The rooms are on the sixth and top floor of a building near the Florence metro stop and the bus station departing and arriving from abroad (Flixbus and similar). The upper floor makes the view (with a small terrace) towards the Žižkov area very panoramic, with the television tower being the protagonist of the stay! The center is not close: walkers, like us, will take about 20 minutes to reach it. Alternatively, the subway is convenient and efficient. Bus 135 takes you, in a few stops, to the central station from which the AE buses to and from the airport depart and arrive. Even in that case, you will have to understand how to cross the sprawling station to get there.... The unique environment of the apartment includes a double bed and an equipped kitchen, with comfortable spaces for 2 people. An additional sink compared to the one in the bathroom is always very convenient! Unfortunately the wardrobe is small, with not enough space even for one person. A piece of furniture provides space for storing folded clothing. The bathroom is decidedly small, tub with shower, no bidet. Towels, soap, dish detergent, shower gel with shampoo, toilet paper are provided. Despite the presence of the electric coffee machine, very few capsules are provided. Attention: the luggage store service is not provided on the day of departure. You will have to store your luggage in the convenient luggage store of the bus station, located exactly in front of the apartment, a cheaper place than the lugagge store of the central station, automated and with limits on the size of the luggage.
To manage requests in the apartment, we communicate via WhatsApp. The delivery and return of the keys is convenient and completely free of personal contact: instructions are provided via WhatsApp, close to arrival. Good stay! Prague is magical!

Prague, is truly breathtaking. I cannot say enough about the city, and the architecture, and the scenery, and the food. My friend and I stayed at David's Guest House for 3 nights in March of 2006 - I can't imagine it being any better on a budget!

David's Guest House is an apartment style pension/hostel ...we were on the 5th floor in a great little apartment. We had a nice view from our balcony, and our own kitchenette. Our room had two twin beds which were very comfortable, a tv, and phone. The bathroom was a little small, but had everything we needed (HUGE, very deep tub!) The building has a small elevator that fits one - maybe two people...the doors were padded for sound-proofing, and the apartments are above a wonderful pizzaria. The smells were so amazing that we HAD to try the pizza one night. I found the cheese quite salty, but it was wonderful nonetheless. We were in walking distance to a market, so our fridge came in handy for the fruit and juice we bought. It was also within walking distance to the subway, and the streets seemed quite safe at pretty much all hours.
The price was quite affordable for two single girls travelling around Europe. I would absolutely recommend David's Guest House to anyone looking for more than just a hotel.

Minus 5 stars money-hungry and 0 willing to compromise

I would only need a place to stay for one night as I am going to the KH.
Since the accommodation does not meet me even with 30 minutes, I had to find another accommodation.

I found immediately after booking (and immediate payment) that the check-in and check-out times didn't fit (which I haven't seen before) whereupon I immediately contacted the property and asked for waiver of the costs.
Unfortunately, despite immediate information on my part (within 15 minutes of booking and payment) no compromise was made, they insisted that must be paid 😡.

Too bad and sad that one because of 60€ his guests so bruised, we had under other circumstances for sure come back another time, under these circumstances that definitely won't happen.

50 metres from the exit of the red metro and opposite the main coach station with tram and bus nearbgt mke it convenient. You are renting a room in a 4 bed apartment with kitchen with kettle, microwave refidgerator and free tea and coffee. WiFi routers connected but limited bandwidth so useless.
room was clean and comfortable.

I have stayed for this apartment for 6 days!
Pros:
1) Good location, just 15 ~ 20 mins walking distance to Old Town & just opposite to the Florence Bus Station (there is an money exchange shop inside which was the best rate i met in Prague)
2) Good neigbourhood ~ police station just right opposite
3) Have supermarket, restaurants nearby
4) Free stable Wifi
5) Clean, comfortable & spacious room with full equipped kitchen
6) Free instant coffee & tea
7) Can storage your baggages after check-outed
8) Have lift even though it is very small
9) Nice receipts

Cons:
1) there is no ventilation & sink in the bathroom
2) u can hear the flushing water sound of the next room

There are 2 room types : class studio & luxury studio

I have stayed 2 nights at the top floor (6/F) which is the most spacious room with private balcony
of cause it is the luxury type and free upgraded to me
and 2 nights at 3/F & 1/F, with double bed, small kitchen, bathroom without ventilation
they just charged me Euro $38 per night for single use without breadfast
it was 15% off to me

Overall I would not recommend this hostel. This hostel is about a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre, however is located in a shabby part of town with a lot of graffiti and litter.

The room itself is not in the best condition either. The bed sheets/covers do not appear to be of utmost cleanliness. The bathroom is extremely small with dirty shower curtains.

For those who value cleanliness and comfort this hostel is not recommended. However it is a good place for students travelling on a budget at $70USD a night for a single room. Hint: there is also another hotel right across the street that charges about the same rate as David’s apartment and is far more bearable than this one.

On a positive note, the pizza restaurant located downstairs is delicious! One of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. The only reason why I would return this part of town.

This is a query place. Oposit the main Cop Shop and YMCA, It feels like a run down part of Prague, the outside of the building isn't appealing or obvious, the lift was an experience, a 2 person as long as they don't break the Lazer beam that should be a door, then the lift stops, stop the beam buzzing then push the button again, weird. The room pleasently supposed us, all looked new, very clean, we were top floor and had a lovely balcony that we sat out on, looking at the other pictures on TripAdvisor it seemed it was balcony or bath because our rooms toilet and sink and shower were the same size as a plane/train. Quite, Quite small. I'm not overly large but some one breaking the 15stone mark would struggle, definitely not disabled friendly, Proper jar of coffee and decent tea etc in the room. Hairdryer, telly. A/C all good, if I stayed here again I would ask for one of the bigger rooms, sod the balcony.

We had a two room apartment which has two bedrooms, a bath and a half, and a kitchen. It was on the fourth floor, there is an elevator but it's small and the stairs were fine. Location is OK, in the summer with windows open there can be a lot of street noise from the international bus station across the street.

Laundry is a very nice added service for long travelers. Friendly staff helps out all the way through. Parking is tough, there is a lot across the street but if you stay over the weekend be sure to pay in advance to get the discount.

Would recommend this place for sure...
1) Nice clean airy apartment with kitchen/bath. The kitchen was equipped and the other facilities were also great
2) WiFi was pretty decent, the check in process was easy and those folks at the reception were very friendly
3) Its quite close to the old town, a walking distance of 15-20 odd minutes. Right next to the Florenc Metro / bus station
4) A number of places to eat and drink around

We can organize for you a private pick-up service (the complete price is 550 CZK or 23 EUR, or you can USA the public transportation: the bus 100 toZličín, then metro B to Florenc station, use exit to Krizikova street. (60min takes this way, or 30min the public transportation).

Excuse for the late reply. The situation always depends on the room-type what will you choose. If the whole studio or more- room apartment, or just the private room inside the apartment. The private room only means that you would be sharing the bathroom, toilet and kitchen facility inside the big more-room apartment together with other klients having also just the private room inside the same apartment. When you will rent the whole apartment, you will always have the private facilities completely.
