It could just be me, but whilst without doubt Prague still has beautiful architecture and some good culture if you look for it, it does seem to now be very much just like any other tourist destination and the previously interesting antique shops and very individual markets have become very commercialised. The presence of sex shops and (in the main square at least) grumpy waiters does't help. It is a shame and presumably how many eastern European cities have now gone in the constant drive towards the seeming delights of commerce and tourism.

City is wonderful at any time but during December it becomes a see of lights and markets. Wonderful food as usual and the cultural history ooses from every building. Enjoyed both paid and street entertainment. The Ballet was magnificent and the live free stage concerts in the Old Square were brilliant.

Prague is a beautiful city , though the markets were somewhat disappointing as the majority are all the same - we stayed I pytloun hotel which was fab and the staff were amazing, but even though the room is finished to a beautiful standard,it was far to small. Overall we had a good stay but I Don t think I would return.

Lovely clean City.Easy hop on/off buses. Buildings architecture beautiful. Gripe - no maps with any other other language. Unlike London which caters for most. 'YOU ARE HERE'arrow would be useful! Definately NOT wheelchair friendly! Wheelchair user we met was turned away from cafe's, shops and couldn't use public transport.

Nice old city, nice people and good food, you will only wish to have more time to visit and explore this amazing city. Be aware if you need to change currency, in the centre there’s a lot of shop that change currency with a very hight transaction fee

this place iis the worst we have ever stayed in the staff were ignorant and unhelpful the whole place was dirty. the mattress were about 2 inches thick. we asked for a kettle it did not work we asked for another one, it turned out the plug did not work. so we were told to pull the bed out and use that one. which made it very difficult to make a cup of coffee, we were told it was near the city centre it is a good half hour walk. all I can say is don't go there

I had never considered visiting Prague until a co-worker kept pushing me to visit. Amazing beauty. Old town is like a slice of centuries old life. Castles, Charles Bridge, Old Town, Clock, the list goes on and on! If you are looking to travel, definitely make this city a stop on your itinerary. Don't miss it, please!

Staff are not nice they don’t know how to treat tourist, very rude attitudes to customer. Building has no lift you’ll be breathless when you’re room is on the fourth floor. No kettle, no hair dryer in the room. The only nice is the breakfast the lady who serves breakfast is lovely. I don’t recommend this place for your holiday

Fair value against price. WiFi fair. Breakfast good - acceptable selection. Reception staff depends on individuals, have a good experience with a young lady and less customer oriented experience with a guy.

We recently went to Prague city and what a lovely city it is, like all city's it's busy day and night, but Prague has so much history it's worth going for that, they have a clock tower which dates back to the 1400s, we went up the clock tower and seen the city from the top it was a fantastic view a must. We went on the Charles bridge across the river to another tower and the view is lovely, if you like your history then this place is for you, the buildings around the city are amazing and lovely to see, the food is great and the beer, we will be back.
