Where to start, from the moment we arrived it was an awful experience. The receptionist was rude,un helpful and slow. The receptionist first words to us were NO NO NO which left us puzzled as to what he was referring to. Our room looked as if it hadn't been cleaned, there was blood on the floor and walls, the bed sheets were filthy, the shower did not work properly and you had to hold it. Our toilet/shower room had a glass window on the door so no privacy what so ever. Breakfast was tomatoes, cucumber and toast. The hotel advertises free Wifi but it didnt work very well. I would strongly recommend not staying here unless you like the sound of all of above. I Would not stay here again even if I was paid!

When we first arrived we were put in a very poor twin room (when we had booked a double), which had a overwhelming smell of stale tobacco, very poor quality beds and no shower. After complaining to the man on reception we were moved to a much better quality double room in another part of the hotel. While the room itself was an improvement, the sheets were a little dirty and the location on the ground floor meant that it was noisy all night long.

Breakfast is extremely poor, stale bread, day-old boiled eggs and unclean glasses, whatever you do do not have the breakfast, go elsewhere.

you get what you pay for, and maybe a bit more.
if you're used to budget travelling, you'll be pleased with this place but not blown away.
free wifi, very helpful reception( from the man), many services on offer, etc...
I did not eat at the restaurant next door, there is a convenience store directly across the street for basic snacks.
The major drawback for some: it's not in the downtown area. It's a good 20-30 min walk, or 4 stops on the tram. not bad. so it's very quiet at night, and you can pop out for drinks/food and not be ripped off by downtown prices!
if you are taking public transport, read up on how to reach the hotel from the airport...you'll be using it all: bus, tube, tram, walk....

Beautiful city full of wonderful monuments we did two walks a two hour night walk very interesting but if you go in December be sure to wear warm clothes and shoes ! Then we did a six hour walk with a pause for lunch during the day but be careful night falls early in Prague 4.30 more or less . The walk was very interesting! We also saw the Xmas markets and the famous squares plus crossing the river seeing the lovely bridges and up to the cathedral and palace. Of course we also saw the famous clock and were able to see it striking the hour !The only negative points are the inhabitants they aren’t very friendly and the food isn’t great but the town is well worth the visit!

Surprised with such an amazing city, with all the beauty ancient buildings, romantic environment, very busy in the night, where you’ll find too me at options to expend your time, too much to see and do, I went for a 3 days trip, and I’d still missed lots of places... one week will be more certain to expend here, or more!

I’ll be back! Strongly recommend!

The central areas of Prague should be avoided by discerning travellers. It is the worst tourist trap I have experienced in my visits to many places around the world.

Milling throngs of people walking around the streets and alley ways doing just what?

Walking until they stop to eat and drink at one of the many cafes and restaurants in the Old Town square area. Once there, be prepared to be exploited as never before. And by the most unpleasant waiters I have encountered. I thought the Russians were the masters of surly, dismissive service. Wait till you get to Prague!
And people whose paid employment is to help people are particularly unhelpful.

Want my advice? Give the very overrated Prague a miss and go to Berlin instead.

I stayed here having booked well ahead. The room was very good with en suite toilet and shower which was a real bonus. I arrived very early in the morning but the staff in reception were very helpful and I was directed from there around the corner to the building where I was staying. Great location and price considering the service. I would recommend this company to anyone. I had a quiet stay but I guess this was just the luck of the draw but speak as you find

This was a lovely, coach tour with Leger Holidays which gave you a taste of four European Capital cities, none of which we had ever visited before. Whilst Prague and Vienna were the two we most wanted to visit I have to say Budapest and Bratislava were our favourites, but all four were beautiful. The two drivers/guides we had, Gareth and Nigel, were excellent and kept us both informed and entertained throughout the nine days. The hotels we stayed in were of good quality, yet all very different. Most were close to the cities except the one in Austria which was in a beautiful, countryside location with wonderful views. The trip was half board, with good buffet breakfasts in all the hotels and evening meals that were, let's say, variable in content, some buffet, others table service, but generally okay, so we only had to buy lunch each day. There were a very good range of optional excursions, including two excellent lunch cruises, one in Prague and one in Budapest. The only downside was the the coach journey from Vienna back to Brussels for our final night. (Incidentally Brussels is just an overnight stop hotel so you don't get to visit the city.) This was exceptionally long (12 hours + including stops) and, for many, travelling to Prague and from Vienna by the plane option available might be a more acceptable alternative, although much dearer.
Having said that by doing that you miss seeing the different landscapes and scenery travelling through the different countries. Nevertheless travelling Silver Service made it a little more bearable and overall we had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday, helped by the lovely summer weather we had throughout.

Hi spent ages looking for the right place to be able to walk to the Railway Staion early morning. This place seemed ideal. In an area we knew lots of Bars & Restaurants away from the main centre. Looked at review and the photos and the facilities offered. Booked a double room after seeing the pics however when we got there we were sent to an adjacent building that was part residential, smelt of stalesmoke the foyer was dismal and dirty. No Lift had to walk up to third floor with all our luggage. When we got into the room I could have cried it was nothing like advertised or what we had booked. It was not a double but a room for 4!!!!!!! with 4 single beds also spilt drink marks all over the walls. To top it off the Wifi was non existent, the facilities offered were only available upon request at reception - yes in the other building !!!!!!! Would not recommend this Hotel ( I use the phrase lightly) to anyone. More of a Hostel than a Hotel.

4/5 days in Prague and only found rude disrespectful people who’s only intentions are to rip tourists off.
We are fairly well traveled - But this is the worst city we have ever come to
AVOID Prague like the Plague

Hi. I don't know what they means with "multishare room" but i can say you I sleept in a room with 6 beds (we were just two and nobody to share). I think it will look like something similar. The hotel is not near the city center but it's closed to tram stop (about 200mts. Take nr.9 or nr.5 but keep informed for the night cause there are some others tram's numbers). The underground is not to closed, I think 1 km. It has two different stocks and it's suitable for youngs. It has no lifter. and in the night you could hear some noises 'cause the building is to old. If you'll come by plane, take bus nr.119 just to the deadline + tram nr.26

Hello, the most comfortable way to get here is by taxi. Then, in my opinion is: From the airport you can take bus number 119 to the stop called Nadrazi Veleslavin. Here change for metro to the stop called Mustek. Take the exit front (not back) and go upstairs to the tram number 9 (direction "Spojovaci") to the 4th stop "Lipanska". Then walk back 150 metres, and turn right to Milicova street, and then left to the 1st street (Stitneho) where you can see our pension in next 50 metres. For all this journey (taking about 60 minutes) one needs just a single ticket (valid for 90 min) for 32 CZK which should be punched only once, when getting on the bus. You can buy the tickets from the ticket machine (EUR not accepted).
