I have stayed at two other Mandarin Oriental hotels (Vegas, San Francisco-now closed), and enjoyed both. this is just below the Charles Bridge, and is located in a fine spot to walk to both the old town/Castle sites. The reception, dining and room areas are excellent and, despite the predictably high rate, worth the expense. If you can afford this... More

I most say that mandarin oriental Prague is the best hotel in Prague. From the first impression till the last moment everything was very well settle. We asked for a taxi from the hotel to pick us up from the airport, the taxi driver was very helpful he explained to us what is good to try in Prague and what... More

Stayed here for 4 nights and what a wonderful break it was. The hotel is located in a quiet area but still only 5min walk to Charles Bridge and tourist areas. All the staff are beyond polite, friendly and helpful with reception staff escorting you to your room on arrival. The room itself is big, with high ceilings and a... More

This was my first time, I tried to stay at a Mandarin Oriental. I had only heard the reputation of this great hotel, so was excited to see what all the fuss was about. I've stayed at several 5-star hotels, so I think I have a good basis for comparison. I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and I... More

If you are used to other Mandarin properties (Vegas, NYC for example) you might be a little disappointed here. The location is great in the Little Quarter but the hotel seems tired. The rooftop bar is only for guests of the Presidential Suite and unavailable to everyone else. Learned that the hard way. The terrace bar is overpriced with poor... More

A perfectly located , semi boutique hotel in the middle of the city. Classic Mandarin touch. Spice Lounge offers variety of wines and it really is very enjoyable to have a galss of wine after a long walking day in Prague. Very clean and spacious rooms. Excellent service and once again, unbeatable location..

The major benefits of this hotel are location and service. This hotel is in Mala Strana which is a quiet, charming section of Prague. It's tucked away from the crowded streets but super close to all of the cool sights on that side of the river. The staff is also wonderful and very willing to help however they can. Big... More

Prague's MO Hotel is a calm oasis of luxurious comfort. Equal in service to London's Corinthia Hotel. Staff members exude pride in MO and pamper their guests. Not stuffy or formal, but ideally professional staff. This former monastery has been carefully & beautifully rehabbed. Breakfast in a charming vaulted cloister. Courtyard with covered, outdoor seating. Plus, an interior courtyard for... More

From the time we were greeted upon pulling into the property, everyone greeted us by our names and tended to our every need. Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighborhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighborhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighborhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighborhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
