighting this and even the room key card is made up of wood rather than those hard plastic. Good breakfast and very helpful staff.

I really wanted to like this hotel but OH BOY is there a lot going against it. First, I’ll start with the positive. It’s affordable, clean and functional. The receptionists were all very lovely and helpful. Breakfast is was serviceable (but not free as the TripAdvisor page suggests. You must pay for breakfast). The place is small and generally unimpressive, but you won’t be spending a lot of time in the hotel on a holiday regardless. So it was perfectly functional which was great. Now, time for the bad. I woke up with bed bug bites all up my foot and leg the first two nights. The first night, I thought maybe I was just paranoid. I tore the bed apart, found a black splotch on the mattress but couldn’t see any bugs. I went down to reception, asked for them to check the bed for bed bugs. They were very helpful and sent someone up to check and clean the sheets. They got back to me and said that they couldn’t find anything, saying “it was probably just a mosquito or something” despite the fact i had around 10+ bites after one night. So I shrugged it off and went to sleep again. Woke up with more bites the next day. The hotel was fully booked so I couldn’t get another room. So I was stuck in this room. I was only staying one more day so part of me thinks they might have just let me sleep there one more night so they could deal with the problem when I was gone. Instead of staying in the room, I decided to book a hostel room across the street since there didn’t seem to be anything else I could do. I had kinda just been left to deal with the problem by myself since they didn’t see anything when changing the sheets. And if anyone is wondering “what if you got those bites walking around outside?”. These bites were in places that were completely covered when i was out and about. The only time I could have gotten but was when I was stripped for bed. And the bites were in the patterns that bed bugs bite. I can’t tell you to not go or to not book this hotel. This is only my bad experience. I can firmly say this is the worst hotel stay i’ve experienced. If there wasn’t the whole bites problem, it would have been a perfectly serviceable hotel. But I can’t deny my own experience for the sake of being nice. It’s a shame.

It is a good friendly budget hotel, it's old you can see that on the doors and floors. The pillows are the worst. But overall it is good for the price. The area around the hotel is not the best at night, you might see people on drugs or asking for money, I wouldn't walk at night with my kids in that area. Overall it is a good option. 20-30 minutes walk to the turistic area and the tram it's 1-minute walk. The breakfast was good. The staff is very friendly and helpful

I booked this hotel using Choice rewards points for an (American) first-timers' trip to Prague. While it is a 'budget-friendly' hotel, I was pleasantly surprised that it is updated, quite clean, and comfortable (what more can you ask for?). Pros: - Front desk staff is very welcoming and helpful - Price is reasonable and accommodations are worth the value - Air conditioned rooms! Free wifi! - Free breakfast!! this was my biggest pro, and way better (in my opinion) than the free breakfast you get in the US. On less busy mornings, eggs and other hot dishes were actually cooked to order rather than sitting out all morning. Plenty of offerings for all palates. - While housekeeping was limited, as it seems it usually is these days, they did come in and empty trash and refresh toiletries daily without request. - Close to metro (2 minute walk away). It is actually very easy to figure out the public transit system in Prague, and much cheaper than a cab or Uber. We got from the airport to the hotel using train and metro for 1.5 USD per person! - Express grocery store and a pharmacy can be found a short walking distance away for any needs that may arise during your stay. Cons (ok not really cons, just things to note if they are important to you): - There is no restaurant/bar/room service - No pool - You will walk at least 10 minutes (if not 15-20) to any tourist attractions. This was not a problem for us, as we enjoyed the exercise and being slightly 'off the beaten path', but is worth noting. - The tub is very deep. My tall partner had no issues with this but my short self had to be careful getting out. Could be difficult for those with mobility issues. If I come back to Prague, I would consider staying here again.

Staff were lovely and very hard working, room was clean and modern. note the view from rooms at the back of the hotel (see photos) look out to a roof and other apartment's so ask for a front facing room. no bar down stairs so not great for a evening coffee or drink but sitting area was nice. it was a bit of a walk to the main tourist spots. they were happy to store luggage until time to leave for our flight home

The front desk staff, especially Martin, were great! The room itself is clean and comfortable but a bit plainly decorated. The AC worked great and kept the room nice and cool at night. The breakfast buffet had a decent spread and provided a good breakfast every day before going out to explore. It's very centrally located and reasonably priced. I paid 8,000 choice points per night, but the cash price is very reasonable as well. I would recommend staying here if you don't need anything fancy but want a clean room with nice staff that is located in a great location.

This was the second time we stayed at the Prague Clarion on Tylovo Namesti. There's a reason for that. We chose it again because it fit our needs to a T. It's near transportation. It's near restaurants. It's near things to do. But also because we had a great stay here back in October 2022. The rooms are spacious enough for two people. They are clean, simply decorated, and up-to-date. The bathroom has plenty of room to spread out. And at the breakfast buffet we got to make sure we had at least one filling and tasty meal a day, even if we couldn't decide on what to eat as a group later. So many choices! And the staff is fantastic. From the front desk manager to housekeeping staff to those who run the dining room, they were all friendly, professional, and caring. My only difficulty was getting in and out of the tub. I'm short and the sides on the tub are high. Once in, the water pressure is firm and hot water is there right away. All of this and a lovely view of the square from our window, We plan on visiting Prague again in the fall. I know where I want to stay!
