We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights – it was our first time Prague experience. I do not have a possibility to compare to other hotels in Czech republic. But in general we were very satisfied with the hotel. The hotel it still very central, in spite of it is not situated in Old Town. There is a very... More

Great hotel. We received a nice room with a garden overlooking Prague centre. The location is ideal: 15minutes walk to Charles' Bridge and St Vithus Cathedral. Hotel is located in the gardens of Strahov monastery. Friendly staff and large choice of breakfast. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service! Very helpful with directions, advice, and even let us stay a few hours longer in our room without charge as our flight out of Prague was after checkout time. Breakfast was the best we've had, everything you could want in a buffet breakfast.

This boutique hotel (only 12 rooms) is inside a 15th century monastery, which is a major tourist attraction. The rooms have a contemporary and clever design. Do not expect high-end furnishings and fixtures, but everything is very functional. The breakfast was excellent and the service was friendly. The man at the front desk spoke English well and gave us great... More

Interesting surroundings, handy to castle and Charles Bridge areas ( steep hill) good views, excellent loft rooms, staff, breakfast. Excellent bells chiming in a peaceful setting in middle of a perfect holiday city. Modern rooms in what was part of the Monastery - my companions- three ladies- liked this place a lot. Reasonable rates and good service. European visitors and... More

We stayed in room 21 and were blown away by the fantastic view with Prague lit up below us. Andrea greeted us and couldn't have been more helpful with advice on how to make the best use of our short time in the city. The hotel is a 10 to 15 walk into the central area of Prague and for... More

Wow. Just wow! What a fabulous hotel. In beautiful grounds with stunning views of Prague. Don't waste money staying in the centre. You will not forget the views from the garden. Take the 22 tram from outside opposite the entrance to the hotel and you are in Prague centrum in minutes. Really a good choice coming back up as well!... More

It's like you're not in the city - the hotel situated in the monastery on the hill, surrounded by park. I liked atmosphere of the museum and overall magic of ventures you definitely feel in this hotel. But 10--15 min walk will bring you to city center! Magic place. Hotel not big but crevice is nice and friendly. Calm and... More

Close to the Hradcany Castle, the view on Prague from the window or terrace is gorgeous. The building (reportedly former wash house of the nearby monastery) was refurbished recently. The rooms are very spacious, very clean and decorated with lot of taste. Several rooms have two levels, with a stairs to the "bedroom" part. Guests with reduced mobility or simply... More

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighborhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
