We have just finished our 2 week stay at this hotel & we had a great time. We were on the 7th floor with views of the forest & it was beautiful. The room was spacious with separate toilet. It was clean & well looked after with the cleaning done everyday. Every member of staff we met was polite & helpful. Particularly the boys on breakfast who assisted us with the public transport (193 bus takes you to Budêjovická subway station or 138 bus takes you to Kacerov station) Special thanks to Adela who was amazing with everything we asked for!! She helped with food delivery,Czech websites & some general stuff where she went above & beyond for us. I'd also like to thank the cleaners. Who (despite the language barrier ) provided my favourite fruit tea bags everyday! The breakfast has a wide variety of cereal & hot food on a buffet. Plenty of coffee, juice & pastries! Although this hotel is further out of the centre it's quiet & a really beautiful area. We took many forest walks & there are plenty of parks which kept our daughter occupied (20 months old) It's sad to see negative reviews but everyone is entitled to their opinion. If we needed to we would stay here again though because we had an excellent experience

Warning to English speaking visitors Front desk is not friendly and you will have to pay daily for parking even it your reservations say FREE Parking. Ripp off Hotel. We had a bad experience as soon as we arrived to the Hotel. The front desk guy "Petr" is not a kind person. We asked him a simple question about parking and where we should park since they had the front parking closed off. He then told us we had to park in the rear and we would have to pay daily for parking. We informed him our reservations stated we had free parking. He then snapped at us and his face got red telling us if we didnt book our room from their website then parking isn't free. We explained that Expedia clearly shows on our reservations we have free parking. He then told us if we want to park at the hotel we have to pay. Doesn't matter what Expedia says. They know how to screw people over. Nobody would ever know this hotel existed if not for Expedia, hotels.com or booking.com. The rest of the staff was very friendly and kind. Petr continued to be rude until the last day and a there was a new lady at the front desk. She was way better with service than Petr. Bathroom shower is short, no shower curtains and the water is light brown. Don't drink the water. Plus take your valuable belongings out of your vehicle because the parking area behind the building is sketchy and dark. Theres no entrance to the building from the parking area so you have to walk all the way back around the hotel to get to the front entrance. Easy for someone to get robbed or car broken into.

Dear Graham, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. We are very sorry to hear that you were not happy with the stay at our hotel. First of all, I have to tell you that parking is free just for our guests booking directly on our official website..next time you should read more carefully.. There is nothing sketchy about our parking lot... it's a normal parking .. there wasn't any car robbery ever... Furthermore, our water is a normal clean drinkable water ...your review is partly ridicilous.. Our hotel is a four star hotel with huge rooms and very good price...you have to pay for parking almost everywhere in Prague... Anyways I hope you had a nice time in Prague. Have a nice day! Best Regards, Adela W., Sales & Marketing Manager

We visited here for four nights in September/October and the hotel itself is lovely! Very clean and decently presented for the price you actually pay to stay here! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The staff were also very helpful and their English brilliant when we needed anything. If your going on a tourist holiday this is the downside of the hotel. Your completely out of the way and it’s around an hours public transport into Prague city (£4 per day) and the closest down is around 20 minutes on the bus. Overall we had a lovely time here and Prague itself is a very decently priced placed to visit.

Very disappointed with the standard. It says 4 stars, I would give not more than 2. Spacy rooms but with poor design and quite not attractive interior. Breakfast was a disaster - Old sausages and hams. The Service was very slow and sleepy. Not a good choice!

Dear Joanna, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback following your recent visit to our Hotel Rezidence Emmy. I was sorry to learn that we did not meet your expectations on this visit, especially as it relates to the service, breakfast and rooms. First of all, our hotel is a definitely a four star hotel with proper international certification, usually are our guests really satisfied with our rooms. You are definitely not qualified to judge for how many stars should a hotel have.. I can assure you that our breakfast is always fresh. Think about how much you actually paid in our hotel , you have probably very unrealistic expectacions, because for a cheap price you can't expect a palace...Our rooms are very comfortable, clean, spacious and most of our guests are happy with it. Nevertheless, I sincerely hope you had a great time in Prague and we would be delighted to welcome you back. Once again thank you for taking the time to write a review and for choosing Hotel Rezidence Emmy. Sincerely, Adela W, Sales&Marketing Manag ,

An evaluation point for Emmy hotel, from 1 to 10; well, let me say never again. This hotel was written to be a 4 star hotel but if that is true, it must be a strange scale system from 1 to 50 stars than, so that they may get a 4 star, I believe. Their biggest frontal sign (picture 1) summarize the fact. As you can clearly see, you can only notice two letters (..TE..) from HOTEL. The other letters fading away had to be a clue for us by our entrance about hotel sign clearly showed what we were about to experience :) picture 1 By our entrance to reception the staff was unbelieveably rude and with long-faces. We did not understand what was going on but they seemed really disturbed by our check-in. Their English was so poor that it was almost impossible to maintain a decent conversation. Rest of the staff at the restaurant and all other areas, were not able to speak a word English. As we entered the room, we saw that our bed was two single beds. We went back to reception and requested for a room change because we did not want to sleep seperated, But they said "No!" That was it. We stayed in that room for 3 nights in different beds. The room also was fantastic :) As seen clearly from photo 2, if you turn the tv on, the only way to watch it was to stand infront of it. From the bed, you can see only the left side of tv :) not the screen. In picture 3, there was a machine on the wall, we could not discover what it was but probably a strange 1980's AC machine which produces a terrible loud sound. When it works it is not possible to sleep in the room because it is really noisy. It also was covered with dirt, terrible. Photo 4 is a shampoo plastic bag for single use only, you receive 1 per day. If you decide to take a shower again, not possible with a shampoo unfortunately :) you can only have water. On the other hand, room was full of danger and adventure. For example the sign on the bathroom wall, photo number 5: warns you about the way you shower, if you let the water reach out of the bathroom accidentaly, the punishment is " MINIMUM" 250 Euros. What???!! what does that "minimum" mean? for example may that fee be 5000 Euros? C'mooooon, what is that ? This hotel still is stuck to the USSR era. What is that mean, so rude! Breakfast was just o.k. Nothing original actually. But staff is so angry again, not a word in English. If you accidently make an eye contact with one of that staff, they look back at you with almost " hatred". Unbelievable indeed. Our accomodation was terrible, so if you ask me, please stay at somewhere else. Do not do the same mistake.

First of all, our hotel is a definitely a four star hotel with proper international certification, usually are our guests really satisfied with our rooms. I can assure you that our staff speaks English...Bed type is not guaranteed, if we are fully booked, we can not move you to another room unfortunately. If you read the sign clearly you would understand that it says you shouldn't take a shower outside of the tub. Some guests are doing it and flooding and destroying our rooms. Furthermore, your comment about USSR era is very inappropriate. We were never part of USSR, so you should learn history before writing ridicilous comments.. Nevertheless, I sincerely hope you had a great time in Prague and we would be delighted to welcome you back.
