Wonderful hotel tucked in on a quiet street a few blocks from the Charles bridge. Hotel Staff was very helpful and receptive to any questions. Hotel is in an old monastery that is quite elegant . Breakfast buffet was excellent.

I LOVED everything about this place. It's a quiet, lovely property located in the Little Quarter, and is only minutes from the Charles Bridge. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and spoke impeccable English. They upgraded us to a room with a patio off of the courtyard. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. They gave us a voucher... More

Absolutely loved Mandarin Oriental in Prague. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this hotel. If we ever make it back to Prague, will stay here again. The massage we had athe spa there was the best I've ever had!

Once you enter the Mandarin Oriental Prague, the site of a converted monastery, you immediately feel compelled to whisper. The cloistered entrance leads down a small pebbled road to the entrance of the hotel. From the warm welcome of the smiling doorman, the friendly front desk staff, or the knowledgable concierge who presides over the small lobby, you immediately forget... More

The hotel lives up to the Mandarin flag. What sets this hotel apart is the location. Walking distance to all the attractions and some of Prague's best restaurants. Breakfast buffet is outstanding so try the eggs Benedict and a latte. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Room was very comfortable with great linens. Good value for a luxury hotel with... As usual the mandarin didn't let us down. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely stay here again. The spa was amazing very relaxing. Had an amazing facial. Even tho over the other side of the town the Charles bridge made the walk over the river worth it.

The Mandarin Oriental is near all of the action, but feels a million miles away. The rooms are sizable, the staff amazing, and the overall facility is top notch. The spa services are all very reasonable and first class.

We spent 4 nights at the Mandarin Oriental in a Garden View room. The room was the perfect size, with a little sitting area and large bathroom. From the moment we checked in, we were treated warmly by the staff (Gustavo and another gentleman welcomed us). There is a nice fitness area and great breakfast. One of the best features... More

The Mandarin Prague may not be known as the top hotel in Prague, but we certainly felt that we were at the premiere one. The service was stellar from start to finish in the hotel. Although there was some spotty service on the Terrace, we mentioned it at checkout and the manager immediately made amends and tried to make sure... More

While this hotel is not inexpensive, it is well worth the cost. Perfect location in the quieter part of Prague. Walking distance to most tourist locations. The Spice restaurant was terrific and we went out of our way to eat lunch there. Amazon spa experience. We resided in one of the named suites and would do that again.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
